This was fun! They actually WANT you to win stuff! Staff is super nice, and we saw them reshuffle the items in the machine a few times to make sure you could win something fairly. It's about $1 per turn, but the best part is ... you can keep the stuffs OR trade them in for for points toward other prices on the wall behind cash registers. They have variety of popular themes: Pokemon, Nintendo, Bluey, Hello Kitty, various animals & food, small keychains to normal size stuffs..... it was fun! We only stayed about 20min, after dinner, but it was definitely cool experience!

What a great place to have some cheap, good, clean fun! Claw & Fun doesn't disappoint! Most of the machines only cost one coin ($1) and when we went we really scored on the winnings! The serotonin boosts were unmatched and we would recommend this spot as a place for family or a fun date idea! We will be back!

Cute claw arcade and friendly staff. Unfortunately this was not a great experience as the claws barely grabbed anything. Spent $40 and walked out with 1 plush. Even after an attendant adjusted one of the prizes, and 3 tokens, it kept slipping out the claw.

3.5 stars I enjoyed this place more than Claw Paradise in Sugar Land although technically we spent similar amount per plushie. Here, we spent $50 (60 tokens) and got 10 plushies and 1 lego character. In SL, we spent $20 and got 5 plushies. I still felt like some of the machines were "rigged" in a sense that the claw had weak holds or would shake and drop the plushie. They're all the same honestly! Reasons we liked this place more though: there are way more machines and cuter plushies of more well-known characters (eg Hello Kitty, Stitch). They're good quality too. Also, they had machines that were guarantee wins (2+ tokens, I saw some for 7 tokens); You just turn the dial. My nephew got a spiderman lego character for 2 tokens. There were more trade-in options here too. We traded in 5 plushies for a big Eevee plushie. The vibe was just more fun imo; More machines and more people (but not overly crowded on a Tuesday afternoon). We didn't have to repeat as many machines as we did in SL (and there, we only spent $20 but did a lot of repeats). We're not pros by any means, so we did learn that attempting a machine 2-3x did result in a win! (Bring the plush closer to the hole!) Would return with my nephews again (ages 9 and 12) if we were around the area.

Killing some time while waiting for more family to arrive. I loved playing claw machine games when I was young. This place has bonus tokens if you buy alot, 1 token for $1, if you purchase $20, you'll get 3 bonus tokens. I am trying to win anything so then I can trade up for Labubu. They have a points card as well if you choose to trade in the dolls for points and accumulate for a bigger prize.

I like this spot. It has a variety of plushies and toys for kids to choose if they when or purchase with more tokens. Overall, it's a fun place for my little ones. Con - At times, there's a quick release and you have to use another token to win, so second try is a for sure a win. Pro - people are nice to help rearrange the stuffies to help make it easier for you to grab. It's a spacious place, more so than the one off Bellaire. Def a go-to place for a second or third round!

Really enjoyed my time at Claw & Fun as there's a good variety of machines, prizes and trade up options. What's unique about here is their wall of gacha/blind boxes. Depending on the size they start at 5 tokens and go up from there. They offer figurines and keychains from popular games and animes like Genshin, Pokemon and Demon Slayer. For this visit they had a lot of Pokemon themed pushies as prizes. It was nice to see rarer ones like Alolan Vulpix and Growlithe and not just Pikachu. They also have a lot of mini claw machines with smaller prizes like keychains, mini pushies & small blind bags. For $20 you'll get 22 token, making it almost $1 per play since each machine takes 1 token. Which is on average here in the city. For this visit my win rate was okay-ish, 3 prizes for $20. Even so I'd visit again to see what else they'll stock their machines with next time.

I love the amount of gachas and even figurines ive seen from etsy! The claw machines have some unique plushies too. Clean shop but can get crowded! Def come early

We had so much fun! The reason for the 4 starts was bc some of the claws were so week we spent $8-$12 on some machines and it would keep dropping the prize They change out the stuffed animals about every 2 weeks so you can keep going to see what's new! Alllll of the staff was awesome!! I would definitely recommend going but be prepared to spend some money

My friends and I had lunch in the same complex, saw the place and decided to stop in. It was a Friday at 3:30pm and there was only a few others there. The two employees working were super friendly Nd attentive. The plushies and toys are good quality, we all had fun winning. When an employee saw us "struggling" on a machine they would ask if we wanted them to rearrange the stuffies, for example if the one wanted was not reachable. The 4 of us each spent between $10-$20 and we left with about 9 items total. There are bags to take your items home. It was definitely a lot of fun!

I thought this place was actually really good! The employees were super helpful and are always willing to help fluff the machines, especially if you are looking to try to get a specific plush. Machines were pretty solid. I spent 50 bucks for 60 tokens. Won 12 1-token claw plushies and 1-5 token collectible. It worked out to about $3.50-3.75 per plush, which I thought was pretty solid and fair. We got quite a bit of Pokemon plush. Looking forward to coming back hopefully to check on new Pokemon plush!

This place ideally works best in groups of 5, but we saw many combinations of families, friends, date nights, etc. We simply reserved online, checked in at the desk, put our stuff in a locker, scanned our wristbands, then went crazy trying all of the different game options. There is a variety of teamwork based games, competitive individual games, strategy, physical, speed, and mind games available. My personal favorites were mega grid, sequence, asteroids, and basketball. I won't give them all away though because that's part of the fun is seeing what all Activate has to offer. Overall, Activate is guaranteed to be a good time. My friend group can get competitive so we got into it for sure. My only small complaint here is that when this place gets busy, you'll have to wait for a room to open up. Come during off peak times and it's literally endless fun, enjoy!

Games involve running, jumping, throwing balls, maneuvering around lasers, etc. Each game is in its own room and scores are kept on your profile. You can compete as a team or against each other. Max capacity of each room is 5, so if you have a group bigger than that, you'll need to split up. If you decide to bring your kid, I recommend they be able to do things like throw a ball somewhat accurately, toss a basketball in a hoop, or be able to reach high enough for some interactions. I know my 4 year old won't be able to do most of these, but can't wait until he grows bigger to be able to. Some of the rooms had little quirks that needed addressing. For example, the laser guns did not work for us, one of the stepping tiles didn't react, one of the screens had the touch screen keyboard pulled up accidentally (covering half the screen). Make sure you wear athletic clothing and stretch before going. Fun place for team building, fun date, friends hangout, or just letting the kids burn energy.

Pros: - Making reservations was easy and the staff was really helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions because I've never booked a birthday party like this at Main Event, or anywhere in general. - We got a party host to help transition and communicate with us throughout the 3 hours we were there. This helped because she kept us up to date about our rooms. She even carried our cakes, party favors, and gifts to our room while we were bowling. - She was also very sweet, patient, and kind. She never had an annoyed or frustrated look on her face. She did things with a smile the entire time! - Probably because we had a large party, but we had our meal in a private room, instead of one of those long tables. This made it more intimate, spacious, relaxing, and quiet. It also helped keep the kids together because there were 20 of them! - The sliders, fries, and fruit (we had orange slices) is the biggest bang for your buck in my opinion. The fries were amazing! They were the perfectly salted and crispy. The sliders were a tad dry and really needed condiments. However, I was glad that they had another option besides pizza. - During cake time, our party host provided a lighter and even cut the cakes for us. - We were provided lockers to store the gifts so we didn't have to carry it around during the arcade time. - The three hours of activities and food combination was the perfect amount of time. The 500 VIP points was also helpful so my boys could grab something from the store to make their birthday a little more special. My boys and their friends had a LOT of fun! Cons: - We only had one party host to accommodate 30+ people, so you can imagine how slow service was at times. She did the best she could, but I think having another person would have helped. We had unlimited drinks, so she was constantly getting our drink orders. I was so thirsty at one point, but felt so bad for her that I didn't even ask for water. - We had 1 hour of bowling before we headed to the private room for food. I think it would have been easier and better if it was fully supplied. There were no napkins, utensils, or condiments. The pizza was already there and we were just waiting on the sliders, fries, and fruit. Once the first set of sliders and fries came, we started to serve with our hands and used plates as tongs to grab the fries. It wasn't until several minutes later when the second set of sliders/fries came that tongs arrived. - Also, the party package said that there would be condiments on the side, but nothing was provided. We had to ask for ketchup twice before it came. I think to make things easier, the party host should have been provided a rolling cart to carry multiple things so she didn't have to keep running back and forth. Also, Main Event should really consider providing pitchers of water/drinks so we can serve ourselves. It would have been a lot faster and more efficient. - The math wasn't mathing when it came to the sliders. I paid for 18 kids, but we got 32 sliders. So either we got extra sliders, or we were missing 4 sliders. In the end it didn't matter because the amount of food was enough. - We are not allowed to bring outside food so we HAD to purchase extra food for the parents. We got three pizzas and it was so expensive! It was basically $60. - I did not anticipate having to pay for service fees/tip. I wasn't angry about tipping my party host. I think she did the best she could and deserved a tip. I was just surprised about the service fee and felt put on the spot about tipping. Like I said, I've never done this before. Basically it made everything about $100 more expensive. *The cons are mainly because of the price and hiccups we had during our time of eating.* Overall, the place is super expensive. $17.99 a kid is not bad in general because it includes 1 hour of activity, food, and $10 play card. However, it does add up quickly when hosting for a birthday party. I think it would be more reasonable if the price went down if you have more than 10 kids or something. What makes it incredibly expensive in the end is the service fee, tip, and having to pay for extra food. I think for the price you pay, the service could be a lot better and more organized. This is speaking in general, and nothing against our party host specifically. The place was PACKED when we went. However, since the place is gigantic, it wasn't that crowded when you walked around, which was nice. If anything, it added to the fun and festivities. In the end, my boys had a great time and so did their friends. I didn't have to clean or cook, so that took away a great deal of stress as a mom. Would I ever do this again? Probably not, unless there was an amazing deal going on.

We usually walk away with at least a few prizes elsewhere, but we didn't get a single thing here. Customer service could be better. Other claw machine places we've been to have always had super friendly employees who even often offer to help and are just overall really nice. But that's not what it was like here at all.
