Went on a date with husband , was ready for a great time . Initially our instructor was great and we shared laughs with her before beginning but once we started it seemed she was just rushing through as though she couldn't wait to be done with the class. I kept having to ask what color and brush to use because she wasn't very vocal about what she was doing during the steps . Eventually my husband just did his own thing because he couldn't keep up and I felt the same . I have been to a different location and had the most amazing time but this time was kind of a let down . Came here on a double date and had so much fun. I was a little intimidated at the thought of painting because I'm no where close to an artist but the instructor was fun, bubbly and super interactive. Didn't think I'd like this because I have no artistic talent whatsoever. I was pleasantly surprised. We did a private party and the instructor helped me with each step. I really liked how it turned out. We also did scented candle making, which was fun and easy. I'm sure we'll go back someday. read more

Painting with a twist is always fun but I especially liked that this location carried several options of wine that you could purchase directly at the location. My friends and I were running late so we were bummed we weren't going to have anything to drink and we were pleasantly surprised with the options when we arrived. Fun experience! Honestly with so many other paint studios around the Houston area PWAT is not my first choice. They never run specials outside of their loyalty program and most of their paintings are either too simple are too difficult in my opinion. But my group decided this is where they wanted to paint so I decided to tag along. The handful of times I have gone, I've had a great time. My friend and I decided to give painting our pets a try. I'm not the most artistically inclined so I was prepared for the worst. Katie made the whole evening so fun! Not only did she give easy to understand instructions, she helped when we needed it and I have to say I am so surprised at how well my dog's portrait turned out!! It was me and my boyfriend's first time here, and after reading the terrible reviews about some instructors, I'm glad Louis taught my first class. He was really on point with his techniques and very goofy. His instructions were easy to follow and he also provided demonstrations on how to paint certain objects ( i.e., a tree). There was also music trivia and a little drawing contest with prizes at the end. read more

Did not enjoy this as much as I enjoyed Pinot's Palet. We were unable to hear due to the large amount of extremely drunk people. This felt more like music trivia at a party full of belligerent people while a few were trying to paint. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning. read more

Katy, our teacher, was great! She was helpful, cool, and funny. While we painted, we played music trivia with some oldies and new music. It was a great way to start our weekend. Made reservations for a Saturday night. We had a great time! The art instructor was very patient and fun to work with. Everyone had a good time. Even if you can't draw or paint you will have fun trying! Wish there was a little more elbow room between you and the next painter. The experience was amazing not to happy with the instructor. She got snappy with my guest because she had to tell us again how to mix colors. First off there are 25 some people in the class also patience is a virtue! We were all Professionals and business owners not kids. I did it like the fact that my guest later stated that the instructor was snappy and they did to appreciate it. I heard it myself but over looked it because it was my day. To top off I left my 37 bottle of water on the floor at the studio. I tried calling the studio to say I would be back but no one would answer. I go in on Monday and my water is sitting in same spot with 10 bottles. I ask that same instructor who taught my class about my water. Not once did she apologize for my water being drink out of but said she had been gone and shrugged her shoulder as she continue to put make up or lotion on her face. This just may have lost my business and I'm sure some of my coworkers who were At the party. PS do not give a survey where you feel pressured because the instructor is the one handing you the survey. read more

I called to arrange a group event for a meeting. On the phone I asked if I could see what our options for painting were and was told she would send us a link to see our choices. Imagine my surprise when I wrote an e-mail asking for it to be sent/resent as I had not received it and was told that until I paid a $100 deposit I could not be sent the choices. Think about that for a minute - pay $100 or you don't get to see your possible choices. I was offended when Michelle "apologized" if I misunderstood. I didn't misunderstand; I was told a link would be sent and then I was told first I had to pony up $100. That is NOT great customer service. But hey - if you like mystery and surprisedthis could be perfect for you! read more
