    Take the challenge!
    Lisa K ..

Everyone needs to try this place at least one time with someone different! We came as a family, but I'll have to say this is one of the best ways to take someone on a date!! lol! If you're looking to get to know someone - this place is filled with challenges! You will find out what a person is all about mentally, intellectually, PHYSICALLY, and emotionally! Beware, you must be FIT or somewhat active for most of these games!! :D Wear appropriate shoes.... Price is good! Choose the 90 minutes! It's worth it! Thanks to the friendly staff! I'll definitely tell everyone I know about this place! Bring your kids --- they will love it!

With kids aged 9 and 19, it's often difficult to find an activity we can all enjoy--but this experience was perfect for every age. There are dozens of rooms filled with unique puzzles, some physical and others focused on teamwork and problem-solving. They offer free lockers to store your belongings, a DIY bar where you can pour your own craft beers on tap, and a nice restaurant with well-priced food. BRKTHROUGH truly did not disappoint.

If you're looking for something fun, highly recommend going to Brkthrough. We initially booked a 2-hour session, but we were having so much fun, we extended another hour. There are over 30 fun game room challenges that are based on either skill, mental or physical abilities. Some rooms require multiple abilities to complete the challenge in each room for a maximum of 100 points per room. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Here's what I learned while there. 1) You can do a tour if you want to learn more. 2) They offer two and three hour sessions. I recommend 3 hours if it's your first time. It takes you longer to figure out some of the challenges. 3) They have tap beer wall, and food. If you want to eat there, go an hour before your allotted time so you can order and eat. We had the corn dip and it was delicious. The chicken nuggets were so moist and delicious as well. 4) Outside of each room there are holders for water bottles, and they have a water refill station at the facility. 5) Wear sneakers and athletic wear. You'll get active, trust me. 6) They have lockers to store your belongings in the lobby. If you want to carry your phone, make sure your clothing has pockets. You should take your phone because you're able to scan the QR code for a clue. Parking can be either in a surface parking spot, or in the parking garage. Can't wait to go back again.

-The WORST I have ever been treated by a business-…read more I have been on this planet for almost 37 years now and have never been talked to, policed by, treated-as-poorly or had my integrity insulted by a business like I was this evening. The premise is simple - if the party does not pay to have bar service then NO alcohol is to be on the premises. (All-good at face value. After all, they are a business and protecting themselves.) What was NOT good was how they went about policing people coming into the party (going as far as to check inside of new arrivals trunks to check for alcohol! I'm sorry, are you the police?) The bartender actually went as far as to - literally here folks - RIP a bag of liquors out of my hands while I was on the phone with my wife. (Uhh...EXCUSE ME?! Assault people much?) This was not the end of our playful trysts of the evening. When we asked her to have the booze back so we could keep it sealed and place it into our locked vehicles, she said that she couldn't do that due to the fact that the business couldn't monitor alcohol outside of the bar. "OK, well - that's my property and I'm going to go put it in my vehicle (again, also my property), where it can stay put and remain unopened." Again, she said she couldn't do that. "So, you're saying that I cannot have my property back?" "Yes sir. I'm sorry, but that is our policy - we simply do not have the staff available to follow individuals around the whole night to make sure they are complying with our policy." "OK! So then can you apologize for acting so rudely and unprofessionally, as to actually remove the bag from my possession while I'm having a conversation with my wife on the phone?! Or, is it too much for me to ask for an additional apology for insulting my integrity?" "Sir, I don't know why you are getting upset and rude with me." At this point I turn to my co-worker beside me and give him the look. [Um, I don't remember calling her any names or yelling or otherwise throwing a tantrum. I've been very calm and understanding up until this point.] "Ma'am, obviously there's been a miscommunication. But we're not being rude with you or upset, although now I'm beginning to become upset." Long story short, we talked with the head of our party, who spoke with the manager. Stephanie, the manager, gave permission for the alcohol to be moved into the bridal suite where there is a refrigerator. I then proceeded to move said liquor to the bridal suite. ---Fast forward 1 hour later--- Well the ceremony is done and it's a hot day. I'm headed over to the bridal suite to have a quick cocktail - not to leave the suite of course! - Only to find out that they had come back into the suite and...get this; STOLEN the liquor!!! No notice. No 'Hey, by the way, we needed to move the liquor in your suite for whatever lame excuse I can come up with.' NOTHING. I swear. It took everything I had at the end of the night not to throw a bottle through a plate glass window! The nerve of these people! I don't know how you could expect someone to have a decent experience when you treat your guests with such blatant disrespect!! So on the hospitality scale, I would give this place a -10. However, I'm sure that if you opt-in for the open bar then you'll have a good time. Provided no one in your party actually has to deal with the snooty-brat-turned-bartender; or has any civil misunderstanding with management. By the way, the view is fantastic! :)

Not only can you rent out and build offices specific for your busniess needs, but there are opportunities to rent out meeting spaces for large projects. You can also bring you own furniture into the space or rent some for a small fee. The front staff are the stars of the show, always smiling and always friendly. Maria and Michelle always go above and beyond for all my requests. The refreshment and co-op areas are clean and well maintained. There is even an option to sign-up to the gym on site. This is a wonderful co-op space and I highly recomend it.

After researching and visiting over 5+ different work spaces/coworking/office space companies, The Work Lodge was by far the best fit in terms of their first impressions and WOW factor which ALWAYS matters and the FEEL, CULTURE, and Overall VIBE of the Staff and other businesses felt like the right fit. My first one person office I decided was the best fit was at The Work Lodge Woodlands location and I went with The Work Lodge Black one person window view office which had a more premium feel due to my clients all being high level executives and doctors and I wanted to present the company as premium to justify our service costs. After only one quarter of being at The Work Lodge Woodlands, we doubled our revenue and I needed to go into a 3 Person office and my team all lived closer to The Work Lodge Vintage location which had a great Vibe and Culture as well like The Woodlands location so we moved there. No Joke, by the time the second quarter ended at The Work Lodge Vintage Location, we doubled last quarter's numbers, and the company now outgrew that 3 person office and we now moved into our new 5 person office at the very front of The Work Lodge Vintage location and are seeing the same growth for this quarter. Also, they provided all the HIGH END Modern office chairs, furniture, internet, fruit infused water, coffee, and more!!! Who does that??!! Needless to say, we have not only been able to generate revenue to sustain this growth, but because I went into The Work Lodge and not a traditional office space lease that would lock us down into a long term lease into a 3 year, 5 year, or even 10 year lease, we were able to seamlessly move into a bigger and bigger office each time by simply paying the difference. The ability to scale so effortlessly in a business focus environment is a GAME CHANGER!! I highly recommend The Work Lodge locations to any small, midsize, startups, or established businesses that want a great office space/coworking space to be productive and be around like minded motivated entrepreneurs that are hungry to be successful. Also, The Work Lodge is not a big GLOBO investor driven cookie cutter office/coworking office space company and is a local business with an awesome team and CEO! I am proud to say my company and I will be a Work Lodge Lifer! #iamaworklodgelifer #theworklodge #supportlocalbusiness

She had been wanting to celebrate here the past couple years, but the Texans were usually still playing, so she'd pick a brewery in Spring with TVs instead. The entrance is inconspicuous and is one way in/out. Parking is decent. You can take tours when in season. When we were there, there was a baby shower happening in the small barn-looking building and a cooking class on the covered patio. So, we sat outside in the cold with some sun shades covers. It was a huge, open area. The sun was out, so it wasn't too bad. They could use some outdoor warmers or a fire pit. You go inside and order wine and food. They had limited options and didn't have any non-alcoholic wines. They had water and soft drinks for NA drinkers. No charcuterie since they had so many different events happening. There were 2-3 people manning the bar, and they seemed a little unorganized or critical of each other's help. It was strange. I tried a few samples of their rosè, one Chardonnay and a sparkling before I settled on 2023 Laren's Wild Rosé with strawberry and rose petal undertones. I liked it because it was less dry than the other rosé. Other than the baby shower and cooking class, it wasn't very busy on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few parents letting their kids run around the area and on the stage. There was live music inside. Staff would come out to pick up wine glasses and serve the flatbread that some people in our party ordered. The pepperoni pizza looked good. I ate before I got there, so I didn't try. I particularly wouldn't return unless it was a family or friend celebration of some sort. While not a vineyard, there are other wine bars in the city that offer NA options, a larger wine selection and food.

    The Woodlands Resort

Comfy yes, but Convenient? No…read more The Woodlands Resort has so much potential of being a perfect staycation upon driving unto the grounds, but from check in, slowly but surely, you see the extravagant smoke and mirrors of inconvenience that envelops this place. Just checking in is a hassle. Although they advertise in their welcome paraphenanlia that carts are available to take you from the visitor lot to the hotel from 12 to 5, the carts were parked and no one around to drive them. Note- the lot in front of the hotel where you check in is not for overnight parking- you will be towed! After driving around the lot twice, I pulled up and asked the conceirge if I could drop my luggage off while I parked and walked to the hotel. He told me no problem although I was not asked to check it in and get like a ticket to validate my pickup once I parked my car. Luckily, no one else had dropped off their luggage and shifts hadn't changed to have an issue. Check in was a breeze with the typical show me your license and credit card in case of incidentals. Note- They put a $150 hold on your credit card. You're asked if you want 1 or 2 hotel keys which I should have said two because I accidently locked myself out my room night 2 as I had changed bags and picked up the key sleeve without the key in it! That also proved to be quite easy as I just proved my identity through my address and telephone nunber without an id. Although the people were quite nice here, what wasn't so nice was the 2 little bottles of water they give you and no whee to fill them. Sure, get the ice bucket and let the ice melt into water but if you frequently drink water, that will not be enough! You have a little bit of luck when you attend meetings or breakfast in the conference center across the way where they'll have water available. Other than that, those two water bottles per day are all you're going to get! Additionally,, I was extremely disappointed that I found my room the next day not attended to and without water and towels and I had been gone from the room from 9am to 3pm. I called down to front and shared the disatisfaction and in 10 minutes I was given 2 extra bottles besides the two for the day and plenty of towels for my stay (or maybe they didn't want me contacting them again). The scenery of the resort takes away some of the inconveniences of the hotel. If you had to stay here for a conference for several days, you wouldn't feel isolated or enclosed inside since you have to walk outside to get to the conference center, the gym, and breakfast. However, we did have individuals that were present for the event I was attending that had limited mobility. It would have been nice to at least accommodate those individuals. I even helped other attendees carry luggage to their car to the visitor lot because AGAIN no one was driving around carts to assist people in this regard and it was the first weekend that summer had started ,so you know it was hot!!!! Drinks at the bar are slow as molasses with one bartender. The first night I was there, the young lady behind the bar looked so overwhelmed... I didn't even want to order, but someone else was paying for my drink and insisted, so I ordered a lemon drop. I did ask if she knew how to make it and she said yes. It wasn't the worse but not the best. Others in my party stated the same. I did enjoy the gym that had just enough cardio, weight machines, and other aerebic equipment to get a good sweat. Towels and water are in the room along with disinfecting wipes. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choices. I do love a good omelet and fresh juice bar! You can request a cup of coffee to go too! Certainly if I came here again I would be prepared to have my own water and my walking shoes ready. Pretty location but an hour drive for me using the toll. It's a toss up if I would come back if the organization that organized the conference I attended chose this location for a conference next year.
