They cleared out "the party room" and gave us our own space. Also, it's BYOB and Specs is 3 doors down.. so we got a few beverages before beginning. The owner of this establishment, Lottie, is a former teacher and she really enjoys taking the time to help you pick the right colors and learn the techniques and understand the process. As a group we decided to draw names out of a hat and paint a mug for the name we drew. Good times. Each piece was under $20 and we were there for 3 hours painting. Honestly, it's one of the more inexpensive excursions a group of adults can do and being able to take something hand painted home from the day is a beautiful reminder of a moment of time. We never felt rushed to leave and any questions we had were answered immediately and in a way we could understand. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

I really liked this place!…read more First off: I am probably the most artistically challenged person so I was very nervous to paint because I knew that it would not come out very great however, being a first-timer was still okay due to the fact that my instructor Ms. O was super nice and led the class wonderfully and with clarity. I loved the piece I painted and both my best friend and I's paintings came out pretty great! Completely worth the price and i had an enjoyable time. You let Liz know what you want to paint and she sketches the image and provides a color picture of what you are painting to follow. My mom and I did a Brazilian neighborhood and my daughter painted a cartoon character while my son painted a Ninja Turtle. Liz provided the paint, canvas, apron and brushes and was there if you had any questions. It was a fun family activity in an extremely comfortable environment. When I arrived I was taken by the wonderful atmosphere in Cherie's studio. Everywhere you turned there was something else that was interesting and fun to look at. Cherie herself made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I was amazed at how quickly the weekend passed and how re-charged I felt at the end.
