From the very beginning, I felt seen, supported, and genuinely cared for not just as a student, but as a person preparing to step into a professional future. This campus is filled with individuals who don't just do their jobs... they pour into people, and that makes all the difference. Ms. Lynch, our Lead Medical Assistant Instructor, is truly one of a kind. Her passion for teaching goes far beyond the classroom. She is patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated to making sure every student understands not only the "how" but also the "why." She believed in me even during moments when I doubted myself, and that kind of encouragement is something I will carry with me forever. Dr. Sherman exemplifies leadership, professionalism, and genuine care. Her presence alone reassures you that you are in the right place, and her commitment to student success does not go unnoticed. She leads with integrity and creates an environment where excellence is expected but also supported every step of the way. Mr. Ian Avington in Career Services is truly a blessing. He goes above and beyond to ensure students are not just prepared, but confident stepping into the workforce. His guidance, motivation, and willingness to help at any time made such a lasting impact on me. Ms. Juanice Brice is equally phenomenal. Her kindness, encouragement, and dedication to helping students succeed is unmatched. She makes you feel valued and supported, and she works tirelessly to open doors and create opportunities for each and every graduate. Together, this team represents what true passion, purpose, and service look like. They are more than staff they are mentors, motivators, and life-changers. I can wholeheartedly say that choosing Fortis South Campus was one of the best decisions I've ever made. If you are considering a career in the medical field, this is the place to start. You will be challenged, supported, uplifted, and prepared in ways that go far beyond expectations. Thank you all for being such a powerful part of my journey. I will forever be grateful.

I signed up for an EKG technician course during this pandemic to hopefully get my foot in the door…read moreat a better job. From the beginning I should've known that the school is not a reputable school. They are worried about taking your money right away before giving you a curriculum or even a tour of the school. The classroom I was personally in fits 3 people and the equipment used to taught the course was all non functional. The first day was a mandatory CPR course (which i get why you need in the medical field) but all it was was showing us a video that asked us to follow the video with a dummy that we did not have. When Dr. Raymond came back in the room he taught the most basic cpr instructions on a a gross looking dummy for about 10 minutes. The classrooms were full of old unusable equipment and photos of students from the early 2000's. I learned everything straight from the book/the internet on my own. Dr. Raymond's lectures are about 10 minutes long (if you're lucky) where he says nonsensical things or reads straight from the book. I asked him questions countless times and was left more confused than before as it was like he didn't know what he was talking about. He accidentally left me a voicemail talking trash about his students with the other teacher(his wife) and how students all think they know everything. At the end of my course I took my test in person and in writing(not electronically) and did not hear back anything about my results. I finally called and was answered by a rude receptionist saying she was sure she sent me the link to my certificate. Dr. Raymond did not offer me job placement even though I made sure to ask when I signed up if that's something they did. His wife assured me that they did. Instead I got a call from him offering to pay me $9 an hour to teach his EKG course for 2 hours a day, 2 days a week. (So a whopping $36 a week to teach others things I barely learned on my own) TLDR: do not go here if you want a real education. If you want to pay to go sit in a gross outdated classroom, read straight from a book everyday, and listen to the Doctor take personal phone calls while sitting in class with you trying to read about what he's about to "lecture" you on then this is the place! Also beware and ask about ALL THE FEES. As the test is not included, nor is CPR.

The instructor Allistor, was a wonderful teacher, and answered all of our questions. He was extremely patient and thoroughly identified different methods to locate veins. He also explained how to poke and draw blood using different needle gauges. Allistor was definitely a team leader and I genuinely enjoyed this course.. I was encouraged to read both the Phlebotomy Third Edition book and also the Phlebotomy Quick Study flyer. Highly Recommend taking this program!

He drives with his hands at the sides and mainly with one hand and teaches students to drive with both hands at the bottom of the wheel. He also would be on the phone with other people while in the middle of my lesson. I paid $500 in total worth 2 days of 2h adult lessons each and on the 2nd day we were driving, I was doing pretty well for the most part, but at a certain point in me having to make a turn at the light, I slowed down & made the turn, & as I was turning the wheel back, I was trying to carefully bring the steering wheel back to get into my lane and he jerked the wheel while he's sitting in the passenger seat as I'm driving, making me move it back to get in control, which caused it to go over a curb, almost into a ditch. After that he got mad at me when his hands shouldn't have been on the wheel. Nothing happened to the car, he simply overreacted, ended the lesson, and went back to the driving school. Now I'm currently going to another driving school where I can actually feel like I'm being taught with some patience and respect and not feeling handheld and shown with hypocrisy.
