I am a major fan of Painting with a Twist! This was my first time at Painting with a Twist and I enjoyed every bit of my experience. My family decided to go for my mother birthday because she loves to paint. Firstly, the room is quite small yet large enough to hold 36 painters I believe. Our teacher was very friendly and helped us when we asked for assistance. She walked around and complimented most of our paintings. The teacher was very patient with us as well. As we started painting, we played Music Trivia games according to the songs she played and the winning team won a price! The vibe was fun, everyone was friendly, and there was music in the background. Its good to know, if you get in early enough, you get to chose a better spot. Obviously the farther you are from the teacher, the less you can see. Painting with a Twist is a fun event for families, girls night, or even a date. The only reason I did not rate this 5/5 is because of the price which was $35 per person. I wished there was a discount for students, but there is not. read more

We came for pick your own painting night and had fun! You get instructions written on paper for your design so the instructor won't have a demo to walk through with you. They will help you if you have questions. We had fun drinking our wine and painting at the same time. They offered something that was unique and help bring a smile to our face now that we are Quarantine or at least social distancing. I ordered five kits: One for a friend's son and he did a marvelous job is very easy for him. One for my granddaughter I just been delivered today and three for myself Came complete. Somehow we ended up here for our mid-week date night. It was both of our first times painting & we were looking forward to trying something new. I forgot our guy's name that headed the class but he and the assistant were both amazing & so helpful. No worries if drawing/painting is not your strong-suit, their step by step instructions can't get any easier and they are beyond helpful. We arrived about 20 minutes before to set-up and get our seats. Most of the seating is assigned due to there being big and small parties in attendance. You are able to bring wine, drinks, snacks, food, etc. They provide glasses and plates, if needed. We ended up meeting and being sat next to another couple there so we somehow intertwined our paintings to match. We ended up having a really good time and met some very nice people. For someone who's not the best painter, the class was so much fun & I will definitely return. read more

I didn't have the best experience with this place. Left my purse there and when I came back to pick it up the next day, my expensive keychain was missing. I'm positive that the staff pickpocketed it because the older folks who were there that night wouldn't have know what it was to even pay any attention to it. I'm hoping there are cameras and management can resolve it but highly doubt it. Other than that the staff wasn't too friendly. Almost annoyed. The painter was rushing so while waiting to get more paint, you ended up missing essential steps in painting. read more

My painting turned out to be a disaster as I expected, but even so the class was lively and enjoyable. There were lots of "games" the whole class played to put extra twists in the class. My only complaint is that the music trivia was a bit too loud. Thank you PWAT-Cypress for a great team building work event today! Lan was our instructor and he was super nice (and patient) for all of our type-A property managers. He even said "well I don't need coffee anymore with y'alls energy this morning!" He played great music to keep us "in the zone" because since it was at 10am and a work event, no alcohol was being consumed (insert sad face lol). At one point he said "I'm kinda scared how y'all would be with alcohol!" Also, Lan was so kind to even help me out with a part of my tree to not make it look so bad (thank you!) Also, our executive assistant told me she was able to book everything with the location with ease. We even had the whole place to ourselves for our 2 hour painting for 15 people. I have been to PWAT multiple times previously at other locations and this definitely made my top 3 PWAT experiences. read more

I did have fun with my painting and friends...however I showed the guy my check in where it says you get something for checking in and he insisted it was a scam to get you to purchase the class. The music was a little loud but in the beginning he said he was doing a raffle at the end for a prize.( nobody won the "prize" and it was never spoke of again. I just am upset with all the false advertising and lack of help from the teacher...I'd go again only a different location and teacher! read more

Went here for my birthday with my sisters and we had a great time! I have done other paint and drink classes before, but I think it is awesome how at the end of class they do a drawing for a prize which was one of their existing paintings, and since it was my birthday I automatically get one!! Teacher was professional and nice. I also have to add that I forgot my phone in the apron that day and the next day was a holiday and Demitri was so nice enough to meet me on the day of closing to get my phone. I took my 10 year old son to a session they allowed younger children. It was a fun and unique experience for both of us.
