Initially, I thought this place was so poppin'. The easy parking and huge/clean dining vicinity was far better than that of most boba places. I was also impressed with the broad range of options on the menu. Not limited to bubble tea, there is also tons of desserts ranging from crepe cakes to dog shaped mousse, like omg. So Instagrammable. Too cute. I loved the aesthetic of the animals everywhere and accents of detail on little things like the straw wrapper. I hate to give such a low rating but it is a direct reflection of my satisfaction. We got the brown sugar fresh milk drink and it didn't wow me at all. It actually tasted like straight up milk, but even then I've had better milk than this so idk what gives. In addition to that, the tapioca was so soft and soggy that it felt like someone has already chewed it prior to me drinking it. Gross. I'm open to giving this place another try but I'm not sure how you could make something so unpleasant. The bubble tea hype in Seattle is competitive and this just wasn't up to par. Good flavors on the black sesame green tea. It is a smaller size than what most folks are used to in bubble tea world but it was plenty due to the richness. It has fairly pricey baked goods but I could not resist the lotus paste yolk pastry. Knocking of one star because if the incredible amount of plastic in the packaging and plastic straw rather than the compostable version. They have a plastic cap over the plastic seal then a super thick plastic cup. Yikes! I returned to have the dragonfruit smoothie with boba. Really interesting flavors and really delicious. A favorite place near the UW campus for delicious bubble tea. Very spacious shop with plenty of parking in front. Clean and adorably decorated with paintings of cats . Ample seating for hang outs with friends or study groups. The variety of bubble teas , snacks and especially desserts was amazing I especially came for the adorable mousse cake made in the shape of dogs. They also have panda cotta desserts shaped as a bunny. My favorite bubble tea is the Four Seasons bubble tea. Service was fast and customer service was friendly. They open late too until 11pm. The drinks are sooo good. They are not strong and sugary but rather refreshing which I love ! I love Mille cakes so I ordered a charcoal crepe cake which in honestly it taste like sweet cream and nothing else. The chocolate bull dog cake is a thick mousse and i love how it's has some dark chocolate that way it's not overly powering sweet. I would come back!!!! Timeless Tea definitely did a great job trying to implement social distancing practices during this difficult Covid-19 period. I've been here twice since everyone's been talking about it. I think it's got a solid structure. There are many staff to try and get things done quickly and lots of space to sit and hang out. In my opinion the drinks are mediocre, I think they're getting better as time goes on. The milk teas are not very strong in flavor which I was disappointed by. The boba however is cooked very nicely. Such a cute, clean and well decorated atmosphere. Parking is a nightmare, but that's the area for you, and not the fault of the shop. They're taking COVID precautions super seriously, which is a welcome change from many other local spots. I had the watermelon fruit tea and my friend had a sweetened milk tea. Both were good, and we were able to sit and chat for quite awhile without being crowded out or interrupted, which I really appreciated for a busy Saturday afternoon. I've been here 9872375 times but was waiting to try more items before writing a review. This place has definitely become my favorite bubble tea shop in U District. Everything I've tried so far have not disappointed. My favorite drinks here are the coffee milk tea and the watermelon fruit tea. All the fruit teas here come with tons of fresh fruit, and the tea taste is stronger compared to Yifang, for example. The boba is nothing out of the ordinary; I personally prefer their grass jelly. They also have a red bean boba but they are out of them most of the time; I only got to try it once out of all the times I've been. It's really special; each red bean boba is basically one red bean enrobed with clear tapioca. Their milk cap is pretty good too, and again, those drinks come with fresh fruits (including the mango one)! My least favorite drink so far is the pomegranate fruit tea. It tastes a little artificial and not much like pomegranate. In terms of food, I've only tried their durian mochi and it was pretty decent; enough durian but a little too much cream to my taste. The price is super reasonable compared to other bubble tea shops around (except for their smoothie which is pretty pricy but I'm assuming there's tons of fresh fruit in them). Timeless Tea is a hidden gem! This place is for sure going to be one of my go-tos! First star is because it's open late. Being open at 11pm on a Sunday night is very rare. That is how my friends and I were drawn here in the first place. When you walk in, you can tell it's very clean. They are practicing social distancing measures but you're still able to sit at certain seats! The drink menu was extremely foreign to me. They don't have your typical flavors, I believe it's more of the authentic Taiwanese teas. This forced me to go outside of my taro milk tea comfort zone and try something new. I was taking a long time to choose and asking the staff a lot of questions. They were extremely patient, friendly and helpful in recommending drinks. Seriously, the service is top tier. The manager is doing a good job because the workers are genuinely so hospitable. I ended up trying the coffee pudding milk tea. It was so so good. The coffee wasn't too sweet and wasn't too bitter but the pudding balanced it out so well. They recommended the four seasons tea to my friend which I tried and it was so smooth and rich. It was like drinking vanilla cream with a hint of tea. I'm definitely going to get that in the future. We also had the bulldog mousse which I've been seeing go viral on social media. It's cheesecake or chocolate mousse molded into a bulldog with cake inside. It is very real looking and it makes for a great picture. They also have a selection of mochis. I got a strawberry mochi. The outside mochi part was soooo soft and the inside had like a fresh whipped cream with fresh pieces of strawberry. It was so yummy. Just found my go-to boba shop in Seattle! I like how they have a variety of classic drink options as well as more unique drink selections that are rarely seen at other boba shops. I couldn't pass up the classic Black sugar boba with fresh milk and decided to also try their Milk Cream Pineapple. I had no complaints with the Black Sugar boba milk as it tasted like what I would expect from a BSBM. Although I did not make any sweetness adjustments, it didn't turn out overwhelmingly sweet. The boba was cooked perfectly IMO because I love them warm, soft and chewy! The Milk Cream Pineapple was not only delicious but SO pretty!!! It was a nice refreshing drink especially with real pineapple! With a spacious parking lot in front and great customer service to boot, there is no stopping me from coming back next time I'm in town! read more

I thought the pastries were a bit overpriced so I didn't try any but I might do so next time given that their drinks were so good. I got a purple rice yogurt drink - 30% sugar. Super duper good though it's definitely a taste that grows on you. You better like yogurt! Also got an okra lemon tea. I'd add some toppings to this because there wasn't that okra buuuut the taste itself was so unique. I have been on the hunt recently for the best boba places in Seattle, and this place easily takes the top spot so far! The inside is really clean and super calming with the cute decor. Also the service was really good, everyone was super friendly, and our stuff came out pretty quickly, and we got a lot, and it was starting to get very busy right after we ordered. We got a dragonfruit smoothie with boba(which was $10!!), a milk cream mango, strawberry fruit tea, charcoal mille crepe cake, and of course we couldn't leave without a chocolate bull dog mousse! I have been seeing all over social media about this dog mousse, and I've actually been really wanting to try it out. There was actually a lot on the menu, but every single thing looked so good and it was hard to choose what I wanted! I'll definetly have to come back for more. I'll start with the amazing drinks! Everything was super fresh, and you could tell they used real ingredients, and in the mango smoothie there were actually some real mango slices that were super ripe and nice and sweet! The cream in the mango smoothie was also such a nice compliment to the drink, and was super creamy and not too overpowering. Overall, the mango drink was really well done, and one of my favorite mango smoothies ever. Next, was the strawberry fruit tea. The fruit tea was pretty good too, and would be perfect for a hot summer day because it was suler fruity and refreshing! Now, the dragon fruit smoothie that I got with boba! First off, the price really shook me because it was $10, but I would say that it was wortg the price! You do get to keep the cool container, but also the drink was well executioned! The last time I had a dragon fruit drink was in San Francisco, but it was alright, but this one was so good, and so tasty! Everything was perfect and worked together nicely. The cream added a nice creaminess, and kind of evened out the exotic flavors of the dragon fruit and tea. My favorite part though is that the tea wasn't overpowering at all, and so I was really enjoying every sip! Definetly my favorite drink out of all of them, but they were ALL magnificent! I had the desserts later in the night, because I wanted to savor it by themselves. It's really hard to get over how realistic and how amazing the dog mousse looks. I felt kind of bad taking the first bite out of the mousse. Anyways, I did not expect the chocolate mousse to be as good as it was! I thought it was all just the looks, but the flavors were so rich and tasty! The chocolate was so rich and luscious, and the texture was overall very smooth, light, and sort of creamy. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the charcoal crepe cake, but it was still very interesting and unique in texture and taste, and personally I have never had anything charcoal before. One of the newest bubble tea spot in town, and possibly my current favorite! Fruit tea smoothie with milk cream is to die for! I ordered the black sugar boba milk, and the watermelon tea with milk cream. The black sugar boba milk is well balanced - the boba is freshly made, soft with the right amount of chew; the sweetness level without adjustment is perfect. The only downside is that the milk isn't as creamy / fragrant as others. The star of the show is the watermelon tea! It was SO good. I first fell in love with fruit tea smoothie (tea mixed in with fruit and blended into a smoothie) from a shop at the Bay Area. I've been trying to find similar ones here in Seattle, and there are some that I think are pretty close. But, my favorite one is this particular one from Timeless Tea. One of their specials is yellow tea, although I did not find out what this tea is from the staff. The staff offered me a sample and I went with it. I had the black pearl yellow milk tea small size. The recommended half sugar and it turned out to be good. I asked for no ice, but found lots of ice cubes in my drink... Overall the milk tea was good. I'm so ecstatic to have found this wonderful boba place in the U District. I agree with the other reviewers that they are THE best in the area. I ordered the Four Season Milk tea 75% sweet (similar taste profile to Jasmine Milk tea but a little more fragrant (almost roasted tea like?) and it was delicious. I finished the milk tea before making it home! You can taste the tea in the drink without the bitterness. The only thing they messed up on was the toppings. I wanted less grass jelly but they gave me grass jelly and lychee jelly. No complaints on the extra topping! read more

Peach Gum is a traditional Chinese dessert made with peach resin (think thick jelly/soft agar agar), white snow fungus, and red dates. It's a major health food and is rich in collagen! I really wanted to like this spot. It was just ok in my opinion. The tea was really good and the jelly was yummy but there was so much fresh fruit pulp that I could barely get it out. I ended up with about half my drink just being watermelon pulp which it's great they use fresh ingredients but i don't really feel like it was worth the cost. This is a cute place to get Boba. I was very surprised by how big the interior was and clean it looked. Not only does this place sell drinks they also have some small dessert items as well. I'm a durian fan so I had to get a durian mochi, the skin was very soft and the inside was pure durian goodness! They didn't skimp on the durian flavor and also perfectly sweet and creamy. I think the outside mochi was ever so slightly more powdery but that didn't bother me too much. I also got the purple rice yogurt drink as this is not something I've typically seen in other shops. I also love yogurt so I figured why not. This was really a fun drink of you like yogurt. The yogurt was tart and not too sweet, kind of reminds me of Beijing yogurt. And the purple rice gives the drink something to chew on making it a really fun texture. I had a sip of my friends coffee milk tea boba, and the boba was cooked nicely. I think this drink was standard, but again I don't really order coffee milk tea to begin with. Overall I think this is a great joint to get some drinks and dessert.
