We usually get their papaya, stir fry intestines, and raw laab here. Never disappoints. Consistent flavors and delicious.

I'm impressed with interior design of this shop. It's supper cute! This place is pretty good! We've ordered two larb and one raw bitter larb. They give out a good portion size especially for their sticky rice. Their boba tastes really good, I was really surprised. I'd definitely be back to try more of the menu and other varieties of their bobas now that it's pretty close to my parent's house.

I came across this spot after a hair appointment nearby and was so glad to see this area got a Vietnamese place! I tried the Mango Peach slush with lychee jelly and tapioca added and it was GREAT. It was pretty sweet, but very refreshing and light. I also tried the shrimp spring rolls, my favorite order, and thought they were pretty good! The rice noodles were a little overcooked/mushy but the lettuce and shrimp tasted great. Their peanut sauce was just okay though. I will be coming back next time I'm in the area because with a little TLC, I can see Time Pho Boba getting even better!

Revamped pure water. Hmong owned. Food items are now part of the menu with boba. This place is not a bad spot to try out but due to construction and rebuilding, the shop could use a whole new look. You can still refill your water here! Just note that some faucets still aren't working. Take out only and orders can be placed through Doordash, phone call, or in person. It would've been nice to be reminded that it was takeout only because I wanted to try the food fresh. So make sure you pay attention to that. The ambiance needs work, food is good and service is fast and friendly! I ordered the Pho combination plate and the Thai boat. Both were interesting and had their own pros and cons. Pho combination plate was not bad but not great. The broth tasted like most of the broth was canned and it had a canned smell. Although, they did make the broth, it could've been better. When it said 2 shrimp, they really meant 2 shrimp pieces. No tendons and no tripe. I was a bit let down but their garlic chili oil was good. That's as much as I'd like to say. Thai boat was phenomenal. The broth was on point and I'm still in awe how good it tastes. The meat was lacking but the taste was there. I love spicy foods but do not add the chili oil. Chili flakes would've been a better choice. The chili oil changes the taste of the broth which I was bummed about. I did save half of the broth, to be eaten later, so that saved me from sadness. All in all, I come here for the water and raw beef laab but I'll definitely come back to try the boba and other food items. Try it out!

I went to this place two days ago forgot to post a review. I only ordered their papaya salad. It is with the new ownership and the papaya salad came out pretty good. It was crunchy and not soggy or soft. It wasn't salty either and it was a young girl who made my papaya salad. I've had better papaya salads but this place is good. Definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area and is craving papaya salad or just want a quick bite . Although the portion size could be a little bit more. The previous owner definitely made a bigger portion and I'm not sure if the papaya salad always comes with vermicelli noodles because when I opened the box, it was a very little bundle of the noodles as if it was given to a toddler to eat it or something it wasn't like the usual amount of noodles you get at South Area Market. Overall, I'd come back again.

The size portion of their Hmong sausage with sticky rice can't be beat! Delicious, filling, and affordable. You can call in your order ahead of time and come pay when you pick it up. Service is friendly and very fast! Just wish their dine in area was ready, would love to come back when it is.

    4.5/5 Pretty flavorful.

I am bias. I am giving this place a 5/5 because its always fast service and I always come here for my beef raw larb.

    Mangonada

Best mangonada. Go for the mango nada. In a way the mango nada kind of sucks because they seal it and don't use a bubble lid and the candy come separate. The Thai tea is not good. Don't go for Thai tea. It's very plain and with lots of ice. It taste like milk, water, and sugar. The worst thai tea I ever had . My bf drank it. He don't like to waste food so he's drinking it. The papaya salad looks really good and dark but it's very bland..... also the inside is very dim Looks ghetto. Needs more light

This place is so convenient for the neighborhoods! They sale pho, boat noodles, rice plates and boba drinks and papaya salad. I always stop by for food when I don't have time to cook or crave Hmong food. First time getting papaya today and it's a 10/10!!! Satisfied my cravings to death!! I love how they use skinny tiny Kapoon noodles so it's easy to eat along with the papaya. It's sour, spicy and dark sauce! Just 10/10 . The drinks are always good too. My go to is the guava milk tea.

I wish I took pictures of the interior, as it felt so intimate and the seats were comfortable. The food of course, are the stars of the show, and I've never been blown away from how good everything was. The Pad See Ew had a yummy smoky, wok hei flavor that not a lot of places incorporate. The ribeye is cooked perfectly, green curry has a nice coconut sweetness to it. And the laotian sausage, paired with their sauce and sticky rice hits the spot. This place was indeed comforting and my only regret is not trying more items. If you're craving southeast asian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere, I can't recommend this place enough.

Both packed a good amount of heat at the spicy level, which we loved. The Lao sausage was also super flavorful, but as soon as you cut it, the inside does fall apart a bit. It's a personal preference to have a denser sausage. Service was also ok. We found ourselves needing to call over the waitress a couple times, since we were just sitting waiting to order or get a box and check at the end. Flavors are worth coming back for tho.

Of course, I had to get the Korean kimchi, which is spicy but not too spicy. My boyfriend got the coconut broth, and wow, it was so good--sweet but flavorful. It's pristinely clean on the inside and servers checked in on us frequently. The wagyu tastes about what you'd expect from an AYCE format: acceptable and enjoyable. The A5 brisket outshines the beef slices, which is expected based on appearance alone given the brisket's marbled and fatty appearance. However, the less-tender beef slices come in handy if the goal is quantity over quality; the brisket is only served in several thin slices at a time. I tried the New Zealand lamb for variety's sake which also tasted great. Bonus points for serving onion pancakes as a side dish! It's a childhood delicacy for me, and I don't see this offered at most AYCE hot pot establishments. The soup bases could use some work. Not bad by any means, but both the pork bone and fire spicy soups would benefit from a stronger flavor profile. The fire spicy soup seemed particularly diluted which decreased the overall savoriness of the buffet ingredients. Pros: AYCE wagyu at an affordable price, typical range of buffet ingredients, very clean, attentive servers. Cons: smaller pot sizes, broth flavor could be stronger. Yes to returning.

On my latest visit it was a very busy Sunday, but I was able to place an order for take-out and then wait in my car for the order to be ready. I ended up ordering the pork steamed rice noodle roll, the beef and cilantro steamed rice noodle roll, the garlic long beans, and the beef and mixed mushrooms. I saw a couple of other Elites dining in when I was ordering, but it was so busy I couldn't properly say hi, so "HI DAVID AND EVA!" I'll have to keep an eye out for their next review, because whatever they had looked delish! I waited in the car for a bit and then when the order still needed a few more minutes I popped into the dollar store next door to kill a bit more time. Before I knew it my order was ready to go. They packed everything really nicely and we served it up as soon as we got home. Their rice noodle rolls are so flavorful and I love the sweet, salty and savory sauce that comes with it. The noodles are really filling, and the dishes we got would be enough food for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. We ate the rice rolls right away and then had leftover green beans and beef and mushrooms for lunch today. The green beans were fresh and had a great garlic flavor, without it being too much. The Beef and Mushrooms was great, the beef was tender and flavorful and the mushrooms soaked up all the sauce. There were also green beans in this dish, which was a perfect addition. I really need to dine in soon for the full experience, but take-out has always been a win for me.

We decided to try a little bit of everything and here is what we ordered: hot and sour soup, potstickers, spicy cucumbers, BBQ pork, BBQ pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, and honey walnut shrimp. The food came out fast and piping hot. Pretty soon our entire table was covered with dishes. We started with the hot and sour soup, which we both felt was lacking in the flavor department. It didn't have that spicy tang that you look for when you order hot and sour soup. The potstickers were fried crispy, but the dough was a little too thick. The spicy cucumbers had no flavor to them at all. And the honey walnut shrimp was not memorable. We both felt that the two best dishes were the BBQ pork fried rice and the Mongolian beef. The beef was tender and had good flavor. The prices were extremely fair and the portions were large, but all in all this was not my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

Thai time Owner and…read moreRecipe Wizard Thammasorn Lau has created something that feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home -- assuming that someone's home happens to have amazing Thai chefs, incredible spices, and food that makes you immediately start planning your next visit before you're even done eating. We did our best "research project" and ordered everything our table could justify: Thai iced coffee, coconut canopy salad, pad see ew and pad Thai with pork belly, sunset curry with tilapia, and mango sticky rice with ice cream. For science, obviously. Thai Time should put a warning label on their Thai iced coffee. One sip through each layer and the conversation stopped. We woke up. The taste buds clocked in for work. The brain sent out the announcement: "Cancel all distractions -- apparently dinner has plans for us." Good thing we listened. Thammasorn then proceeded to take us on a full Thai flavor adventure. This wasn't just dinner. This was a carefully organized attack on our ability to say, "No thanks, I'm full." The coconut canopy salad started fresh and bright, the noodles brought the comfort, the pork belly brought the celebration, the sunset curry with tilapia brought the "wait, everyone try this" moment. And the mango sticky rice with ice cream showed up at the end like a victory parade. I always read the bad reviews because I'm fascinated by the rare human ability to find sadness while surrounded by curry, noodles, and people being nice to you. They are to be safely ignored. Our experience? Five stars out of 10. Beautiful flavors, warm service, and that special energy you only get when the people behind a place actually care. Thank you, Thammasorn and Thai Time. Sacramento is lucky to have you.
