They also changed the tv area, in the main entrance, to look like the windows of an airplane instead of playing destinations on the screen, which I LOVED, because it enabled me to see sky views of places I have never and may never visit. They were playing soccer, which I understand, because the world is watching the World Cup. One of my favorite things was the hot, moist hand towels given at the beginning of your meal. I LOVED it. I thought it was so elegant and sopisticated. I am not a fan of washing my hands and then eating from a public restaurant, touch on the door to enter and exit. Now they provide the hand towels at the end of your meal, but this is fine dining, I am not using my hands to eat, and I have a napkin, if needed. So, I would prefer to cleanse my hands at the beginning of my meal. I sat in the newly renovated area which looked like the inside of an airplane. Sooooooooo, DOPE!!! It was BEAUTIFULY done! Felt FIRST CLASS, all the way. The furniture was AMAZING and looked elegant and high class. Some things on the menu had changed, but that is to be expected. My meal was delicious. I loved the free glass of champagne with my 1/2 dozen order of Oysters, which were scrumptious. They also updated their front patio, where after my meal I enjoyed a cigar. Plenty of seating. Every table is covered by HUGE umbrellas. What I thought was cute and unique, when I had finished my meal and paid my bill, I was given a token. There are gift machines inside and on the patio. I really wanted the Unicorn key chain, which I did not win, but I thought it was a nice touch for the kids and the kids at heart with adult wallets. Lol.

Eventually, I had to go find her and ask for the check, which is something I've never had to do at a restaurant before. From the moment you walked in, the vibes were always on point--good music, great energy, and a crowd that just made you feel like you were part of something. The staff were always welcoming and attentive, and the food never missed. Everything about Z-Town just hit right. It's devastating to hear about the unfortunate event that led to their closure. My heart goes out to everyone affected. RIP to those who lost their lives--sending prayers, love, and strength to their families, friends, and the entire Z-Town crew during this incredibly difficult time. Z-Town was more than just a spot to eat and drink--it was a place where memories were made. I'm grateful I got to experience it. Hoping one day something can rise again in its place. The delicious yet fiery tteokbokki had nice chewy rice cakes, flat fish cakes, and a couple of seaweed wrapped japchae bundles. The scallions, onions in hot pepper sauce, and melty mozzarella cheese were delightful Seating was nice and open and the simple wood tables and chairs were nice and felt homely too. The tempura came out and it was really good and light, I like that it wasn't oily! The galbi came with the small dishes of fish cake, kimchi and cucumber. It was really good. The galbi was nice and tender with little charred pieces, on a bed of sweet onion on a sizzling plate. We cleared everything. It was delicious. We will be coming back for mom and son dates.
