Not the best poke I've had but not the worst. Really pricey for standard bowls. The plus side is that the toppings are unlimited so you can choose as many as you want. It was definitely a LOADED bowl for what I got and this was the first place I've been to that actually weighs the amount of fish they put into it. Plus side is there's not too many poke places around town so I would recommend coming here if you're craving poke. Just be prepared to pay the prices. Inside was very clean and had a few tables to sit at.

Hokee Pokee had their grand reopening yesterday! The outside was decorated with cute balloons and they have a pretty wall for pictures! I visited during lunch at around 12PM and it was busy. I was surprised to see that they were giving 50% off each regular poke bowl, which is why it was so popular that afternoon. I am glad there was a limit to 1 bowl per person because more people can get a change to enjoy the food and not hold up the line with a big order that takes advantage of the deal. The line was almost out the door, but it moved fast because they were well prepared with lots of great, friendly workers. The portions are okay and the fish looked fresh! I should have gotten the spicy salmon and Hawaiian tuna because the seasonings looked delicious and I watched as they restocked it. Since I already said triple scoops of regular salmon and didn't want to mess with the employee's work flow, I decided to stick with my decision. They use an ice cream scooper for the proteins. When the worker was scooping the fish, I noticed sometimes that they did not do full scoops. I'm not the type of person to say anything about it and will take what I can get. They give a good amount of sauce with their pump dispenser. I got ponzu and original shoyu. I heard from the person in front of me that it will cost extra for a third one. For my additional toppings I got edamame, crab salad, masago, cucumber, onions, mac salad, and dried seaweed. The rice was very hot and I feel like I can taste rice vinegar, but I'm not too sure if the acidity is from the ponzu sauce. Overall, the food was pretty good after I mixed everything in. It would have been even better with more salmon, because near the end of the meal all I had was some rice with sauce.

Came here for late lunch with my cousin wanting to explore some new places and it was good! I wouldn't say it's the best poke you could get but I would come back if I was in the area. It seemed a little pricey to me compared to other spots in the greater Sacramento area, but the fish was fresh and tastes good. I had tried the spicy tuna and it wasn't too spicy but had a nice kick. The restaurant was clean and staff were nice. We sat outside since the weather was good.

Atmosphere is cozy and warm, have a photobooth section where you can check in as well ! A lot of FRESH topping for only $35, we have to split it out 2 meals, service is nice, the new owner, Kenneth and his staff are really friendly and passionate about this business. The remake is real and I wish them the best. Highly recommend !

It's hit or miss. It's not a cheap meal so I would have certain expectations but today I had a regular bowl and the rice was old and dried up. Couldn't even chew. Wasted $20

Aunt was craving for some poke after a long road trip. Found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. It was a very quiet evening, but that just means no line. I had to order for everyone since they don't know what they want, 3 regulars. The fish looked fresh and the staff were very patient with our orders as they were preparing for online orders as well. Overall, it wasn't bad. If I were to do it again, I'd have them put less sauce. I was overwhelmed and eventually became too salty for my taste. The fam thought so as well. The ratio between what was given and the price, I thought it was a bit too much - from what I'm used to in LA or Hawaii. $76 for 3 regulars. We could get a nice Chinese family dinner at a restaurant. So this is a one time thing for us.

50% off reg poke bowl at grand re-opening

Been going here for years until one day I showed up and there was a sign on the door that said it was reopening soon under new managment. Nothing on any socials that I could find mentioned it and no hours were updated but I was willing to excuse that. The resturant has a more modern vibe to it now which made me a little sad but still no bid deal. However when i got the 50% poke bowl today at grand reopening I wasn't impressed. They used to measure their fish scoops with a scale. Now they dont and I got way less fish than i'm normally used to. Got maybe 9 edamame beans, hard nearly inedible avocado, and a couple bites of seaweed. On top of that their soda machine is still out of order, and the bottled sodas they have aren't cold either so I had to ask for a cup for ice. The rice and fish tasted alright but the shrimp they use now is tiny comparatively. They also removed yellowtail from the menu. Also kinda sad that they dont seperate the ingredients in the bowl like they used to. I think the old method gave for a nicer eating experience and presentation. Overall its just very different from the hokee poke I used to love and it didnt feel like they were grand opening ready. Ill probably swing by again in a few months to see if anything has improved.

Was feeling adventurous today and decided to try a new spot. Can't believe no one told me about Hokee Pokee! I got the large Ahi bowl with edamame, cucumbers, crab salad, habanero masago with spicy mayo and wasabi breeze. The flavors were wild to say the least! Generous portions! The staff was friendly and relaxed. He explained the process to us very well. The environment is very chill. Also ordered spicy poke nachos to go for the wifey. Can't wait to go back.

Been my poke place all throughout high school and after living in Socal for college, Hokee Poke is still good! I was actually blown away by the price tho...Not even any of the poke places I tried in LA past $20 phew. Serving size filled me and that's another plus!

Ordered the 1 lb of Poke, but they don't really give you an actual 1 pound

The sauce in the skillet was not too heavy or sweet. It had a nice balanced flavor. All the different foods that came on the skillet were good. The meatball was a tad sweet for me. The baguette was warm and crispy. So good. Very good dish and one of the better ones I've had. Grilled rib eye rice combo: 5/5. I could be wrong, but I thought the beef had a slight lemongrass flavor that I love. The meat was tender. We got the garlic rice with it and it definitely elevates the flavors. Would recommend trying it with the garlic rice Egg rolls: 5/5. Came out nice and hot and crispy. The flavor is on the lighter side, but I thought it was flavorful enough. It also comes with fish sauce to dip in for more flavor and it was really good with that as well. Our boys love egg rolls and they approved. lol Kids noodle soup/pho: 4/5. Generous portion for the kids to share. They keep it simple for the kids. Just rice noodles and sliced beef. You can also add on meatballs, but we didn't since our boys don't always eat the meatballs. The pho broth was decent. The boys enjoyed it. I don't know if I would get a big bowl for myself. I ordered two main courses: Black Truffle Pasta: A wonderful, rich dish execution that was incredibly satisfying. Given the premium pricing, the shrimp were a bit underwhelming in size. Another dish, Golden Nest Black Pepper Steak, was absolutely outstanding. This was the star of the night. It came in a very generous portion with a stunning presentation. Flavor-wise, it features a phenomenal, distinct, smoky wok hei (breath of the wok) flavor that truly elevated the meat. Their beautiful interior design sets a refined, upscale tone. It is chic, elegant, and perfectly suited for a celebratory evening. The service matches the decor--attentive, polished, and professional throughout the night. As an added and highly appreciated bonus, they offer free parking, which eliminates the usual fine-dining hassle right out of the gate. The only real drawback here is the price tag. At $33 for a Chinese dish, it feels quite pricey for the Sacramento area, especially before receiving any official Michelin recognition. Because of the pricing, Sky Port isn't a spot for casual, daily dining. However, the gorgeous ambiance, stellar service, and standout flavors make it an excellent choice for a date night or a memorable special occasion.

The staff was super friendly and helped me make some decisions for my order and recommended the umami udon special, which I'm so happy about. The food was made fresh and took a little bit, but was packed with care and was nice and hot. I took it home to enjoy and the food was still hot and the portion sizes were really generous. The Umami Udon was amazing, it had perfectly cooked udon noodles that had a great chew in a creamy teriyaki sauce with smokey bacon, mushrooms, onions and garlic. On this particular visit we started with 2 different sushi tacos-We had the tuna version and the salmon version-each priced at $11.00. Now I could write a novel explaining the virtues of these culinary creations but I will keep it short-the tuna and the salmon tacos are such the perfect bite-well balanced-well seasoned-surprisingly heavy in the hand while being light to the taste-it's truly been my favorite new food item discovery of 2026. Next we went with the Stir-Fry Udon and this cost us $16.00. I've described this dish in the past as a dish I could eat every day of my life and would be a very happy person. The flavor and seasonings are flawless, the noodles are cooked perfectly, great chew-a very slurpable noodle for sure. I can easily see why this dish is such a popular item on their menu. This restaurant was given a spot on Yelps Top 100 Places to eat in 2025-nothing in this visit did a thing to show that honor wasn't well deserved. In closing-I don't know if I could recommend this spot any higher and I plan many future visits whenever I want to show people how amazing the culinary experience in Sacramento has truly become. 10/10 experience.
