These guys are quite courteous. This is my (quasi-new) spot for oil changes and inspections.

Don't get me started on them!! Hubby almost lost his engine because they tightened the drain plug…read moretoo tight and stripped the threads. Luckily he got his check engine light notice right next to crows automotive repair shop. Pulled right in. Crows said there was 0 oil in the engine, so he put in a new drain plug and put in new oil. It works fine. But with labor it was 186$ So hubby asked if their was an oil spot where he parks in our driveway. Sure enough. We never noticed. He contacted Valvoline and filed a dispute. They said they aren't liable for it because they said he should have taken it up there before he decided for a mechanic to look at it. So Valvoline wanted hubby to tow it up there. Ha! I doubt they'd even reimburse for that.. So all in all they denied everything and won't reimburse us. This isn't the 1st time. A year ago I lost my engine under carriage going down the highway. Turns out only 3 of 10 bolts were put in when Valvoline changed the oil. Read the fine print and it says they aren't liable for this. So I paid 100$ for a new under carriage and never went back. We thought we'd be good since the 2010 f150's have no under carriage then the oil plug thing happened. So yeah we will never ever ever go back to Valvoline. And PSA.. this is the Valvoline on the Spur next to the window tinting place.

Valvoline has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. The first store that I went to…read morefor an inspection told me that the person that does their inspections was getting ready to leave early and was not willing to do the inspection at 2 pm. They also told me that there was no one else trained to do inspections. The next place that I went to broke my tail light by using a drill to tighten down a screw on a plastic light fixture in front of my eyes and proceeded to tell me that it was already that way. The store manager decided to take the side of the employee and told me that they have it on camera showing that he did not do the damage. So I requested to review this camera footage and when we reviewed the camera footage together there was no camera footage that even faced towards the back of the vehicle. The store manager then told me that there was nothing that he could do about it and said that I need to pay him for their services. I told him that I would not pay for the services until the light was fixed. He told me that they would not be fixing the light and if I refuse to pay for the service then they would call the cops. So the cops show up and we both gave our side of the story and the cops said this is a civil matter and they could not do anything for either of us. During this time I told them that I would be happy to pay for the services once my light was fixed. After the store manager talked to the area manager they final agreed to replace the light. At after a short time the area manager shows up and starts asking me questions about the problem and I told him everything that happened. He told me that he didn't believe me and said that he didn't like the fact that I would accuse his guys of lying. From that point he said that they were going to replace the light but I was no longer welcome back and he didn't want my future business. I told him that this was crazy, I have been doing business with them for years and I have church friends that work in several of their businesses in my local area. The area manager then decided to inspect the light fixture and said that he sees dirt in the crack and he know that it was already like that, I told him that there is a lot of dirt around the fixture and even some in the fixture and his guy was also handling the fixture. He told me that his guys would not shove mud in the crack and stormed off yelling to his entire shop, " IT WAS ALREADY LIKE THAT I SEE DIRT IN THE CRACK". I followed behind him and told him that this has to be the worst customer service that I have ever had. He said that they will call me when the light came in, I told asked him if I could get something in writing showing stating that they would be replacing the light. He then got upset and said so you are accusing me of lying to you now. I said no, I need something showing this to just have proof when I come back up here. So he took my service receipt and noted that they would be replacing my light fixture. I told him that if it would be easier for them I would be willing to install it my self when they get it in so they would not have to worry any additional accidents. He said that would be fine with him. A week later the light comes in and I proceed up there with my own screw driver in hand. When I arrived there I asked the same store manager if they will be installing the light or if they would like me to install the light. He said that the agreement was for me to and they are not going to be able to help in any way. He handed me the light fixture and I noticed that this was an old one that they must have gotten from a junk yard or something. I didn't say anything because it did not appear to have any damage but was a little cloudy and sun faded. I asked the store manager if he would mind watching me install it and make sure that it worked properly so there would be no false assumptions. He kindly agreed to do so, as I was removing the old one I struggled to turn the light fixture loose from the bulb. I asked if I could borrow some pliers and he said no he was not allowed to help me in anyway. I was a little mind blown from this commit but not entirely surprised. After struggling for some time I finally got it changed and it worked just fine with no problems. I hate that it ended up this way and being banned for something that the workers lied about doing is crazy. What ever happened to good customer service in our country. I know that there are people that try and take advantage of companies, but the fact that I have been coming to them for years with no complaints or problems should have been considered before telling me that they don't need or want my business.
