Verdict : I will be back for services, but maybe not for an oil change :)…read more They are very nice and prompt here at this location (Gilmer road beside Subway). I came here the first time because something under my car was dragging. He told me what the issue was, and removed it for free. He was very informative about it as well. Since then, I went back to get an oil change, because they helped me out with that first issue. They did a good job on it, but it was very expensive for me (I believe around $70ish). Also, he tested my battery and told me that I needed a new one, and wanted to sell me one. The print out even showed my battery wasn't the greatest. I declined, anyway . Later on, I went to 1) Autozone and 2) O'reily. Both told me there was no need for a battery. Everything tested out fine. So I saved $100+ I don't know what was going on with that machine they have here. Just get a second opinion before purchasing a battery. (I always do. Daddy taught me that) Now I am here getting my car inspected. $7. They're wait time wasn't as long as the other places I have been to today, and thank God for it !

Don't get me started on them!! Hubby almost lost his engine because they tightened the drain plug…read moretoo tight and stripped the threads. Luckily he got his check engine light notice right next to crows automotive repair shop. Pulled right in. Crows said there was 0 oil in the engine, so he put in a new drain plug and put in new oil. It works fine. But with labor it was 186$ So hubby asked if their was an oil spot where he parks in our driveway. Sure enough. We never noticed. He contacted Valvoline and filed a dispute. They said they aren't liable for it because they said he should have taken it up there before he decided for a mechanic to look at it. So Valvoline wanted hubby to tow it up there. Ha! I doubt they'd even reimburse for that.. So all in all they denied everything and won't reimburse us. This isn't the 1st time. A year ago I lost my engine under carriage going down the highway. Turns out only 3 of 10 bolts were put in when Valvoline changed the oil. Read the fine print and it says they aren't liable for this. So I paid 100$ for a new under carriage and never went back. We thought we'd be good since the 2010 f150's have no under carriage then the oil plug thing happened. So yeah we will never ever ever go back to Valvoline. And PSA.. this is the Valvoline on the Spur next to the window tinting place.
