We have an older Hyundai suv, it stayed over a week because we were out of town, but while it was there they told us the motor was blown but not only that they looked up that our car has a warranty on it, due to other vehicles having this same issue, so they saved us so much money since we were not under this acknowledgment. They jumped on it and helped us even though it was almost closing time. They would have been well within their right to shelve it until the next day, and draw it out and turn it into an expensive fix, but instead they spent about an hour helping me right from the parking lot, and refused to charge me or even accept a tip. This was such a major help as not only could it have been expense and inconvenient, but we are going through a very difficult time, and they helped as though they were family friends. May God repay these guys and bless them for being angels to my family as we were stuck out of town.

Let me know what was going to happen and when and finished ahead of schedule. Very polite and awesome staff here. The work performed looks perfect. Can't complain about a thing. I hope I never have to be a customer again but if I need a body shop this will be it. Edit: Found a minor issue about a month after I received my vehicle back. Simple oversight but needed to be corrected. I called and figured I would get nowhere with the issue. I was very much wrong as I have never seen a company who went above and beyond to make a customer satisfied/happy as Autobody Express did for me. I expected to meet resistance on it and they just took care of me, no questions asked. I will always use them should I need body work done again and I recommend them to anybody. It is so nice to deal with a business that has integrity and really puts their customers first. Thank you.

Avoid if you value torque specs: I Took my car to Tidwell recently to have my wheels balanced and…read moredespite me leaving notes above the wheel arches specifying the lug nut torque spec (85lb-ft) and specifically asking the front desk to torque the nuts to spec. When I attempted to remove them a couple days later they were incredibly tight, and I ended up grabbing my torque wrench to see what it took to remove them - and every lug nut maxed out my wrench at over 190lb-ft... would be frustrating to have this happen from a cheap shop, but especially from a "premium" one like Tidwell. But that's not all. I then spent a few weeks (and a little over $1000) chasing down a cyclical tapping noise from somewhere in the driveline only to eventually have a shop discover that the wheel weights used were installed poorly because they didn't fit the rim profile correctly and were rattling about at certain speeds. They said the wheel weights should have been the stick on kind and not the clips for the rim shape. Worth mentioning that I had requested stick in weights because I prefer those anyway, but was told they didn't have any. I've used Tidwell before a few times and they're more expensive than most, so I thought I would be getting better service. This wasn't the only time they over torqued my lugs but it was the most extreme, and it will certainly be the last. I almost didn't bother with making this review, but discovering they botched the wheel weights was too much.
