We bought 4 new tires a few months ago at Firestone in Longview. Our mechanic was replacing our pads and rotors today, and on the rear passenger wheel, 3 of the lug nuts were seized and snapped off while attempting removal. In 50+ years of changing tires, I have never seen such an issue. Whoever it was at Firestone must have put on these lug nuts so tight that it caused them to seize on the threads. As a result, more expense for us. This is far from the first issue we have had with these "technicians" at Firestone Longview. They are careless clowns. read more

Service was amazing Tyler really made me feel comfortable while also making sure I left with what I needed, even though I showed up 4:30pm (Mind you they close at 5:00pm) and to top it off I left my wallet back home so had to drive back home n back so now it's 5:07pm and Tyler was still calm & collective never bothered him that he was about to be off in a couple minutes on a Sunday afternoon, I don't know about you but I know 99% of everyone of you would've said no sorry come back tomorrow but Tyler said give me a minute let me make a phone call......... then said I got you. I scheduled and Appointment for this morning, realizing I wouldn't be able to make that appointment I rescheduled it with enough time. (For reference my appointment was at 9am and switched it to 1 pm) I got a call for my original appointment saying "just bring the car and drop it off" to which i replied I wouldn't be able to do so and I also live 40+ minutes away. He then talked to me in a degrading tone saying "I wouldn't have time for that, this is why I'm calling you" I told him to cancel the appointment. I understand your busy and frustrated but there's no reason to be rude and disrespectful. And Lewis is the person I spoke too. I came inside and told me he was the person who spoke to me on the phone,(while he was on the phone playing games) and then told me again they couldn't take me but he could take the man behind me. read more

I'm not sure if anyone else has had issues with Firestone in Longview.... but they can bite me. We usually use either Discount Tire or Big 5. We've had GREAT experience with both before. But neither were open yesterday afternoon. I picked up a nail in one of my back tires. I needed it fixed yesterday bc my son uses my car M-F to drive to school. So we pulled up to Firestone yesterday around 3ish. Inside office guy was rude. Just a crappy first impression. All the bays were open except for one. One car was being worked on. He told us it was going to be awhile (like 1-1.5 hours). It was dead there but fine, whatever. We get a call over an hour later saying they could not patch it. We just needed a new tire. He had one for $235. LMAO...'scuse me? A tire for my car is about 150 for a good one. We asked him to just air it up - we'd just come grab it. He hung up on us. I was trying not to lose my Jesus. My fiance talked to the mechanic - who was very nice. He'd aired up all my tires for me. My fiance told him what the toolbag on the phone had said about the only tire they had was for $235. Mechanic just looked at my fiance like he couldn't believe what he'd just heard. Took it to Big 5 this morning. Guy looked at my tire and said it would be no issue at all to just fix my tire. $15. When we are ready for tires, they have MUCH more affordable tires. And they are nice. Took no time at all to fix & they were slammed. read more

I made an appointment for a complete inspection, as well as a state inspection. My vehicle was in a stall five minutes after my appointment time. The waiting air was clean and comfortable (the chairs were comfortable, the temperature was comfortable, etc.) The mechanics did the inspection and made recommendations. I was given the option to get any, some, or none, done. The receptionist was measured and polite. read more

Insanely priced. Labor and parts were outrageous. Replacing a coil pack shouldn't cost $357. The most expensive coil pack I found was $105. I have no idea where they got $285 a coil pack. read more

Car wouldn't start after heavy rainfall on a Sunday. Firestone is the only place open and we could have waited until Monday, but the reviews were so good, we went ahead and had it towed to them. Granted, it arrived in the afternoon but we didn't even hear from them until Monday anyway. First call, they say they can't find anything wrong with electric ($29 diagnostic fee), do we want to do a full diagnostic for $99. At this point, they fail to mention that our car is starting up just fine every time they try. We say go ahead thinking there is still a problem and a non starting car. They again find nothing wrong but suggest it may be the spark plugs and suggest we get them cleaned and replaced for $500+. We decline and owe them for a $99 computerized diagnostic for a car that's working. They didn't even offer to at least include cleaning the plugs. When we pick up the car they say, "estimated cost of repairs is $1,186. Would you like to take care of that today?" Many reviews have noted that this Firestone doesn't act like a typical big national chain store. In our experience, they totally fit the bill. Wish we had waited for Monday and gone to our regular mechanic instead. read more

WARNING!!!!!!!Before you go to this Firestone on Judson Road in Longview,Texas READ THIS!!!!!! My sister a DISABLED vet had the thermostat replaced her 2005 Dodge Ram at the Firestone on Judson Rd in Longview Texas and they charged her $96 .00 for a $40 thermostat ($40 is retail according to the parts store) and then they charged another $180.00 to install it and if it's not bad enough they charges another $80+to diagnose usually a business doesn't charge a diagnostic fee if they do the work but they did ! Went back to find out why they charged extravagant prices for the work they do and the person behind the counter whined and said we charge what the computer figures in the matrix. Took truck in for AC diag and repair. $325 later still not working and was told "You need a $400 control part but probably should get your turbo looked at first.. it sounds horrible" Talk about diversion tactics... turbo is fine, AC is not...taking it elsewhere and won't be back. read more

Absolutely flabbergasted by the rude treatment today at the Judson store. I was told by a technician at Valvoline that I needed my tire plugged because there was a nail in it. He recommended i go over to Firestone. Since i have had work done there before, i went right over. I was met by a nice guy (I think Jason?) who checked me in. Only one other person was there so i assumed it wouldn't take long. After 25 minutes, a tall, thin dark haired man came out and said, sorry, its unrepairable. It'll have to be replaced. I wuestioned that because of what the guy at Valvoline had said. He rudely said "well, you can take it over there and see if they will do it at Valvoline." I replied that I couldn't do that there but i sure wasn't staying here and that he was rude and his customer service needed a lot of improvement. I went to another tire place and they did it for 15$ instead of the $23 i was wuoted at Firestone. C'mon. You can do better! )2 stars for the first guy) read more

I have used this Firestone location multiple times and highly recommend them. I drive almost 1000 miles a week for work, so I need dependable maintenance. I am not a car person at all- I want to go from point A to B and add gas when needed. Otherwise, I want a mechanic to maintain my car (just like I take my pets to a vet, I take my car to a mechanic). I have always been treated respectfully and courteously. When I need an explanation of what needs to be done, or have requested them to look at something, they have always been willing to do so. They present options for repairs and maintenance and have been upfront with costs. My tip is if I am in a time crunch, I have called ahead and made an appt, or dropped my car off so I don't have to wait. My only "complaint" is the lobby is rather stark and not the most welcoming space. Needs a make over with a woman's touch! read more

The other store sold me a bad tire and it had a knot before i got home so i came to this store and the A-hole at the counter said "i have nothing to gain by helping you" he didnt even look at the tire or offer anytype of resolve. Since it wasnt his problem he dismissed me and said good luck!! Firestone is notorious for bad service and bad repairs! We are senior citizens and was having car problems, took it to Firestone on Judson Rd. They found it was the alternator and the total Bill came to $679.96. This was for an alternator and 2 wiper blades. I believe this is called a rip off. I do not recommend using them read more

Walked in for inspection and like previous review 2-3 bays empty and was told it would take 45 minutes before anyone could get to my vehicle. Decided to wait the 45 minutes out and shortly after an elderly couple came in for a tire that is leaking air. The guy behind the counter (assumed to be in charge) was very rude to the elderly couple and told them their wait time would be over 2 hours. When the elderly gentleman asked for a rotation and alignment the guy in charge snapped at him and told him he couldn't do it today that they would need to come back tomorrow and that his alignment machine was booked all day. Again 2-3 bays empty really nothing in the parking lot. We all have bad days but don't take it out on the customers especially the elderly. First and last time every using Firestone for any vehicle service needs. Also referred customer to a different tire shop that would better serve their needs with better customer service. read more

I usually hate using big automotive chain stores. Firestone has always done right by me. They can do about anything related with your car, plus you can find coupons online to bring their prices down. We usually drop our car off and they will call you to tell you what is wrong and how much it will be. They dont just fix it without your permission. You can make appointments. Haven't had a problem with their work. Use their credit card and you get 90 days to pay without interest. Big plus. read more

Good group of honest guys. Great service and honest people! I went in because there was a grinding sound when I applied the brakes. Figured I needed brake pads. Was going to Dallas and was going to take it to the dealership. Made appt with dealership that was going to charge around 350 for front and 350 for back brake pads. Wife suggested Firestone. Long story short I needed back rotors(my fault waited til I heard grinding) and brake pads on front and back. With service lube package. Got out for total of 380. Would have been over 1000 at dealer with rotors and lube. Did same day service on infinity ex35j. Runs like a charm and the crew was great. What impressed me is at first they said we're thinking you'll need replacement of all four rotors and pads, estimated just under 600. Called soon thereafter, and explained that it wasn't as bad as they expected and price would be under 300. I oped for additional service which came out to 380. Far below what I expected!! Now have brake pads with lifetime warranty. Only have to pay for labor. With additional package I don't even have to pay labor if it's within 24 months. Great! Thanks Firestone crew! read more
