I am so incredibly impressed with Justin and the team at Automotive Super Center on loop 281. My car had been pulling to the right & I came in thinking I needed just an alignment & tires rotated. Butt in fact, I needed 2 new tires pretty bad bad. Two tires were at a 2 and one at a 3. Justin did not pressure me into getting all 3 but advised I get it soon. I went ahead and did all 3 tires. The waiting area was actually really nice. There were coffee and snacks. Also had a tv with all access to any streaming services & WiFi so I could work while waiting. The staff was very kind & professional and my car drove so much smoother after I left! I know there are a TON of automotive shops around to chose from but I highly, highly recommend Automotive Super Center. Their service, truthful, quick, and quality work. I used to think incredibly highly of Automotive Super Center in Kilgore. I trusted them with my vehicle, my safety, and my hard-earned money. But after my recent experiences, I have never felt so gaslit, dismissed, and taken advantage of by a repair facility in my life. This isn't a casual complaint; this is a public appeal to corporate management regarding an escalating chain of mechanical installation errors and a complete breakdown of customer respect. In March of this year, my vehicle was brought to this shop under an insurance claim for a complete engine assembly replacement. The final bill for that single job was a massive $5,579.40 (Invoice 10039764). To complete an engine swap of that magnitude, the technicians were required to physically separate my engine block from my transmission and handle the torque converter and flexplate. Exactly two weeks later, on March 20 (Invoice 10054583), I was charged another $1,952.84 to replace the catalytic converter and exhaust manifold--a component they had completely detached just days prior during the engine swap, raising serious questions about overlapping labor charges and missed diagnoses. By May 12 (Work Order W0179575), my car was right back in their shop. The transmission was completely out of fluid because the torque converter seal was leaking. The shop blamed "age and wear," completely ignoring the reality that this delicate seal sits exactly where they unbolted the engine from the transmission in March. Running a transmission bone-dry causes extreme internal heat, physical binding, and severe shifting vibrations. Now, in July, my car is sitting there yet again with a cracked flexplate (Work Order W0350139) and a $2,676.28 estimate. The flexplate is the literal metal disc connecting the engine to the torque converter. Combining an old flexplate transferred during the engine swap with the violent mechanical stress of a dry transmission in May is a textbook formula for a metal fracture. Altogether, over $9,600 has been funneled into this shop for a single vehicle drivetrain area since March. Instead of looking at this documentable chain reaction of cascading labor failures, the staff has treated me like I am the problem. To my face, they acted like they weren't trying to blame me for the new damages, but behind my back, they were explicitly telling the insurance company it was my fault. Worse, I have had to fight tooth and nail the entire time my car has been here just to get my own paperwork. The staff repeatedly claimed they couldn't send the Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) reports, claimed they didn't have access to them, or claimed they hadn't generated them yet. However, the system timestamps and actual facts have proven otherwise. I now have every single DVI inspection report in my possession, and the data inside them tells the true story. They have indirectly called me a liar, gaslit me about my vehicle's mechanical history, and treated linked issues as completely random events. I am publicly calling on Automotive Super Center's corporate leadership to step in and review this case. I expect corporate to honor their repair warranty, acknowledge the installation oversight, and cover the cost of this flexplate repair and the check engine light that reads "exhaust and emissions system" that they still have not addressed after multiple times of being asked to do so. read more

They tried to change me $2,000 to replace my water pump and timing belt. I brought it in for an oil leak! I only authorized it for a water pump replacement. Now my car stalls. It wasn't the timing belt. I had that replaced 10 months ago and I don't drive it as much...50 miles a month max! read more

had a flat fixed in henderson, 2 days TPM showed same tire with low pressure, went back to shop and was told TPM needed to be replaced at acost of 90.00 dollars, went ro another shop,they found that the TPM had been broken.have purchased 5 sets of tires from them,iam finished with them!!!! gaylord smith read more

Will not use this shop for anything again. After two miserable experiences my family is done with this local shop. They are very expensive and generally your bill is way over the "quoted" price. They charge a premium on parts and labor is over billed. read more

This shop replaced a starter for me. They charged $125 labor - that's 90 min of labor, when it should have been about 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour for that job . In addition. they upcharged the part by over 32% . That s a steep upcharge. They bought a starter from ABC for $142, and charged me $207. I understand the shop has to make a profit, but this is a pretty large profit. They suggested i needed a flywheel. Estimate was $650 for flywheel replacement alone. ( no seals included in that price. ) . I went to JJ Transmission in Gladewater, who said i didn't even need the flywheel, and his price would only have been $515 for the flywheel , and included the front and rear main seal. Go to Longview auto repair on fredonia, and get a better price and just as good a service. Also, check out JJ transmission in gladewater, for another honest and reasonable mechanic. read more
