Went in last night and while service was fine, my food and drink were lousy. My nachos were terrible with thin chips that broke when you tried to pick them up, watery toppings, and the worst, thinnest, straight out of a can "cheese" sauce to ever give me the sour belches. And my drinks had to be just mixer because even when calling my booze, that cranberry juice was deep, dark red and I tasted no alcohol whatsoever. I even had others try it and they agreed and told me to take it back. I had a friend there who's a former bartender and they told me it tasted like they watered the Titos to save cash and with the cranberry its undetectable. I'll stick to beer next time. I know some of the previous reviews of this place have been one stars but my experience was different. Plenty of TVs to watch any game or event, in fact, when we asked the bartender if they could change a channel it was done without any problem. Started off with nachos which were really good. I would prefer more chips served with it since the toppings were plentiful. Service was great and the two bartenders we dealt with were very nice even though they were busy. I had a club sandwich which might be the best I have had in Bend. Overall, cool place, nice experience. Maybe the business has come around after some earlier lousy reviews. read more

We ate at Timbers last night, 11/11/25. The so-called loaded potato soup was very watery and cold. I got maybe one small potato in the loaded potato soup. The service I don't even know what to say about that. The girl did not provide good service. She did not acknowledge me other than I would have to say something to her directly to have her acknowledge me then she would look. at my husband and acknowledging everything he said and would look to him for my responses to her questions. We have been to Timbers numerous times and had excellent service and the food was good. It I don't know what happened last night. I don't know if we will go back to timbers. read more

Atmosphere is ok. Pool players cursing loudly as we tried to eat wasnt to appealing. Thursday night service seemed slow. If you know you have a good special, prepare properly. It seems like there is no set plan to serve tables or deliver food in timely fashion. Good thing is the pour is heavier than most places. The staff tries they just seem overwhelmed. read more

The women's room has been broken for weeks. The faucets are jiggly and won't turn off, the toilet paper holders are falling off the stalls and the 3rd stall has been out of commission for 3 weeks plus...who runs this place? Our family lives in Bend, not far from this place, but it's tucked away and we just recently stumbled upon it. We love Prime Rib, which they offer on Thursdays so we gave it a try. Honestly I was hesitant after reading some of the recent reviews but I'm so glad we still gave it a try. I feel like either the reviews were wrong or the staff had taken note of the recent reviews and were working to improve. Our service was friendly and timely, the food from the tots and cheese curds, to our prime rib entrees were delicious. It is quintessential Bend with a chill and relaxing vibe! If you're looking for fancy this is not it, but if you are looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy conversation, good food and they have a full bar this is it!!! Thanks Timbers! read more

Providing an updated review after being faithful customers for a couple of years now. Not much to say other than the fact that the food is still amazing, maybe better than it was when we first started visiting. Staff is beyond compare and it's been especially neat to see the same great people stick around and service customers consistently over a long period of time. Timbers is literally the best place in Bend to get a really tasty, basic breakfast. You're not gonna find a bunch of frilly waffles or pancakes, but you will find eggs cooked to your preference, an amazing scramble, home fries or hashbrowns and like six different breakfast meat options. I almost forgot to mention their gravy. Initially, I wasn't super excited by it, however, they have tweaked it and improved it. Timbers' gravy now tastes exactly like what I want amazing country gravy to taste like. It's really dangerous stuff. They cater to small appetites and large appetites. On Sundays eggs Benedict are on the menu. The daytime and evening menus are still as great as ever. I especially like their French dip and a sandwich they called the BFBLT I think you can figure out what that stands for and it's aptly named. They actually take the time to cook the bacon in a size and shape which fits on the bun. Who does that? Timbers, that divey looking bar you've driven by 100 times. Do yourself a favor and stop in for some food and fantastic service. read more

So went to this place, because we heard they had prime rib on Thursdays and it was pretty awesome! Chance, our waiter, was very timely and the service was great. We live on the north east side, but didn't know this little place existed tucked away back in a little strip mall. Will definitely visit again. We're pretty much done with Timbers East because of the surly servers. The food is good but I'm over the unfriendliness. We tip well and certainly haven't given them reason to treat us so poorly, but I always notice they treat just about everyone that way. With the many reviews about their unfriendliness I just wonder why it continues to be acceptable behavior. read more

Ok, so I raaarely would give this low of a review. I have to say though, I have NEVER had as horrible service as I had tonight at this place then I've truly had in my entire life...I mean if you can even call it service. My friend and I live close by and used to go here ALL the time. Never had issues. Today there was a white male in his 30s with a short trimmed goatee and another younger girl there I saw as well. Well came in sat down and didn't get a hello or any service what so ever for at least 10 if not 15 minutes(male bartender stayed on one end of the bar whooole time) well then we ordered my drink and a water and we're Plannnning on getting food. Well, we were never handed menus...never asked if we wanted food or anything else for that matter the rest of our 30+ minutes we were there. Sipped on my drink talked for awhile and never came over to ask how we were doing, or if we maybe wanted food....nothing. had to actually ask the female bartender for a menu while she was walking around the guest tables. Then she asks if we were looking to order....I said YES...please. then she looked the other way grabbed a pabst out of the fridge and delivered it to another guest at the opposite end of bar and never came back either. So either we were just on the wrong right side of the bar or these bartenders don't give a damn about customer service OR are just extremely oblivious and forgetful. Not sure which or what all is true there but I never make bad reviews. To sit in a place for 45 minutes and get 1 drink and talk to the 2 bartenders AT the bar ONE time and on a VERY mellow night btw and not get a menu til 30 minutes in and still get ignored even then is just wild. Had to literally leave cash for my drink and leave because who knew how long it'd be before another bartender decided to come over. So ate and taco bell in a matter of 30 seconds. My colleagues from out of town and I dined at Timbers 3 times during this week. The comparison was interesting to say the least. We usually arrived about 9:00 PM and there were not too many customers until about 9:45 when the business picked up. Regardless, when we sat down we were greeted by the waitress of the night the first two night of dining even when it picked up business, she was very observant and eager to please. She made recommendations for entrees and kept our glasses full of both water and our favorite beverage. We really missed her when we showed up on Wed night when she was not working that night. There were as far as we could tell three waiters at the bar and the bar was not busy at all. In fact, it did not even get busy after 9 PM. Initially we sat at a table close to the bar thinking someone would take our order. We sat there about 10 minutes when it became clear we would not get served at a table so we moved to the far end of the bar to hopefully at least get a drink and food. One of the guys finally made his way over from a congregated gathering in front of the kitchen. We ordered our food and we all were quite happy with the quality but that was the last time we seen the male waiters/bartenders. We even raised our hands to get another beer but no one even looked our way as we were sitting on the far end of the bar. There was about 4 happy customers at the fire pit though, that were drinking water. It seemed as though the waiter/bartender were more eager to keep the water glasses full for the customers at the firepit than to serve us another beer. Had they showed up at our end of the bar, we would have given them plenty of business by buying beers. I was really surprised and dissapointed to see the difference in the service between lady waitress and the men waiter or bartenders. It was definitly a surprising different experience between to male and the females I'm sorry to say. Needless to say, we all tipped the female waitress at least 20% each for the outstanding service that she provided. She is definitely a valuable asset to your team. read more

The three stars represent the three bartenders, one pregnant bartender, one long haired with a ponytail, and one man with a Las Vegas Treasure island shirt, I've been a regular since 2015. Tonight is no different than other nights. I sat down and waited for 20 minutes at a table one table from the bar. Bartenders walked by me, looked at me sitting at the table, and had no service whatsoever. I finally had to walk up to the bar for a drink. I stood at the bar patiently for ten minutes as I watched Treasure Island shoot the shit with three men at the bar, not even serving them drinks. I politely asked for a drink. His answer is, "relax I'll get to you. If u want a drink, sit at the bar, maybe. If you don't, you won't get served until served unless they know you. I've been coming here for 6 years, I'm guessing you have to have been born in Bend to get recognized as a local. Treasure Island is a joke, to say the least. I have to say that the food is good, so Kudo's to the cooks for making good food. Management could care less about service from these employees. read more

Once again. Service is absolutely horrible. I counted six dirty tables for the entire time I was there. Employees chatting up a storm behind the bar while there are dirty tables and people who want to be served. Time to clean house. I sat at my tall table for over 30 minutes with no service. I was witnessing people clearing their own tables so they would have a place to sit. All of this happened while the servers were visiting with each other behind the counter. No service. Absolutely horrible. Maybe time to contact the state health department and the state alcohol department. read more

I have been coming here for years, even pre Covid. I love the atmosphere, the food, the drinks. I just hate how long it takes to get food. It's not the bartenders fault. There are three bartenders for an always packed extra long bar top but they are also expected to wait on the 16+ tables that are also always packed. There needs to be at least one or two people just for the floor. I come here less and less because of it. Tonight I ordered a nacho that sat at the window for 15 minutes before someone grabbed it to bring it out. The lime was completely dry and the salsa was extremely hot. I hope the owner sees this to try and help out these bartenders. I would of just grabbed it myself but I didn't want to piss off the bartenders. This isn't just a Covid issue. We were on this end of town a couple weeks ago and ran into this place by accident. It looked inviting and was around lunch time so decided to give it a try. It wasn't real busy, no one greeted us when we came in. We stood at the check in kiosk for a minute or two then sat down in a booth as we were here to eat lunch, not drink. The one and only person working the entire bar areas, all of the tables and the booths, popped by and gave us menus. She came back within 5 minutes and we ordered a Bleu Ox Burger with fries and Fish and Chips with sweet potato fries and two beers. Then we waited and waited and waited. We usually don't even finish an entire beer with a meal, but ours were both looooooong gone before we ever got our food. The server came back and asked if we wanted more beer at least once, maybe twice, we declined and asked for water. After a while we noticed the young man cooking was literally cooking ONE TICKET AT A TIME. He would take one ticket off the order wheel/strip and start working on it. When the order went up to the window, he would pull the next order and start it. No wonder it was taking so long! At one point we also noticed a very strong "hot burnt oil odor" coming from the kitchen area, to which I jokingly said "that's probably our food". After at least 45 minutes, maybe more, our food came. My husband loved the burger and fries. My fish was so burnt and dark brown (almost black) and dried out it was impossible to eat. The sweet potato fries were cold. Really - not even room temperature! The theory is it probably WAS the fish burning in too hot oil or left in too long, or he had to start completely over with the fish and while dealing with that, the sweet potato fries lost all thier heat. I ate part of one piece of the five pieces of fish. Too bad, I was really looking forward to that meal. There is no way the cook or the server could have missed how burnt that fish was when she gave it to us. She never came back to our table until my husband went up to the bar to ask where we check out and pay. He left our credit card with her to run. When she came to the table with our credit card and receipt, I showed her the food and told her how burnt it was plus the completely cold fries (she could obviously see all of the food uneaten). She simply said "well if you would have told me I would have taken it off your bill" and then walked away and didn't speak to us again. She had already ran our credit card for the total amount. I guess she could have said something like " I'll re-run your credit card and take it off" or "would you like something to go" or say just about anything besides walking away and pretending like nothing happened. My parents and I are all big fans of the Timbers in Redmond and always wondered what the Timbers in Bend would be like, so we finally checked it out when we were already over that way. I think they are both similar in their look and vibe, both bars are very laid-back which we all like, but we all agreed this location didn't have AS great of service, but not the worst by any means. It's also fair to say we might just get better service at the Redmond location because the three of us are regulars there... so it's not fair to compare them too much, but also hard not to do it a little bit. Food wasn't bad, typical bar food. I got a cheeseburger that was tasty and as expected. My parents both got prime rib which they found to be similar enough to the prime rib they get at our normal location, so they were happy with that. Drinks were fine too and they have a nice outside seating/smoking area. Everything was just okay. We all agree we wouldn't go out of our way to eat or drink here again (why would we when we like our closer Timbers much better?), and would probably choose somewhere else to try in the area before returning here. Not something I'd be quick to recommend to anybody but I wouldn't tell people NOT to come here either. read more

We thought Timbers was a great place, because the food was great and it was such an open bar and seating area. But after maybe our 2nd or 3rd time there, we've come to realize that there staff is completely rude. They never seem to want to help us. They only want to help their "regulars" . Always have an attitude and are cussing people out on the smoke patio. We've never caused any trouble and have been polite but it doesn't seem to help. Probably not going back to be honest. read more
