This place is great unless the one big male (always wearing a ball cap) bartender is working. If you're a semi decent looking lady be ready for him to grossly hit on you and get offended when you don't want him to "save" you. I've had a few issues with him, but the worst was last night when he tried to convince me I was too drunk to go home with my literal brother. My brother got irritated and showed him that our last names are the same on our licenses. This guy throws a tantrum when he realized he was wrong and called the cops to say we were too drunk (nothing happened). We were calling an Uber home. It's not the first time I've experienced him being a man-child, but definitely the most inappropriate. If you hate drunk people that much (also watched him pour out some other dude's WATER last night for God knows what reason) or you're just there to "rescue" young drunk women, you probably shouldn't be a bartender. A few months ago I went in for dinner and drinks with my sister and this guy happened to be working. She'd just turned 21 and this guy was creepy as all get out then, too. I don't know what his issue is, but I'm definitely not coming here anymore out of fear he'll be working. Which is a shame, because I really like all of the other bartenders, the atmosphere, and the food. It's not worth drinking around a predator, unfortunately. read more

Waiter was awesome! Food was pretty good. Went to have breakfast and watch football. Didn't know the allowed children , which wouldn't be that bad if they weren't allowed to run all over and yell. Won't be back , sad. read more

Always have has a great experience at Timbers East. Glad they are making the extra effort to keep the riff raff meth heads out of the establishment! read more

Always a chill place to grab a beer and some good grub. Taco Tuesday is a great deal and they make some seriously yummy street tacos! I have never felt unsafe coming to this bar and it's clear that they do their best to discourage unsafe behaviors and individuals from their business. read more

I was told to try this place on taco Tuesday. H Got there about 7pm. The doorman /security guard was great to sit us and bring menus. Then when we told him we needed to order, he went and got a server for us. Later he helped me carry our 4 waters to the table as service was set slow. Then after that service was ok. The tacos were very good. Overall, service 2 star and food 3.5 read more

If you like the smell of stale cigarette smoke and old beer you'll love this place. Service was slow, my burger was burnt, the bacon on my burger was burnt, my burger didn't come with what it said I'd did on the menu, and oh yah my onion rings were burnt. Not to mentioned they allowed a couple to bring their dog in to the restaurant and it wasn't a service animal. If you like to play pool and the smell isn't a problem for you, their pool tables look in good shape. read more

I like this place. Spacious enough where you are not crammed in a tight booth. Big tables to share. The food is much better than typical bar food. I've eaten here 4-5 times, and every meal my friends and l have ordered were delicious. I often order their Cobb Salad. Their steak bites are yum!!! read more

Their food is not good and I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I would not recommend coming here.

We went to Timbers East at the recommendation of the front desk clerk of a nearby hotel. We went in at happy hour, the place looked fun. 20+ taps, stuff to do, pool tables, TVs, etc.. The TV over the one set of tap handles was dead, and was covered in grossness. We ordered a couple beers from our friendly bartender. Fast service. We also ordered the pretzel happy hour app. There was a big loud knuckle dragger dude at the end of the bar expressing his very short list of things that women are good for, and yes *shocked face* they were mostly X rated. Rap music was playing at happy hour. Our app came, it was two small pretzels that were obviously frozen a few minutes before, sprinkled with salt that not one grain stuck to the pretzels, all the salt was in the basket. The cheese sauce it was served with was good. We asked some questions of our bartender about the food She consulted some other bartender that made the strangest face I have seen from a server and she said "No, we make nothing." Then the rap music was cranked up during happy hour. Mr. Knuckle Dragger was still spouting off his opinions in life, loudly. We got our check and left. I would not go back. read more

I went to Timbers for lunch with my husband and my 2 year old son around noon. While we were there my winter coat was stolen from our table. I spoke to the staff and they said they would speak with the manager and get back to me. Sadly they never did. When I called to follow up I was treated terribly. The manager was rude and really quite awful. Be careful frequenting this establishment. read more

The service in this bar is absolutely horrible. The bartender was beyond rude, we were ignored and then yelled at for trying to sit down after standing in the door waiting for over 10 minutes without anyone saying a single thing to us. Then we were kicked out for having an expired ID because the DMV's are so booked out because of COVID. OLCC has changed their rules for people with expired ID's after March because of this reason, and the bartender refused to even hear us out and continued to get ruder. I definitely only recommend going to this bar if you wanted to be be treated like trash. read more

This is one of our go-to places when we stay in Bend. It's a two minute walk from our motel, so no one has to drive after enjoying a few drinks. We always order dinner and the food never disappoints. Service can be sporatic, but we generally don't feel neglected - if we need something we just go up to the bar. One of the bonuses we have enjoyed is being able to watch OSU or UO football/basketball games that we can't get at the motel. We love the atmosphere! read more

Survice sucks. This is the second worst visit at Timbers. Whom ever the female bar staff was on June 9, 2018 around 11am had argued with a patron claiming that he pay first before being served because he made a joke early that he only had 3 dollars on him. It was a joke, I saw several twenty dollar bills as he opened his wallet. This same person had also made me pay first several months ago as others walked right up and served without question. This bar staff person is very rude, judges a person by there looks and will ruin this bar success. I for one will not return, even the cooks looked confused as I returned my over cooked eggs. Service here sucks... Take your money elsewhere. read more

Meh. Been here a few times now. I am a sucker for places that serve beer by the can. So that is a plus in my book. Has pool tables, indoor fire places, does some karaoke nights. My issue with this place was that I really didnt feel welcome by the locals. The bartenders were great, their local patrons on the other hand I could maybe do without. They have good food specials and from my friends reviews they always say the food is damn good and its the reason they keep going back. Need a place to start off for the night with a group of friends for a few quick drinks while watching the end of a sports game? This is a possible place to go. I will be back because its close to our house. read more

Kewl place! Our first time there during Sunday NFL! Go Broncos! They were playing the Raiders, so it was even better! Service just wasn't great and the reason for the 4 star. Maybe it was just because it was football! I'll definitely be back! read more

Great place for drinks and to have fun. Lots of bar games going on. Always busy which is a good sign. Only bad thing about always being busy is you will have to wait a extra few minutes to get those drinks coming. But bar tenders are super friendly. Recommended for a night out! read more

Great place to stop by for burgers and beers. We go there and order and split the foods. Yummy

Thé environnement is okay, and they do good to space people for COVID, but otherwise the food is mediocre and the waitresses are crabby

I'm having big problems at timbers east with manager. He is harassing me in my motor home. I've told Johnny about druggies that have been coming around he still lets them in bar and kicks me out. I need talk to owner. My number is 541-948- 9186. The bouncer chetto came to my motorhome few weeks ago and pulled out big bottle of meth. Then I went to timbers days later when chetto was working and he was talking bad about everyone. I said why you worried about others when your doing meth.. he gets mad runs in street on duty and trust to fight me. I wouldn't just stayed on sidewalk. He kicked me out then i said just need to get my card. Chetto said no would let me. Then I said I wasn't leaving till I got it. He still would. Then he has the cops trespass me . Cops let me go in bar get my card. Then he has cops walk all way down and trespass my girlfriend witch hasn't been going in there. I told Johnny the manager and he didn't do anything. Just told me he had meth problem for 4 years. Then there another guy Paul Hamlin stealing cans and doing meth that goes in timbers and I told him about and he didn't even care. Johnny the manager showed Paul my texts and Paul messages me telling me Johnny showed him and did nothing. I have all texts between Johnny and Paul . I told Johnny I wanted to talk to owner and he won't let me. Johnny the manager just drives by my motorhome honking his horn to wake me and my kids up late at night all the time. He just let's all the druggies go in timbers now but won't let me. Even though I have gone there since first day timbers east has been open playing pool. Just think others need to hear this expecialy if there having same issues. read more

We ate here last time for taco Tuesday & it was really good but this time not so good. Service is defently something to be desired! Thumbs down! We ordered chicken tacos & were served beef then couldn't even get her attention. There was hardly any beef in them. When I went to pay I again inquired about the price was overcharged but paid the incorrect amount. Finally after asking for a print out she admitted that we were incorrectly charged & gave us the difference back. read more

I have been going to timbers for years not frequently, but it's a place I have always enjoyed going and having some drinks at. All the female bartenders there are awesome! They do their job great and do it with a smile on their face. I enjoy timbers special on taco Tuesday's so as usual I went in to get some tacos to go and head home. I figured I would also get a drink while I was waiting for my food. When I ordered my drink from John I mentioned I would like some food as well. I asked him if they were doing the 6 pack of tacos because I did not see it on the menu as usual. He ignored me and when he brought my friend and I drinks he overwhelmed me with "what do you want? Where are you sitting? What do you want?" Not giving me the opportunity to even speak and order my food to go. I ask him if he could please not be rude to me. My friend then stated that I was wanting to get my food to go. He flipped out on me being pushy yelling asking my again okay so what do I want. It was to the point to where I just declined to get tacos and pay for my drink and leave. As he was running my card he turned around and glared at me and said " don't tell me what to be" it was very childish and uncalled for. I had not had a sip of booze until that moment and was not feeling well so I just wanted to take my comfort food and go home. I usually have a great experience every time I go there but this guy seems to have it out for me. He is never nice to me and because of him I will no longer be going there to hang out and visit some of my favorite bartenders. It's a shame how one person can ruin an establishment like that. I have never been so disrespected when I am the one being served.. I am the customer. Lucky for him he still got a tip. read more

We went several months ago when we stayed in Bend. Services was ok but not this time. A server walked past our table to deliver an order to another table and she looked at us. I won't be going back there again. read more

Had a great breakfast with man mimosas this morning. Our party had chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, breakfast chimichanga and more. We used to go there to watch games. The service never was great, but we knew that going in. Now, it is worse. The bartender actually plopped our drink down and didn't even ask us for a food order. She never came back. We had to have another server take care of us after I went to the bar to get her. The older of the 2 servers was rude and couldn't give us the time of day. It wasn't the first time either. When shift change happened, the new server came by more times in 30 minutes than our other 2 serves did in 1 and a half hours. We didn't get to order any food since they didn't offer and we won't go back. As a local that enjoys watching the game with others, we'll take our friends and generous tips elsewhere. Too bad. read more

Timbers food is good, but the service has left the building. This has happened several times when we've gone there. We've even gone so far as calling to ensure we will be served at the tables if we show up. We will get the menu and maybe drinks but aren't able to place a food order etc. read more

Great food and great food prices. Service sucks! The only reason we even go back is for the food. The last three times we have gone in the service has gotten worse. Forgotten drinks, wrong ticket, no table service ( had to go up to bar to get anything). read more

Ok, things have changed - for the better! This place is a regular hang out for my husband and I, so we've ridden the wave of management and staffing changes. Service is much improved and the food is excellent! We've had breakfast on three consecutive Sundays and lunch several more times. We love the fish tacos on Fridays and often split a burger on Wednesdays. Laura has done a great job setting priorities and encouraging excellence among staff both old and new. I recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a "neighborhood" experience. They always make us feel welcome! read more

Complete garbage. Their beer on tap, their food, their service and manager John.

Rude Bar and kitchen staff, Dirty, No Toilet paper in the stalls, and when I told the Girl behind the counter, she told me she doesn't get paid enough to care and told me to use the Covers. I told here there were none, she told me to use the Napkins form the Bar. Then explained that the night crew can deal with it. A few minutes later when I let the Male bartender know that one of the tables was sticky with bits of napkin stuck to it, he tossed me a towel. read more

Awesome fun and good drinks always, date night last night was pure adult fun! Thanks guys and gals for great service!

Not a bad place to grab a beer eat some pretty good food and catch a ball game on their screens. Last visit last week we found service to be very spotty and to top it off we were totally ignored by two young "ladies" who were giving out samples of some flavored rum. They walked right past us three times without even acknowledging our existence. Guess we didn't fit their demographic which seemed to be guys only and young. Pretty sure they weren't employed by Timbers. Their snootiness left a very sour taste which unfortunately means we won't return. Hope the management reads this so they better screen who they allow to promote from the outside. read more

To bad the owner doesn't know what his female bartenders/ waitstaff are doing, or in this case NOT doing. On a recent visit I took my boyfriend out for drinks & dinner. We ended up basically having to serve ourselves. My boyfriend went and ordered & brought back our drinks. After waiting about 20 minutes I got up & got menus. After another lengthy wait I placed our orders. The food when it came was really good, I loved my prime rib & he said his hamburger was excellent. To get another drink though, he had to again go up to the bar, & after getting our check, we finally went up to the bar to pay. What is seriously annoying is that the place wasn't very full, & we should have had no problem being NOTICED or served. The "girls" behind the bar spent their time flirting w the men at the bar, & basically ignored the rest of the floor. This lack of service is not unique to this branch of timbers however, as I have come in to get lunch on several occasions (the food really is good!) & been totally perplexed by how customers, female mainly get ignored.... I won't be back, & will tell anyone who I hear considering going there to avoid the place like the plague. To bad, with some good servers this place could really do well.... read more
