It's a plant nursery and a organic café/bakery. The vibe is very relaxed. It had a rustic good home feel. We thought about getting some fresh brewed organic coffee and a breakfast sandwich, but I was distracted with the fresh sourghdough breads. I talked to the baker who made the breads and he said he only uses the best organic wheat from local sources. No glyphosates in his bread! He was very nice and helpful. I ended buying a loaf of his seeded spelt sourdough bread and a almond scones. When I got home I had a slice of the bread and let me tell you...that bread was AMAZING! Moist and dense. The sourdough was sour and I actually felt good eating it. I love a good "Sour" dough. Some sourdough breads just don't have that kick of sourness I like, but this bread did. The scone was amazing too! It tasted healthy. Next time we will have to stop in for an actual lunch and not just buy bread. Or maybe both. Support your local shops and stop here for some organic goodies!

Since we got there so late in the day they didn't have much available, but last time I got a delicious peanut butter bar that blew me away. The staff were all very friendly and seemed happy. There is a small space with tables inside and a cute little garden outside with a few more tables. The prices were reasonable, about on-par for a tourist town. They have a small parking lot and there is plenty of street parking. The building is a bit hidden so it can be hard to spot if you're on foot but they put signs out when they're open to help people to find. We have since learned that when a group such as a community organization meets there regularly they bring in a cook, not a chef but at least someone that can at least make oatmeal. It had an interesting, eclectic vibe, so I figured I'd grab breakfast there. I ordered a coffee and a gluten-free bagel with salmon which was awesome! Three stars for the food! I would've given more, but considering the circumstances. The employee who helped me was noticeably unfriendly from the start and very monotone and detached. I sat at the counter right by the coffee area and watched her interact with other customers. The service stayed consistently flat and impersonal. She even forgot to give one gentleman his coffee and scone and didn't apologize or acknowledge the mistake, which was surprising. I own a business myself, and customer-facing roles are critical. The person at the counter is the first impression people get. If they're not warm or attentive, it really hurts the whole experience. Unfortunately, that was the case here. The concept of the place is cool and has potential, but they need to seriously reevaluate their front-of-house staff and bring in people who actually enjoy engaging with customers. Without friendlier service, they risk losing business in a town that sees plenty of visitors. I probably won't be stopping back on future trips.
