This place is so cute! The indoor scenery felt very fit for a bakery. The service was amazing! The person taking our order was very kind. I had the hot toasted bacon and avocado sandwich (with no bacon) and it was delicious! The bread was very flavorful. I also had a chocolate chip cookie and the double chocolate dream cupcake, both were very tasty. We will be returning! read more

The pastries are just OK, but thier prices are not. While I can get a breakfast at 350° for $10, two breakfast pastries cost me $13. Thats a lot for a turnover and a muffin! read more

I went here when it was still in a smaller space, but I was not impressed by the customer service nor the baked goods. We got some fruit cinnamon roll thing and a turnover and both were underbaked. The roll was definitely raw still. read more

A gem! Cute little shop. It's been a few weeks but this is a great shop! The cookies were just as good as they looked-yummy! I had a double chocolate and a snickerdoodle. Both were fantastic, as was the mocha! I found the staff (sorry, I didn't catch her name) to be very nice and helpful as well. I can't wait to return. read more

I try to support local businesses as much as possible, particularly in favor of the national chains that have been invading Coos Bay and North Bend lately. Today, I stopped at a place called 350 Degrees, which is in a tiny little nook on Sherman Street houses a tattoo shop, a game store and an interesting pawn shop that seems to specialize in guns and guiatars. I was really hoping that I'd be able to provide it with a great review but, alas, things did not work out. 350 Degrees is a Typical limited menu coffee shop that carries a few pastries. Their Pastries are, by and large, pretty expensive and seem to be geared to purchasers who love lots of frosting. Foot traffic is minimal, which may explain why they don't have any tables in the shop. They do have a nice little patio area near the shop if you're looking for someplace to enjoy your coffee and cookie, but it works only as long as the weather is good. My biggest complaint is with the coffee, which is sad because this place advertises itself as a coffee shop that also sells pastry. They advertise drip coffee, but weren't making it the day I was there (one of the more interesting arguments that I've heard for an upsell to one of their espresso drinks), so the only thing they could offer me was an Americano that cost 33% more. I frequent most of the coffee shops in the area and these guy's prices seem to be at the higher end of the shops. The sad part was that they didn't seem to know how to make the Americano. Anyone who drinks the beverage consistently and with relish understands that you make it by floating the shots on top of the hot water so that you don't destroy the créma, the creamy layer that forms on top of the shot that gives the Americano its distinctive flavor. The Crema is what induces a coffee lover to drive an extra 20 miles to get a good Americano once they find a place that does them right. When they started to build my drink, I could see that they were going to put the shots on the bottom and then pour the water on top, and when I politely asked them to do it the other way around, and explained why, they became, well, Agitated. I do not think they had ever heard the word Crema before and they were obviously unhappy that I had asked them to change up their routine. The result was tension filled essentially silent transaction where I got out of there as soon as I could. As I noted above, I try to support local businesses, but I'm not quite sure I can recommend this place in good conscience if you know good coffee and want to a correctly prepared coffee drink. If you are looking for a hostess cupcake look alike pastry and.a flavored latte,though, this might be your place. read more

These ladies' were exceptional and beyond helpful to think quick and help us out. We had our cookie maker cancel with 3 hours for an 85th birthday, and needed desserts. The girls at 350 Degrees, helped me brainstorm some quick ideas and then they accomplished it within less than the time needed. I so appreciated them, very much. We make a point to stop at this bakery every time we're near Coos. The scones are hands down the best I've ever had - soft, moist and full of flavor. Each time we try something new and each time we wish we'd bought extra to bring home with us. Love the cupcakes with light fluffy frosting, soft cookies, rich brownies and gooey cinnamon rolls. I'm looking forward to our next trip to the Southern Coast so we can sample new recipes. read more
