We enjoyed a donut at the woodshop in Sutherlin. Proprietor shared she bought them from Henry's. In honor of the Blackberry Festival, Henry's offered a variety of blackberry donuts. Henry's Donuts was a totally fun experience for us. We are most definitely going back! Our server was loaded with positive and welcoming energy! We certainly don't need to come home with that many donuts ever again though, but the enthusiasm was so positive and contagious that we couldn't help ourselves. Luckily we travel with an ice chest. We left with two large boxes, about four dozen donuts. Not a glamorous location, but definitely not bad. Easy access off of I-5 and plenty of parking makes this a perfect pit stop when traveling. Only four stars for now because we were in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't get to really look in the corners so to speak, but the goods are fresh and there are also some severely discounted day old items as well.... We loaded up, got my apple fritters fix, old fashioned glaze and maple bar feast! We're still laughing about how we just stopped in for a quick bite on the run and ended up driving off with four dozen! ....they freeze well This place also does way more than just donuts. There are breakfast bagels, lunch sandwiches, soups of the day... The bagel dog was delicious wrapped in bagel dough! read more

Great donut shop. Conveniently right off the I5 so you can grab and go. The cronut was so flaky on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Perfect. We grabbed some breakfast sandwiches to go that had such great flavors. The mushroom and roasted tomatoes cream cheese spread delicious. Would stop when traveling through anytime. read more

I ordered three bagels to go on March 31, 2025. They were small, dried out, and tasteless. On top of that, I was charged $2.50 each. I felt totally ripped-off. Maybe the donuts are better, if you want a sugar rush, but Henry's bagels are terrible! You'd be much better off buying Thomas' Whole Wheat Bagels from the grocery store. BEST BREAKFAST FOR THE ROAD. This is always my quick go-to stop for breakfast when heading north to Portland for work meetings. It's quick, delicious, and conveniently located just off I-5! From donuts that are light, fluffy, and fresh each morning to everything bagels with sun-dried tomato cream cheese, I am never disappointed. On top of it all, the girls working the place are always super friendly and cheerful so early in the morning. This place and The Happy Donut further south in Myrtle Creek are the best donut places in southern Oregon in my opinion! Definitely recommended!! read more

for years i have been frequenting Henrys it was the best bakery anywhere. the size and fillings in the donuts were extra ordinarily generous and great taste. Their breakfast burrito was the best when this one employee made it if i were rating it then it would be over 5 stars but now i cant say the same, I went in today to find not only my favorite donuts no longer being produced but all the donuts had shrunk in size and looked like they been sitting there for days as they looked all dried out. Did shrink inflation hit Henrys? I so wanted to turn around and walk out. I bought some took them home and found oh yes the fillings were alot less especially the apple less than filled bear claws which use to be big was dinky with no apple and very little cinnamon/sugar filling in the middle even the jelly filled ones a teeny glob in the middle. so sad when an iconic wonderful place gets hit by inflation or has to cut cost so much they sacrifice the integrity of their product and dissatisfy the customer. read more

Nice service, cute place. Had an apple fritter. It was perfectly cooked and iced. Great flavor. But it took 9 bites before I got apple. And that was it. One piece. Perhaps it should be renamed. Because apple fritter it wasn't. And might I suggest the use of dark chocolate. It is a better flavor balance than milk chocolate icing. Which is generally tasteless. read more

These doughnuts are amazing!! This comes from someone who's grandparents ran a doughnut shop in Southern California where they made them from scratch every morning. This shop reminds me exactly of my grandpa's doughnuts. They are light and fluffy with amazing glazes and toppings. The different daily specials are always fun and delicious. My husband's favorite is the pb&j doughnut, mine will always be a maple bar! If you are anywhere near here and are craving a doughnut you would do well to stop by, you won't be sorry! We loved them so much we even had them at our wedding and they disappeared before the tri tip! We stumbled onto Henry's. The coffee place across the street had a line of cars, and then I noticed Henry's. We were headed back to Seattle, and needed a good coffee. Henry's fit the bill. Now called Henry's Bakery as they took over the bagel shop too. Henry's Has always had amazing donuts. They are seriously the best. The reason for my 2 stars is for the girls - all three of them- I sat and watched while they made a breakfast burrito. None of them washed their hands or wore gloves. They were each handling cards, cash, and at the same time touching bagels, making the burrito. I was disgusted and sadly threw out my donut. Should let they have one person handling the payments while the others handle the food? And seriously put some gloves on!!! read more

Henry's bakery is a small breakfast nook just off the freeway in Sutherlin. The shop is clean and well kept. However, I arrived near closing time and they didn't have much left. I ended up ordering a panini. It was microwaved for me and tasted pretty bad. I ended up throwing away the second half. Maybe their fresh food tastes better but $6.50 for a microwaved sandwich was not what I had in mind. read more

Soooo if you read my other doughnut store review in Roseburg you know we left the other establishment and went in search of a tasty doughnut to consume on the way to Eugene, this was our second stop in our search. A little out of the way off of I5 and we had to search for it, it's back in a shopping center Siri directed us there, I don't think Siri has ever ate a doughnut and if she/ he has depending on your settings I wouldn't let him/ her direct you to any doughnut. The chocolate cake doughnut was only half mixed and the doughnut holes were devoid of any flavor. I do not recommend any of these establishments, however I did get out for under ten dollars so that's good. Oh cash only no checks or credit cards accepted and they want tips too. read more

I live in Springfield and will tell you this! You guys are by far the BEST donuts ever! We even have a donut shop that everyone goes gaga over and they do make unusual donuts BUT they charge $1.95 for just your basic donut! Absolutely uninspired. Had the breakfast burrito. Microwaved unseasoned egg, barely any veggies in it. No seasoning. I've had the turkey pocket also (similar to a calzone turkey broccoli cheese inside baked dough) I had the same issue with that. No seasoning. I think that's enough chances I won't be going back. read more

Henry's Bakery is a great place for donuts and a deli sandwich on handmade bagels made at the location. I stop every time I drive by Sutherland, Oregon on I-5. The donuts are great and I love the handmade deli sandwiches. Just turn off I-5 at the first exit coming from the north or at the second exit coming form the south and head east on the main road. They are on the same side of the road as the big "M" chain, in the shopping center to the left of big "M". The food at Henry's is so much better than at big "M's" and is quite reasonable priced. I look forward to my visit to Henry's every time I drive by Sutherland, Oregon. Great food, nice folks and so much better than what is across the street! read more

Do not get the bagels! Ordered a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel, I could not see any raisins or taste any cinnamon and it was not toasted. All I could taste was cream cheese and hand lotion. I was driving or I would have gone back, a couple bites was all I could do with this disaster. I wouldn't think this basic bagel would be that hard to do. read more
