Have you ever had a 1/3lb burger with thick sliced pastrami, and thick sliced bacon so big you have to do oral gymnastics just to bite into it, finished it off, with fries, and immediately felt like you could eat another it was so good? Spent 19 years on the Oregon coast, loved eating here the burgers were the best. After 12 years came back to visit and ordered the garlic burger. Was just as good as before. Use real chopped garlic and has bacon on it. Patty was cooked perfectly and everything else like onions pickles and cheese just add to the amazing flavor. The food is hearty, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The dining area is spotless. We've enjoyed quite a few meals here, but my favorite so far is the Philly Cheesesteak! Just WOW. The onion rings are also amazing. Panko encrusted and dipped in ranch or fry sauce...so good. Their burgers are epic. Forget what you know about the fast food chain's Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Yeong's is in a completely different world of YUM. I haven't had room to order dessert yet, but their shakes look incredible. This month's flavor is Lavender Dark Chocolate! They also have sundaes and banana splits. We came here after a hike around 2 pm on a Tuesday. While there was no one in line when we arrived, it got quite busy just after we ordered. First tip, there are menus with more detailed descriptions of all the items that are listed on the blackboards above your head, you just need to look down on the register counter haha. Anyway, I don't recall what my husband tried but I got the jalapeno bacon cheeseburger with curly fries. The food came out surprisingly fast, especially considering how busy they were. You can see the kitchen from the seating which was nice to see how hard everyone was working and they all seemed to be in good moods. The burger was fantastic. It wasn't oversized or falling apart. The deep fried jalapenos aren't spicy which I would have liked but it all made for a good flavor. The curly fries were very good, the tots my husband had were just so-so (no flavor but we didn't ask for any) and on second thought I wish we would have tried the waffle fries. They have tons of burger options which can be overwhelming for some I think. But they did a great job. The location isn't flashy nor is it a hole in the wall. Wow! One of the best local burger shops I have ever visited. First and foremost, this burger shop has many options. From elk burgers , bison burgers, other unique burgers this place has it all! The price and service for these excellent Burgers is phenomenal. The staff is fast and friendly and extremely patient while you asked questions and/or peruse around the menu. The burger patties itself seemed homemade and not frozen Factory type patties. This place also offers unique and somewhat hard to find type of desserts. The interior seating is exactly what you would expect out of a Burger joint and that's not a bad ambience. Unfortunately there is no outdoor seating but there is plenty of interior space for social distancing and CDC covid-19 guidelines. Its Burger Heaven!! This restaurant is by far my favorite that I have visited while in Oregon. Recommended by my boyfriends sister.. great choice.
