    Bacon cheeseburger

Food-Burgers are delicious. I always have the elk burger and my husband gets the bacon cheeseburger. Elk burger is huge! Better bring your appetite. Fries are crispy and not soggy. Shakes are a bit pricey but delicious and worth it. Fry sauce is spot on.

Had to come back for the Spicy Chicken! I got waffle fries this time and everything was perfect. Thank You

Yeong's Place - North Bend, OR "Giant" burger generous portion size, Takeout Recommended, Patty Melt Needs Improvement Rating Snapshot: Others vs. Me TripAdvisor (162 reviews, Aug. 26, 2025): Overall: 4.5/5 stars (#1 Quick Bite in North Bend) * Service: 4.3/5 * Value: 4.3/5 * Food: 4.5/5 * Atmosphere: 3.1/5 My Experience (Detailed Ratings): Food Overall: ¾ (3.75/5) -- slightly lower than hype, mainly due to Patty Melt Patty Melt: Taste ¾ (3.75/5) | Value (3/5) -- thin patty and plain grocery-store-style rye bread made it less satisfying Giant Burger: Taste (4/5) -- strikingly similar to Carl's Jr.'s Famous Star, enjoyable but not standout * "Giant" Burger Value: 1/2 (4.5/5) -- large, filling, satisfying for the price. * Service: ¾ (3.75/5) -- friendly staff, slight delay (~25 min) despite few customers * Atmosphere: (2/5) -- casual, could be cleaner, best as takeout Why My Ratings Differ Slightly * Patty Melt Portion & Bread: The thin beef patty was underwhelming, and the rye bread tasted like plain grocery-store slices -- together they made the sandwich feel small and less special. * Giant Burger Flavor: Good size and toppings, but taste closely resembles Carl's Jr.'s Famous Star -- enjoyable, but not the unique "wow" I expected. * Atmosphere: Simple and a bit dated, a few flies, worn mats, tables not fully cleaned; street/gas station view. * Service: Staff friendly, but ~25 min wait slightly long for a mostly empty restaurant. My Visit in Detail Patty Melt (~$12, fries included) * Small portion, thin beef patty, plain grocery-store-style rye bread * Taste/Flavor: 3.75/5 -- some flavor, not dry, but patty and bread made it less satisfying and not memorable * Value: 3/5 -- portion and bread quality don't match price * Thoughts: Would be much better with a thicker, juicier patty and better-quality bread Giant Burger ($12, fries included) * Large portion, quality bun, stacked toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, mayo, thousand island) * Taste: 4/5 -- flavorful, but strikingly similar to Carl's Jr.'s Famous Star * Value: 4.5/5 -- big, filling, good portion for price Atmosphere * Casual, interior slightly worn, some flies, tables not fully cleaned * Street/gas station view, limited privacy * Recommendation: Takeout recommended Service * Staff friendly and welcoming * Slightly long wait (~25 minutes) despite few customers * Service Rating: 3.75/5 Bottom Line * Giant Burger - good value and filling, takeout recommended; taste enjoyable but not a unique standout * Patty Melt - flavor okay, but thin patty and plain grocery-store-style rye bread make it less satisfying * Dining in is fine for a quick stop, but takeout may provide a better experience * Overall, Yeong's Place offers casual, tasty food with friendly staff, but portion size, unique flavor, and atmosphere leave room for improvement

    French Dip.

Update - the owner reached out to me which was very nice to do. I appreciate a business that listens to their customers and does their best to remedy the situation. It shows they take pride in their food and service. Adjusted review from 3 to 4 stars. Was hoping for a great lunch based on the reviews. I ordered the French Dip sandwich but only ate a few bites. However, husband had a bowl of chili topped with cheese and onions and said it was tasty. Popular place with lots of customers so the other menu items such as the hamburgers are well liked. Cashier was very friendly, polite, and made sure our table was clean which was appreciated.

The service was great and the food was amazing! They have so many options and even for being busy the food came out quick. I will definitely be back to try something else as it was so hard to choose between everything!

Wuerst Burger. Full party, pastrami, bacon, sauerkraut, lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions and thousand island.

Always a great burger. Have had the garbage burger previously and today thoroughly enjoyed the Wuerst Burger! Fries are crispy and the fry sauce is tasty. If you are in the area, stop by and enjoy the very fine selection of burgers. Did not have one but my fellow travelers highly recommend the milk shakes.

Burger was great, though the bun was soggy within a short time. I'd try it again, maybe the bun thing was a fluke. Flavor was really good.

Yeong's is the best mom and pop burger stop I have been to around these parts. They even beat out some of the high end places around town.
