Perfect little neighborhood bar where the beer is cold, the drinks are excellent, Dawn holds court and Sheriff Bob plays great music! Did our laundry, stayed a few hours and had fun. Came back the next day to try the chicken and burgers...and mojos. Yum....they just need a BLT. Reluctantly said "bye" to Coos Bay/North Bend and the sheriff! read more

What a joke that your servers & bartenders can't claim a tip. You expect them to tell their table that tips are only accepted before the customer pays their tab makes it uncomfortable for them. I've been in the industry for almost 20 years and I've never seen anything like it. You don't care about your employees even the slightest. You are shorting them and it's a bunch of bull! I wouldn't be surprised if I heard you have a hard time keeping employees that aren't related. No wonder your busier than most... all of your customers know they can get away without tipping. We ate there for the first time today. We came in for lunch (it's Saturday), and the place was almost empty. It was clean and quiet. I had the fried chicken with potato salad, and the others in our party had oysters, gizzards, poppers, mojos , and fries. It was a LOT of food. All of it was excellent, and the barmaid/server/cook was delightful. We are going back tomorrow to try the burgers that people in town rave about. read more

My husband and I were staying in North Bend for two nights; the Tiny Tavern had been recommended for late night dining. We walked from our hotel and realized as we approached the Tavern that we had forgotten our masks. I entered the tavern with my face and nose covered; I asked if they might have masks for their patrons. I was told abruptly and dismissively that they would not serve us. I am glad that they are strict about masks, but the woman at the bar was extremely rude. Won't ever darken their door again. read more

Has a laundromat so that's neat. Good food at 11:30pm, saved me from staying hungry. Fries had good flavor and temperature but could have been a little cruncher. Played some wonderful games of pool. Come see the friendly bartender :) read more

Interesting neighborhood bar/laundromat/cafe. $8 to fill a 32 oz growler with a local brew--can't remember the name, but an excellent brown ale. Maybe a dozen beers on tap and a pretty extensive menu as long as you like fried food (I do). On my next visit, I plan to try the burgers since all the locals recommend them.
