Dive bar in a tiny beach town, this place was poppin every time we drove by. Cheap drinks, cash only, ATM inside. There are two pool tables, some computer gambling games & another gambling lottery game they play on the tv (I forgot the name of that one). Arcade Tavern was recommended to us 2 years ago for the first time when we played Bandon Dunes right up the street. I wanted a dive bar and he pointed us here. Draft beer, simple bar food and locals. We went again yesterday while waiting for our takeout pizza down the street and enjoyed it just as much. Super local and definitely has its regulars. Ambiance of a good dive bar and we are fans. read more

I was shopping Bandon and wanted lunch so stopped in to Arcade.. I was greeted by the bartender and ordered a hot dog and tater tots plus a root beet while I waited.. I looked around and enjoyed the Cubs memorabilia and old beer cans. My food arrived quickly and was delicious.. The wife and I always are on the lookout for a good dive bar. This place comes up under a search for them. I personally didn't think it was a dive bar. Spacious and clean. Pool tables and tv's. We sat at the bar and checked out their menu. They offered pizza among many other things. Check out their menu. I started off with a Tanqueray Martini (with 3 olives, please) and my wife had a double Vodka with a splash of Cran. Her's was strong! Mine was a pleasure to drink. Fresh and tangy. I wasn't sure if it really was a dbl though... For food, we ordered their standard-sized pie. Around 12" to 14". Got 1/2 pesto with chicken and mushrooms, 1/2 with pepperoni, black olives, and jalapenos. They ended up putting mushrooms on the whole thing. No biggie...BTW, they were canned mushrooms. This friendly, convenient, reasonable (CASH ONLY--but there's an ATM) tavern has it all! From the cook, Sean, to Cody on the waitstaff, to the bartenders--they are polite, pleasant, fun, and helpful. The chicken pesto pizza was...and I'm not kidding (and I'm 70)...the BEST pizza I've ever eaten! Thankfully I got a large and had enough leftovers to take home and have 3 more meals. The TVs are large and have really good quality reception. It was football game day, and even the patrons were respectfully expressing their enthusiasm. We stopped in on a Sat morning right after opening. We were pleasantly surprised with the place. Our first surprise was that they had Buoy IPA from Astoria. Mmmm good stuff. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our brew. We both like horse racing and I asked the waitress to turn one if the tvs on to horse racing. She did and we sat down at a table and enjoyed another beer. Service was excellent, the whole place was clean, and the bathrooms were clean! What more could you ask for. If you are looking for a nice place, wide open spaces, across the street from the pier, reasonable price pints - this is it! read more

This is the local watering hole with fantastic prices, super friendly bartenders, great pub food, and a fun atmosphere for a night out. It's cash only but has an ATM, jukebox, pool tables, and darts. Literally the best dive bar (and I mean this in the best way, I LOVE a good dive bar) I've been to. Owners and staff are amazing, and I love supporting small businesses. Pro tip for all the tourists: rent a crab pot from Tony's, let it sit at the docks and check your traps every 45 minutes or so in between beers at the Arcade. Make small talk with the locals, you're sure to have a great time. 10/10 would recommend. read more

No frills sports bar with pool tables and video lottery. Affordably priced drinks. Friendly staff. Clean. Did a really good job trying to enforce the COVID restrictions despite push back from multiple regulars. Speaking of regulars, heard one get quite loud and very racist talking politics with another regular. Should probably start curbing that, it was quite off-putting. read more

Got into town a little late after an afternoon of exploring and photography. Stopped outside and talked to a couple of locals telling me they had grub like the basics, so I went inside and ordered a damm good burger and fries with a few cold ones. Staff was extremely rude and manipulates truth to upper management to preserve their employment. Upper management sides with staff because they "trust" staff must be telling the truth--even if there is three in your party to witness it. Watch out, visitors are always WRONG here! read more

My wife and I are traveling, we needed food and a restroom. Both were perfect. The menu was really short, we were a little Leary. The food was spectacular for a tavern. My hot dog was hot until the last bite, the cheese was melted perfectly and in great plenty. My wife had the chicken sandwich. The Tots were perfectly fried and hot. The bread was soft and cuddled all the items I wanted in it perfectly. Out barman asked all the right questions for food possibilities and he was attentive checking back. The young woman that made the food also brought it to us, she was charming. She checked back. Everyone was safely separated. We looked at two other food establishments, not welcoming at all. I am a Restaurant Manager and my wife is a retired Executive Chef. Our tab was $16.50. We would have payed double. We talked about how wonderfully perfect our meals were, in a small tavern, all day. This would be a great place, but... The bartender is an a**, no service skills, no personality, almost walked out. Would have stayed longer to enjoy more of the great beverage selection and entertainment, but didn't care to approach the bar a second time. I've just got love for this place. If you play golf, this is where you'll find your caddie at night. Best place to grab a beer. No pretentiousness here. Most affordable bar in the area. When I was there they even had a black jack table. read more

I agree with a previous reviewer that this place is the opposite of pretentiousness. It is just a great hang out for locals and tourists (like me). The guy behind the bar was really nice and let us use Wi-Fi so that we could catch up on work while vacationing on the Oregon coast. read more

Went here while out in Bandon for a drink before dinner. Pretty basic little place down in old town Bandon. They had a couple pool tables, darts and a juke box playing. It was actually pretty busy for a late Sunday afternoon but I didn't really see much else in Bandon for pubs/taverns. Had few drinks and watched the baseball game they had on TV. Didn't try the food there, not actually even sure if they had any. Prices were good, we hit them at happy hour so good cheap drinks. I'd go back again if in the area. read more

Nice place, clean, friendly-all types and ages.Very welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of big screens for game-watching, lots tof games to play. Stumbled into this amazing bar while traveling on the Oregon Coast. This place is a true insight to the life of Bandon. There is nothing like this in Manhattan. We drank Bandon Ale for $3!!! I also won $250 playing one of the machines. Anyone going to Bandon must have a night or two here. read more

Sad. Tried this place a couple of times because the tavern has been here almost as long as the town. It is about the only full service bar on the waterfront and has more windows than walls and is affordable but the tension in the air is unbelievable. The locals sit on the right and the boys that pack the golf clubs stay at the end of the bar on the left considering who the money decides to pick on today watching sports and featuring their personal microbrewery pick of the day. Arrived in town pretty late and it was probably the only spot still open. Simple, good bar food - definitely enjoyed the burger with my brew. Looks like a spot where most locals hangout to shoot pool and grab a drink, all friendly folk. Only one bartender/server but still attentive. I'll return for another pint. read more

It was fresh grilled to perfection. I got it with a creamy balsamic vinaigrette, which was perfect. My wife's clam chowder was exceptional. The Kentucky mules were delicious! They are dog friendly on the outdoor patio.

We love going to Charleston to Chucks Seafood to get fresh fish, oysters, and crab, then stop here for a dynamite lunch. I'd say make this a happy stop!

( I can't eat certain foods, or tastes certain foods.) it wasn't that, because that is usually just eggs, bacon, and chicken it happens with. And he also agreed, the meat tasted weird. They had a small back outdoor patio, a pool table, a full bar, and a seating area with just enough for a small crowd. Sounded like a deal, so off we went. Walking in, we were hit with a wall of noise from the lively crowd and a haze of smoke drifting off the grill. To top it off, we got an unexpected dose of "local flavor" when an older lady at the bar fixed her gaze on my husband, asked to take his photo, and then claimed she really just wanted a picture of the door... sure, okay. I was tempted to turn right around, but we stuck it out and found a table. Before long, a server stopped by with menus and got us settled in. We decided to split the steak dinner, and it turned out to be fantastic--tender, flavorful, and more than enough for two. A glass of cabernet on the side rounded it out nicely. The best part, though, was the atmosphere. Once we relaxed into it, it was great fun being in a spot where the locals gather. A friendly couple pulled up to our table and shared stories about the area, even tipping us off to some local happenings. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the very next night. The Saturday special was a shrimp hoagie, and once again it was both a tasty meal and a great deal. We even ran into our new friends from the night before, who invited us to join their table--making it feel like we were part of the neighborhood. Note: no minors allowed.

The prime rib French Dip must have been cut from the standing rib roast on Prime Rib Fridays. It was scrumptious. The tots were tasty and so good with fry sauce.
