This is a quality and solid Irish pub at Bandon dunes golf resort.. there's not a lot of other options for a pub like feel as this place is really off the beaten path. However, the food is very Hardy. It is made in-house and it will fill your belly. I had the shepherd's pie which was delicious. My friends had the meatloaf which they loved and another had the fish and chips which looked great. For dessert. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding which I am expert at. I've had them all over the world. This one was okay. It had a odd taste in the cake so not my favorite. However, the group loved the Irish Apple cake. Go get your grub on

Pub Style restaurant at the Bandon dunes resort. Ordered a burger, medium rare. It came on a pretzel bun bun which was terrible. It was well done. Wedge salad was good. Fish and chips were terrible. Fish came out brown and greasy. Looks like it was prepared with burnt oil. This was our worst meal on the Bandon resort. I don't recommend this place.

A great walk in dinner option after 36 holes, and worth the 40 min wait! We enjoyed drinks from the friendly bar while waiting. The service was good despite the packed room and the menu is classic tavern food-- we ordered a burger, pizzas, and the fish and chips. All enjoyed their food and we left full and happy.

Steak and ale pie topped with mashed potatoes and gravy

Located at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Very efficient service and family friendly. The pie portion was on the small side even with the mashed potatoes and gravy add on. The fish and chips portion was very generous. Fish breading a little too thick for my taste, cole slaw heavy on mayo, but fries were perfectly crispy on outside and soft inside.

Short Rib Poutine - just get it! This was my first trip to Bandon, and while I had high expectations for the golf, I did not expect the food to be so memorable. But honestly, McKee's poutine is the best I've ever had (even compared to those I've tried in Canada). In the same way that Bandon set the standard for beautiful golf courses, McKee's set the standard for poutine: crispy, melty, beefy, well-layered perfection. Aside from the poutine, I tried the Elk Burger, Italian Sausage and Boar Sausage Pizzas, and Grandma's Meatloaf with the meatloaf being my second favorite dish. But honestly, you can't go wrong with any dish at McKee's or anywhere else at Bandon. My one regret is not having enough room to try the pecan pie - I heard rave reviews but unfortunately not until after my trip. Portions are generous at McKee's so make sure to take this into account if thinking about dessert!

I ate at McKee's Pub twice. Both times they were nice enough to move our reservations a little earlier (for party of 9). Both times we stopped at the bar for a cocktail before. At the bar, I also ordered their chili which was very tasty. For dinner entrees I had their meatloaf and Shepards pie. I liked both dishes but may favor the Shepherd's pie since it had some veggies with it although they gave you two pieces of meatloaf. Service was great and ambiance was very nice upstairs. I would return.

My parents spent several nights at McKee's when they stayed on property at Bandon Dunes over the New Year Holiday. We headed here tonight after having a few drinks and some appetizers over at Pacific Grill. They insisted that we order the Scotch Egg to try - I've never had one before. It was very good although the Piccalilli wasn't my cup of tea. For dinner they shared a Wedge Salad and Boar Pizza. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich with fries. All good but not anything extraordinary. If I would have been hungrier I would have tried the Shepherds Pie. We saw several burgers come out of the kitchen that looked great. We capped off the meal with coffee and a Brownie Sundae which was described as having fudge, strawberries and peanuts. Strawberries turned out to be a single strawberry garnish. We were actually pretty disappointed in the brownie. They apparently make it in house. It tasted the way a something that's normally good tastes when you try to make it vegan and dairy free. Bland. The texture was a bit gritty. I'm a huge chocolate lover and I may have had 2 bites. The house made whipped cream on the side was good though. Overall it was a nice experience. The service was great. You can't see the course from the restaurant but if you head out behind the gift shop you will get a stellar view of the golf course and the ocean.

Located on the world famous Bandon Links golf course on the mighty Pacific Ocean Oregon coast. Wonderful hospitality and ambience was our experience yesterday. We sat outside in the courtyard. As the temperature plummeted ....sun retreating and ocean's influence...wind blowing ...our hosts lit the great outdoor fire. A DELICIOUS house WINE, Williamette Valley pinot gris labelled Bandon 16 served by Michael. Just a delightful and special experience for us. Food looked amazing, on this occasion just here for pre dinner drinks, we noted golfers and guest trickling into McKee 's. Great menu. Good wine list at "not silly prices", considering the location on a luxury property, we felt the value was fair. Highest recommendations. Would return

Good service, basically pub food. Good beer selection. Basically what you would expect a pub on a golf course to look / feel like

Food was abundant but no better than average. Wait staff catered to the white men in the room.

Much to my surprise, there is a vibrant music scene along the southern Oregon coast. Nestled among the coastal communities sits Mr. Ed's, a pub that has become a gathering place for locals, travelers, and musicians alike. Ed Houck--proprietor, bartender, restaurateur, and, as we soon discovered, music enthusiast--runs the place. The establishment is part pub, part family restaurant. The walls are lined with guitars, ukuleles, mandolins, and other stringed instruments, giving the place the feel of a community music hall. Local artists and patrons alike are welcome to pick up an instrument and play. The food is simple, hearty pub fare: a surprisingly good cheese pizza, breakfast burritos served all day, and an assortment of savory meat pies. Nothing pretentious--just honest comfort food that fits the atmosphere perfectly. On a Thursday evening stop during our travels, we were treated to an unexpected showcase of local talent. Musicians took turns on the small stage, accompanied by a simple drum beat and the encouragement of friends and family gathered around the room. From what I could tell, the restaurant is a true family operation, run by Ed and his daughter. The sense of community was unmistakable. This place appealed to me at my very core. It was a genuine slice of Americana. Ed may not appreciate me drawing attention to this little coastal enclave, but I want the world to know about it--a place where neighbors gather, families cheer on performers, and music is shared simply for the joy of it. We watched as Janine checked a lifelong item off her bucket list by performing at her first open mic night, singing a song dedicated to her child. As the evening progressed and community members stepped away from the stage, Ed and a friend pulled instruments from the wall, settled onto a pair of stools, and treated everyone to a few instrumental performances of their own. Suddenly, I found myself enjoying one of the best beers and one of the best slices of pizza of the trip, surrounded by authentic small-town charm and the unmistakable spirit of Americana in a coastal Oregon town.

Good selection of local beer on tape and we had a small Hawaiian pizza mixed reviews on that- I liked it, husband did not. He couldn't pin point if it was the sauce, type of cheese or the crust. One persons happy pizza can easily be another's disappointment- try it for yourself to decide! Would love to come back for the music and try something else on the menu.
