They offer an array of entrees that vary from a Mexican theme with tacos to a Hawaiian theme with macaroni salad that definitely is island inspired. They have good old straight barbecue as well. We tried a variety of items from tacos to chicken to pulled pork. For sides we tried the mac salad and pit beans. Everything was excellently prepared and they were generous with the serving sizes. My only critique was I thought the beans could have been flavored a little better. They were good, but some pulled pork in the beans could go a long way to upping the flavor. They weren't bad, just weren't special. Eating on the boardwalk overlooking the bay was a great experience. It really added an atmosphere you don't often associate with a barbecue joint. I make several trips to Coos Bay a year usually and this will continue to be a must visit for me and my family.

We've been there 3 times and had great food, service and drinks with BYRON as our bartender/server on our first visit. He even pumped up the volume for us when we played music from the "jukebox". The following two visits, we experienced poorly made drinks and a non-friendly male server and bartender and the music could barely be heard. We will absolutely stop by again but won't stick around unless Byron is working! (Maybe Byron should give lessons to the other staff members!)
