Nice folks making tasty food! From food truck, eat outside or take to go. Recommend the veggie burrito

Wonderfully authentic and good service! The shrimp tacos are really good and the salsa has just the right amount of heat.

Received a generous serving filled with lots of moist, tender and flavorful meat with onions and lots of cilantro.

The Torta Ahogada (drowned) was incredible. I got it with the lengua on it. Nice big tender chunks…read moreof meat, unlike most taquerias. The red cream sauce on top was divine. A knife and fork kind of meal. Whole family agreed after trying. This is a special sandwich, and well worth the price of admission. The staff was friendly. The wait was not bad at all. I will be back.

My husband and we're in Sutherland on the 29th of January and stopped by Huele a Tacos on advise…read morefrom a work friend of my husband, so we had high hopes. We ordered a pork tamale, a cheese tamale and a chicken tamale. Also we ordered a bowl of menudo, a burrito(that was the size of a (preemie baby) ridiculously big and not in a good way. and a chili relleno . We took it home to eat it and the bag was completely soaked in the relleno juice. So it was on everything. We received 3 chicken tamales not a pork or a cheese. The chili relleno was in like a red soup (that threw me off) and it was covered in big slimy onions and peppers and cheese my mom and I shared that , we both took one bite each and threw the rest away. The chicken tamale was good I wish I would have received the pork and cheese that I had ordered so I could have tried those as well. My husband said his burrito was decent nothing to write home about except how ridiculously big it was. So all in all it wasn't a great experience and we agreed we'd never go back. It wasn't busy so I don't know how he got our order wrong. I'm going to chuck it up to lack of care and I'm not sure how the Menudo went for my husband. He took it to work today. So he gave us a container of frozen menudo (not fresh) and my husband didn't take it to work because of that. So I heated it up when he got home and it was disgusting, it was tripe, (huge chunks of tripe)hamony and water down tomato sauce. No meat, no spices. I begged him not to eat it it looked so gross but he did because he paid for it I would be ashamed if I were them, selling that.

This is it! Aztlan has the best Mexican food on the Oregon coast!…read more From Google AI: "Aztlán is the mythical ancestral home of the Aztec (Mexica) peoples" Aztlan (the restaurant) delivers delicious and authentic Mexican food in an unassuming and caring, family friendly environment. "Home" in other words: The restaurant is family owned and operated and has earned an outstanding reputation over the years for offering delicious meals and fostering a sense of community and belonging. The moment that my party entered the restaurant and were greeted by Elvia, I felt welcome and very much like part of the family (although one who wasn't expected to do their own dishes)! LOL Unlike some Mexican restaurants, the ambiance as well as the lighting is bright and cheery. Aztlan has nothing to hide, and you can actually read the menu! (This is always a plus). On display are many antiques (or perhaps artifacts) that add to the ambiance and authenticity of the restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic. On my last night in town (which was my third meal at Aztlan), I ordered a "ToGo" for dinner the following night. Even after 400+ miles in an ice chest, the last dinner was delicious. The menu at Aztlan is extensive. But if by chance, the menu should not list the exact item or combination you want, I suggest you ask. I did, and I was not disappointed. Please visit Aztlan if you are anywhere near Reedsport Oregon. The family takes great pride in serving both their old and new friends with wonderful food. Aztlan presents wonderful authentic atmosphere, and even better, great food. I will come back as often as I possibly can.

After an 8 1/2-hour drive from La Push to Coos Bay, this place was exactly what we needed…read more We stopped at this restaurant right off US-101, just 30 minutes before reaching Coos Bay--no detour at all. Delicious comfort food, ice-cold Mexican beers, and outstanding service. Elvia was amazing--so kind and welcoming, even 45 minutes before closing on a Monday night. We loved everything: enchiladas, tacos, burritos, chips, salsa, guacamole, and nieve frita for dessert. My daughter was craving fried eggs, and Elvia happily fulfilled her request, even adding special rice and beans. Highly recommend! We'll definitely be back one day.
