My husband and we're in Sutherland on the 29th of January and stopped by Huele a Tacos on advise from a work friend of my husband, so we had high hopes. We ordered a pork tamale, a cheese tamale and a chicken tamale. Also we ordered a bowl of menudo, a burrito(that was the size of a (preemie baby) ridiculously big and not in a good way. and a chili relleno . We took it home to eat it and the bag was completely soaked in the relleno juice. So it was on everything. We received 3 chicken tamales not a pork or a cheese. The chili relleno was in like a red soup (that threw me off) and it was covered in big slimy onions and peppers and cheese my mom and I shared that , we both took one bite each and threw the rest away. The chicken tamale was good I wish I would have received the pork and cheese that I had ordered so I could have tried those as well. My husband said his burrito was decent nothing to write home about except how ridiculously big it was. So all in all it wasn't a great experience and we agreed we'd never go back. It wasn't busy so I don't know how he got our order wrong. I'm going to chuck it up to lack of care and I'm not sure how the Menudo went for my husband. He took it to work today. So he gave us a container of frozen menudo (not fresh) and my husband didn't take it to work because of that. So I heated it up when he got home and it was disgusting, it was tripe, (huge chunks of tripe)hamony and water down tomato sauce. No meat, no spices. I begged him not to eat it it looked so gross but he did because he paid for it I would be ashamed if I were them, selling that. read more

Super consistent and delicious street tacos. We like that they come with a side of pickled jalapeño and sliced carrots too, nice touch! The Oregon burrito is pretty good as well. I recently tried the #18 which is one enchilada with two rolled tacos that includes a dollop of sour cream, guacamole, and a side of rice and beans. Enchilada was good, but wasn't sure what to expect with the rolled tacos...they were fried, and just not my cup of tea. We'll be back for the street tacos for sure! The beans and rice were so good! We got them as a side. I got the chicken tacos and they had good flavor and were balanced but I did find a bone in it. You can tell it's all stewed together probably as a whole chicken so that's too be expected sometimes but it definitely wasn't pleasant. Overall I'll give it a try again another day. read more

Pro tip: they put a crap ton of sour cream on the veg burrito. So if you're a normal person and you want a normal amount of sour cream, then ask them to go light on the sour. read more

I love the street tacos from here. I usually choose carne asada, chicken, or shredded beef. They put beans on these tacos and now when I have tacos at other places, I miss the beans. Wow! I do not frequent food trucks, but after seeing several families congregating night after night, I had to stop and try it. The bean and cheese burrito and the fish tacos with homemade tortillas were amazing! I "tasted" a border town in California. This was some of the best Mexican food I've had in years. I have eaten here at least once a week if not more over the past 3 years. I noticed that they have put in a new parking lot and apparently added upgrades to the outside to add more space for diners. Something has changed. When I go there now, I see employees that I have never seen before. The food quality has declined. The last 3 chimichangas I got had barely any filling in them. Previously they were generously filled. Not only were they mostly bean when I ordered shredded beef, the inside of the tortilla was a raw, soggy and gross mess. I am very sad that they have declined so quickly and consistently. I am going to miss eating there. read more

Thinking I'm a long way north and I doubt this little town will boast any authentic Mexican food but loving the taco trucks in my hometown I should give it a try Wow !
