My current favorite is the Greek salad with chicken breast - perfect blend of flavors. I often order the Caesar as well, with a generous portion of salad added on besides. I'm often tempted by the woodfired pizza options; the Pizza of the Week is always a great choice. Glad they have a low-carb/GF crust option. The staff there at Timbers are the best; super friendly, and helpful. Looking forward to the back entrance to open up again after construction, for the beautiful bay view on the way to the Timbers.

I had the egg breakfast with sausage and asked for my hashbrowns to be crispy. Not many places fix my hashbrowns as good as the cook at Timbers did. Really happy. My wife had the eggs benedict breakfast and the eggs and ham breakfast. She really liked her meals. The place is very clean and has a chill environment. I heard some people complaining about the service at the bakery/specialty coffee area, but I didn't have any issues. From what I heard there was no communication on who was going to blend the specialty coffees. Another nice perk is you can get free drinks here. Coffee, tea, sodas, etc.

My partner and I stopped by the other day while visiting town. We were after some coffee a snack to…read moretide us over through the lunch hour. On the upside, I liked the building a lot. It is located in an older building right on the main highway just as it gets into town. It has a lot of promise. Service was friendly, and the coffee quality was good (I had an oat milk latte extra-hot, which was prepared well). I'm taking a few stars off for two reasons, though. The first is the food quality. I had an order of Avocado Toast, which was uninspiring. It was just a single piece of bread, with some avocado spread (I doubt it was from a fresh avocado) sort of slapped on. I didn't taste much in the way of salt, pepper, or other seasonings. If they aren't going to stock whole avocados, I'd suggest they take the avocado toast off the menu. The second reason for taking a few stars off, though, is the the atmosphere. There are religious materials for sale (meh), and I suspect that helped attract a crowd of people that, frankly, I'd rather not be around. The tables on both sides of us were talking about the glory of Elon Musk, forcibly deporting people, etc. Obviously a coffee shop isn't responsible for the obnoxious beliefs and conversations of their patrons, though I suspect that they attract that crowd through the religious materials they sell.

This place is straight cheeks. My matcha was brown! The smoothie bowl was huge, but the only…read moretoppings were coconut flakes and granola. Costly smoothie bowls from MOST coffee shops come with nut butter, an array of fruit on the top, and granola; this place is not like most coffee shops and I don't mean that in a good way. The avocado toast came with one small piece of toast and had hard boiled egg chunks on it! Same with the breakfast burrito- way too much onion, hard boiled egg chunks, and ham slices (deli or not- who knows?). Also- the hot coffee does not taste good, which is disappointing for a coffee shop. I'm sure the locals love it for good reason, but as a traveler passing through, it's thoroughly unimpressive. As a Catholic, I love God, but I find the decor to be overbearing. Eating does not need to be a religious experience, but this cafe forces it to become one. It can create an uncomfortable environment for people who are not religious or identify with a different faith. It's perfectly acceptable to decorate your home however you wish, but a business meant for public attraction should not be as overly religious as this cafe was.
