Eric wanted a small tuna with lettuce and onions salt/pepper and I got a small chicken salad and sandwich with lettuce. He said it would be a minute (finished up burgers on Texas toast) and I went hunting for drinks. I dropped them at the counter with Sue (cashier) and went back to the food counter to wait. Now Chris was hustling at the food counter alone and Sue was at the register alone and she was busy between cashing everyone out, refilling various condiments for the pre-made sandwiches and salads but I could hear others talking from the office. 3 other employees sitting in the office chatting away with each other and doing nothing. I honestly felt bad for the 2 busting it out front. Here comes Eric's sandwich and omg it looked delicious . I was ALMOST bummed I hadn't ordered it but then came my chicken salad looking just as yummy. After paying I headed to the site to eat and WOW it was good. $6.99 for a small chicken salad sandwich which could have easily fed me twice (fed me and the dog and still could've eaten it again later if there wasn't mayo on it) but it was scrumptious. I'd definitely order again if Chris was behind the food counter

The cooks make some of the most amazing breakfast pizza I think on the face of the planet. I love it! It's only 18$ for a large ! They used to have a shorter skinny fellow who it's thick glasses that used to ruin it with chow a bacon bits to the point it couldn't be cut! No more though! I stop pretty frequently when I'm a double at work for a slice in the am! They also have all kinds of other hot breakfast meals, sometimes they even have French toast sticks ! They have dogs and burgers, they have a lot of the same things most gas stations have. Because they are a nuria they have an app that you can get free water and coffee daily off of, and freebies every Friday. Pretty awesome !!! Most Harry's look the same inside, nothing overly special but always tidy, clean and smelling good. Check them out !!!

Atmosphere is great, Service is decent, kitchen wait times are long and the food is decent at best…read more I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and it was the poorest looking sandwich I've ever laid my eyes on. Cost is $18 and you'll receive 3 little chicken pieces, 2 tomatoes, 2 pieces of lettuce and two giant slices of bread. The chicken does not fill the sandwich, in between each bite, you'll get a big bite of bread. The sandwich also came with a choice of fries or side salad which consisted of cucumbers and tomatoes. I wasn't going to say anything to the waitress, but after a friend pointed out how skimpy it looked- I had to speak up. The waitress was nice enough, but I should've asked to speak with the manager as the sandwich was just a straight up disappointment. The presentation of the crispy chicken looked like a child made it. The best time to go there is during happy hour to take advantage of the deals, but I suggest not going during regular operation hours as the prices do not match the quality. Beer was great though.

My family and I stopped by Bambino's Wood Fire Kitchen while we were visiting Maine for my son's…read morethird birthday, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed. Thankfully, there was one table left, and since they have a "seat yourself" policy, we grabbed it just in time. Even though they were incredibly busy, we were welcomed warmly and never felt rushed. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. As for the food!!! absolutely outstanding. My friend ordered the Bambino's pizza, I ordered the Margherita, and my son chose a classic cheese pizza. When my Margherita arrived, my 3yr old looked at it and asked, "Mommy, can I try it?" I laughed because he's never liked Margherita pizza before. I told him he probably wouldn't enjoy it, but he insisted. WELL... I was completely wrong. After one bite, my pizza officially became his pizza. He ate the entire thing and left me happily enjoying his cheese pizza instead! If you're a parent, you know how picky toddlers can be, so watching him finish a whole Margherita pizza spoke volumes about how fresh and delicious the food truly was. Since it was his birthday, he asked if he could have cake. They only had tres leches, which ended up being the perfect choice. It was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to celebrate. One of the things that made this visit so memorable was meeting one of the owners. She took the time to introduce herself, ask how we found the restaurant, and share the story behind Bambino's. Hearing about the passion, hard work, and heart that went into opening the restaurant made the experience even more special. She spoke about how important fresh ingredients are to her and even shared what makes her tres leches recipe unique. You could genuinely feel how much she loves what she does. It's honestly hard to believe this restaurant has been open for less than a year. The quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the level of hospitality felt like a place that has been perfecting its craft for decades. If you're visiting Maine or you're lucky enough to live nearby, I can't recommend Bambino's Wood Fire Kitchen enough. Just be prepared, it gets busy, and now I understand why. Every pizza is made with care, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the people behind the restaurant truly make you feel like family. Thank you to the owner for sharing your story with us and for making my son's birthday meal one we'll always remember. We've already recommended Bambino's to friends who are traveling to the area, and we'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Maine. Some restaurants serve great food. Others create memories. Bambino's does both.

But when you call to order (the menu on the website is outdated and incorrect), a few things can happen after being immediately placed on hold: (1) you may be hung up on, or (2) you may wait for 10 minutes and then be sent to voicemail. They do not call back from the voicemail of course. I also tried ordering in person. This process is also an unfortunate adventure and full of confusion and rudeness. Pizza has been a rocky road ever since going gluten free because nothing has really been worth it. However, this pizza may single-handedly be the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. We helped a friend move into their new home this weekend in Portland and ordered Portland pie co for dinner after we were all done moving. It was the best decision ever. My boyfriend and his friends are all gluten lovers - they got a garlic crust with cheese, pepperoni, caramelized onions, pineapple, and burnt ends and they all LOVED it. Bonus points for the side of hot honey that they drizzled over the pizza. The two gluten free friends in the group (me included) got a pizza with half feta, pepperoni, and broccoli and half feta, pepperoni, caramelized onions, and green peppers. I am so sad my boyfriend and I live in Boston, because this would be a constant place we hit up for pizza. The pizza was nothing short of perfect and may just land as the best place for gluten free pizza in my heart. My boyfriend rates the gluten pizza as a 9.5/10 I would rate the gluten free pizza as a 10/10 easily. We can't wait to return to Portland for more pizza!
