I selected the kushiyaki, which is a spiced skewer of chicken skin or thigh (I picked thigh). It was delicious and better than similar skewers at Kushiya Benkay. It's also hard to beat the $3.50 price (or $2 for the chicken skin). The onigiri was essentially a scoop of white rice with miso glaze, nuri and eggplant. It was decent flavored rice for $3, though I'd have preferred a fried version. It took 10 minutes to get my order, which was a bit long. Overall though it's solid food and I'd go back. I don't consider myself the target audience, so others would enjoy this even more.

The owner was SUPER sweet and friendly! There were a bunch of specials, but we settled on an order of mozzarella sticks and one order of "totally loaded pizza treats", which seemed like a specialty. The pizza treats were described as 4 pizzas built on rustic rosemary bread with your choice of meat, a bunch of veggies and cheese. We were really pleased with the result. The 4 pizza treats were big, delicious and filling, with plenty for two to share. If you are heading out of one of the local fun/splash parks with a van load of kids, these pizza treats will keep four children happy and quiet, all for the reasonable price of $7.95!!! Bargain pricing when compared with the concession food sold at the parks! They also makes breakfast sandwiches, which could be another life saver for families heading into the parks in the morning. The loaded Greek fries had a generous portion of feta and gyro meat. The prices were really reasonable. We are thrilled that the truck is operating when so much of Portland is closed for the season. During this weekend's soft opening, Amal Ashram Shawarma and Pasta 212 were there. Earlier in the day 88 Donuts was there, but had to leave for Thompson's Point this evening. From a weedy, overgrown lot, to a pleasant spot with picnic tables, restrooms, and flower boxes, this is a winner. We'll definitely be back!

Was excited to find the Farm To Coast food truck recently because I had heard they had a vegan tofu…read morebánh mì (which is my favorite sandwich these days). I ordered two and, while my partner in crime absolutely LOVED his, I wasn't really a fan. The sandwich comes on a baguette and is filled with a slab of coconut curry marinated tofu, pickled veg (like carrots and radishes), spicy vegan mayo, and cilantro. Unfortunately, my bread was pretty burned - as such, that black toast char was the dominating flavor (and smell). It was also the dominating ingredient as the slab of tofu was much smaller than I was expecting. In the end, I tossed the bread and ate just the tofu and veggies (which, again, I wish there had been more of, and much less of the stems of cilantro). Loved the variety of spices that came from the individual components of the jalapenos, the curry, and the spread though! While I was disappointed in the sandwich I got (especially at $11 when compared to sandwiches of similar prices from other food trucks), I still think they're great. The person taking my order was super friendly, the person making the food was engaging, and their passion to use as much fresh, local ingredients as possible is impressive and appreciated. Also the presentation of their food is stunning, and proves that restaurant quality food can come out of a mobile kitchen. While they might not be my first choice, I definitely appreciate what they're creating and the flavor profiles they're exploring!

It's not often that I walk away from a food truck thinking portion sizes align with both the quality and the pricing, but this one nails it. The menu isn't large, but that's because they choose to perfect what they are slinging, putting quality over quantity. Definitely give this place a try... and split the fries!
