Erin greeted me with a warm welcoming at the door when the store opened. She was very pleasant and got the shoes out I had on hold from a phone can the day before. Shawn was the sales representative that took charge of looking after me. I am a long time Ecco customer both in Canada and the US with very fussy feet. I wanted to mention the background because Shawn helped me solve my need for new golf shoes but also provided just the help I needed by listening to provide me with a pair a golf shoes that fit. This is a difficult task as I have flat and hurting feet and like to walk two rounds of golf on occasion. He found me the only pair of ecco golf shoes that fit. The Ecco M Golf core. I was worried I could not find another golf shoe again the same in a year or two. I bought two of them. Shawn then said I should also try another popular new shoe that had kind of the same fit. An employee finally appeared at 9:00 pm on the dot and tells me they are closed. I said I arrived before closing and I only needed to make a return. I don't live near here and their Ontario store wouldn't do the refund because I only had my receipt on their app. They told me there was nothing they could do because they closed all their registers before 9:00 pm. It is unprofessional to shut your doors prior to your advertised closing time. I arrived before close and was denied a return that I am within my right to make based on their policies. I know it's close to their closing time, but as a customer, I feel mislead and extremely disappointed and frustrated. I was offered no explanation why they closed early or try to make a wrong situation right. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism from this store and company. They failed to represent their brand's standards and have left a bad feeling in my heart. :( Today's experience earns this rating. I don't expect them to correct the situation. I really liked this pair of pumps but couldn't find my size, she patiently went to the back of the store twice to help me find my size. So nice!
