I was wondering why Tile Force reviews were so poor. They installed my tile about 15 yrs ago and over all did a good job. Found out quick! Doing a complete remodel on our home and found some wood like porcelain tile I really liked. Their internet site said call for price. So I spoke to this guy and he couldn't find the tile. So I said it has a sku# maybe you can find it if I gave that number. He says what's that...then he goes on to say I don't now why the company keeps putting products in the internet that we don't carried. I don't normally post this stuff but I was little annoyed the fact that I had to call for a price and then they wasn't my time. Lost business! read more

Rudy at Tile Force is super helpful and friendly. We went to Tile Force with a good idea of the material were looking for which was a light colored wood look tile in a wide plank. At other places the tile was double the price! He hooked us up with tile-installer Eleno who was very well priced and very fast worker for the 1650 sq/ft we had done. We are very happy with the overall materials and installation. We will use them again when we decide to redo our master bath. read more

Bought over 3k in materials for 2 restrooms and a kitchen. Had a box of tile to return because you should always buy a bit extra for cuts. Went to return tile which was roughly $40 dollars worth. Was sent to warehouse to return to no avail. They told me to come back later because it was special order and only the person that sold it to me could authorize. The warehouse operator even called the store and told them to check because he knows I have bought there various times. I informed the warehouse operator I had one of the store guys give me a 3k quote for vinyl flooring a couple of days back which I was going to buy. They don't care. Never got a call back. I was remodeling the Kitchen in my house. I needed some Tile for the Kitchen's backsplash. I was looking for some Travertine or Porcelain tiles. I checked out several Tile stores on Main Street. I found Tile Force to be one of the cheapest, and having one of the better selections. Tile Force carries Ceramic Tile, Porcelain, Stone Travertine, and a couple of Exotic Stones from Italy and Brazil. selection: yes. customer service: no. The moment I walked in, I was looking for a specific white tile. The guy saw me walk in, didn't immediately ask me if I needed help, no biggie. So I continued to look for what I needed. When I was finally asked and told the guy that I needed a white tile, he showed me one tile, which was matte. The matte finish wasn't what I needed so I asked if they had anymore white tile. He said that was it, sat down, and continued to watch football! Sure enough, I continued to search through the shop and found what I needed... by myself! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I did purchase what I needed... a small order of tile, but in the future, for a few more bucks, I would go somewhere else with better customer service. read more

2 stars because they beat the prices of the flooring places down the street and the order came in on time... This was about one month ago.. BUT the overall customer service experience sucked... Sales guy was extremely pushy trying to get me to have their guys install the flooring... And then seemed insulted when I didn't want installation.. I asked simply if they carried base boards and the sales guy made it sound like my installer didn't know what he was doing if I had to buy base boards... I finally had to tell him my uncle was installing the floors and it was a simple question... I asked another simple question: do they deliver flooring??? I received another sarcastic remark that usually an installer will pick up and deliver! Again I had to relay the message that my uncle was doing ME the favor on the weekends so I was just asking! He then said he would deliver but he was going to charge me... I just said I would have a friend pick it up ... If he would have told me that in the first place instead of making a sarcastic remark, I might have paid him to deliver the flooring... Today I walked in and the only sales guy took care of everyone else in the store since he already knew I wanted to order an extra Tmolding.... Then he said he was going to charge me more in shipping fees than the part... he said he would charge me the fed ex fee which was more than the damn part... I just walked out at this point... These guys have no sense of customer service... It's a simple cost of doing business to keep a customer happy... I wanted to come back to get granite countertops but not anymore! read more

I got material from here when we remodeled our bathroom in 2018 so I decided to give it a second shot for our guest room. The employee was alone which we completely understood. We waited 30mins for help and when another gentleman came in to help out, he was sent to another couple who had JUST walked in. We then proceeded to ask for help, he didn't bother to apologize for the misunderstanding or even say "someone will be right with you" instead he said "I'm busy" and didn't even look up at us. read more

Horrible customer service and high pricing. Needed 2 12x12 pieces of white carrera marble. Sales clerk said he had one 12x24 piece and was going to charge me $21 for it "because it's basically 2 pcs". Save yourself the irritation and go 1/8 of a mile West to Tile and Stone Chula Vista and get better customer service, better selection AND BETTER pricing. I got my 2 tiles for $10. read more

You get what you pay for here. Low prices but no guarantees. They don't take back any extra product even if it was quantities, Rudy, the owner recommended. I was not happy about this. In my opinion, these guys are the rudest people I have dealt with in the tile business and very unprofessional. They forgot to place my order pushing back my remodel over a week. They simple forgot to place it. And have workers there who will try to talk you into doing the tile job when they are NOT tile installers. read more

I purchased travertine additional material from Rudy for a bathroom remodel. He assure me I was getting a grate price for the materials and the lowest he could sell them. The same day I see the same materials at Lowes for one third less. I bought samples from Lowes and took the samples and receipt to Tile and Stone Force to get a price adjustment. No price adjustment. No custumer service. No ethics. What a nightmare, their return policy has a 25% restoking fee and they hide behind it.. What happens if you have extra material? You are stuck with it or you lose 25%. What a rip off!! Their material on display do not have a price marked. You have to wheel and deal and hope you are not taken. Be aware of the lip service and the justifications for taking you for a ride. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR MATERIAL FROM THIS PLACE AND DO NOT USE THEIR INSTALLERS THAT THEY REFER YOU TO!!!! THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I RARELY LEAVE REVIEWS, BUT I HAVE HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. Rudy was the main person we dealt with and he was really rude to us when we first came in and pretty much ignored us. He finally started talking to us when he realized we were serious buyers and made the purchase. We purchased all our material there, including the travertine tile, laminate flooring, bullnose molding, t moulding, mortar.... EVERYTHING! Anyway, we had put in 2 different orders for the t moulding because we ran out of it. The first order came in, and it matched the bullnose molding. Both were a slightly lighter color than the laminate flooring, but didn't mind the contrast. Then, when the 2nd order came in, it was a completely different color! They would not allow us to return it, even though it was their mistake!!!! We spent thousands of dollars there, so I would've at least expected them to allow us to return it. Also, if you do decide to go there, PLEASE PLEASE do not use the installers they refer you to!!! I made a huge mistake by using someone they referred us to, Daniel, who was actually sitting in the store at the time we purchased the material. I think he sits in the store to bait his customers. I say this because we spoke to someone that used him, and that's exactly how they met him too. Daniel was very responsive in the beginning when he tried getting our business, answered our phone calls, responded to text messages. Then when the job started, he hardly ever responded to us. He subcontracted his work out to someone else, and Daniel only came around when it came time to collect money! He didn't even do a final walk through! We changed the flooring on our staircase, and didn't even paint the side walls! There was liquid nail left on some of the laminate flooring, and we had A LOT of material left over! Also, he picked up the 2nd t moulding order for us and didn't even contact us for a week, even after we texted him and called him and left messages. Overall, I've had a HORRIBLE experience with both Stone and Tile Force and Daniel. I would've rather had spent a few hundred dollars more to receive great customer service. read more

I had a very good experience with this company. I bought 1100 sf of tile. I dealt with Rudy who was very friendly and easy to work with. He even gave me a discount on top of the sale price. He recommended the installer who's name is Hector. He did a very good job, was always trying to please me and very respectful. There was a minor issue during demo, but he quickly corrected the problem. read more

I have been going to Tile Force for years. As a DIYer, I found the people to be very helpful in selection and advice. They have great prices and a good selection. There are some limitations, but they can be overcome. read more
