Kao Soi. Thai Yellow Curry Noodle Soup.

How have I never written a review for Tiks?! I've been eating her for a least a decade! They are super friendly and the place is beautiful. Truly some of my favorite Thai food around! Pad Thai is a go to but I recently tried the Kao Soi and it might be my new favorite: Choice of meat. Thai Yellow Curry Noodle Soup. Big bowl of steamed noodles in yellow curry broth soup with cilantro, onions, and carrots with crunchy noodles on top.

Food was amazing. Servers and owner so kind and sweet. You must come during lunch they have an amazing deal!

Pad Thai with crab Rangoon and egg rolls

Fantastic. Richelle got the Pad Thai, spicy level 2, I only tried a bit and it was good. I decided to do something different and get a curry dish. I have never had a Thai curry dish, but it was wonderful. I got the Dayton Curry with shrimp: Thai yellow curry sauce in coconut milk with potato, red & green bell pepper, onion, pineapple, mango, carrot and basil leaves. Served with jasmine rice. Thai curry is more soupy then Indian curry. The sweet coconut balance the heat, I got spicy level 2 and found it to be just where I like spiciness, I might even be able to go to three. I poured my Dayton curry over the rice and ate it with a spoon. We also got an order of crab Rangoon and edamame, egg rolls all are good.

Food/Drink: Amazing! Heat was on par! Flavors were amazing, portions were good! Boba was great, Thai tea was flavorful too. Prices: Not outrageous. Kitchen: everything was out quick and easy, everything was cooked correctly, and nothing was at a weird temperature. Bathrooms: Very clean, and smelled good. Plenty of stalls, and urinals. Paper towel and toilet paper were stocked! Atmosphere: Very quiet, tranquil, and chill. Staff/Attendants: She was very pleasant, very attentive and personable.

Hubs and I were staying in the Fairborn area and needed a quick bite to eat before a concert at Fraze Pavilion. This place was good, if a little pricey. I ordered a shrimp Tom yum soup that was $20ish - higher than what I'd typically pay either at my local Thai places in the Seattle area, or my former stomping grounds in SF. Still, it was tasty, and I'd get it again. Hubs and I both also ordered the fresh rolls with shrimp, which we both enjoyed as well. The overall menu seemed a little limited compared to what I'm used to, but that said, if we were ever in the area again, we'd definitely eat here. Good service, nice ambiance, plenty of parking.

Everything we ordered from here was DELICIOUS. It was way fancier inside than I thought it would be. Boyfriend got pad see ew that had the perfect amount of salty/sweet. I got chicken fried rice that was also so freaking good! Both got spice level three (both of us love spicy food) and we are curious about the hotter levels but still want to enjoy the food so three was perfect. Boyfriend also got chicken wings and they are CRISPY and delicious. Comes with sweet chili sauce that is also DELICIOUS. I was surprised by how much we liked everything. It wasn't just good..... it was GOOOD. Definitely a new go to.

Just as good as Thai 9. But less expensive. Small place but we get carry out and it's always good.

It looks a little sketch from the outside but it's honestly some of the best Thai in Ohio. My go to.

Great daily lunch specials. The place is a little small but the food is good. Highly recommend for lunch if you're in the area.

It's a lot bigger inside than I thought it appeared outside. The decor was cute. She always gets panang curry-it's her favorite. I got the pad kee mao (Drunken Noodles), my usual first dish for a Thai place. My noodles were thinner than what I usually get but I really liked it. My dish also had a great balance of vegetables and protein. I appreciated the spice level reflecting the 4/5 I requested. I was a bit concerned about this because the server reiterated the 5 scale when I ordered. My sister thought her curry was a bit spicy for her requested "1" spice level but not far enough out there to be an issue. Service was efficient and we never ran out of water-especially important with the spicy food! Portions and price were good-I ate all of mine but really shouldn't have, and with tip, spent ~$40 altogether. We didn't get drinks or an appetizer. I visit the area often enough and am looking forward to returning to try other dishes on the menu. Hopefully we will have a larger group to split an order of Dayton Rolls. It was hard to pass on these.

In fact, it felt a little rushed with our empty dishes whisked away and our bill brought out without asking if we would like anything else. There weren't people waiting and it wasn't crowded so there was no reason to turn over our table so quickly. Thai 9 is a large restaurant with several dining rooms which helps some with noise but it's pretty loud, especially with servers clunking dishes around. The dining room could use some sort of sound dampening. Our sushi was pretty good but the spicy tuna was less spicy that we expected. I would order it again for sure though. The chicken satay was moist and very tasty, will get that again as well.

The manager Jeff** was off putting and not very personable. My dish was still missing major components after his help so I just boxed it to go. In addition one of the woman clearing tables smelled like B.O. and heavy fragrance. She didn't have on a uniform and was wearing a tiny jacket which might explain the combo of smells. Avoid. A really bad dining experience that could have been mitigated with patience and actually listening during ordering process. Edit: The managers name is actually *Cody. Not sure why he lied about it. Real jerk. I'm all for neurodivergent people being employed but Jeff/Cody got combative and followed me outside the restaurant. Not a safe space.
