Went to this place with a friend after hearing good things about it. This place has authentic Indian street food, beverages, and desserts as well as Indian fusion pizza. I ordered the Aloo tiki chaat since I really liked the Papdi chaat at a different Indian restaurant. The Aloo tiki chaat was really flavorful with the different chutneys, yogurt, and onion it came with. I received quite a bit of food for a cheap price, like less than $14! There are some seating options in the restaurant. The downside to when I went there the bathroom was dirty and made me uncomfortable to have to go in there, I can tell it doesn't get cleaned on a regular basis.

Very friendly staff! The food here is always delicious and so fresh. They load up the plates and is such a good value. All the meats are very tender. If you tell them you have an allergy, they'll let you know exactly what you can and can't eat. Inside is very clean with a chill vibe. Also very cool that they have Indian beers available. If you've never had Indian, this is an easy entry into it before you get into more authentic stuff. Love this place.

The food for Tikka Tangy was pretty solid. They definitely have a lot of food options and also the portions were a lot! Service was solid, one down side was that I did have to wait 20 mins extra for my online order, but the staff did accommodate me thankfully so I will say that they were very nice so I am thankful for that. The area is a great nice life stop, or even noon lunch stop. Inside is clean and is great for small parties.

Food was fresh and filling. They are generous with the naan, I was able to share with my boyfriend and still had some for leftovers. Service was attentive, it did take a second to get the food even though there were only two parties in the restaurant (including us). Ambiance was spacious, no big complaints.

The food was delicious especially the tangy cauliflower bites appetizer! I had the traditional Indian plate which was pretty tasty and my friend had the chicken and lamb shawarma with the cilantro sauce she said it was decent however she would probably try with a different sauce. The service was okay the server didn't really check on us we had to keep getting his attention for service, however he did help make recommendations upon ordering. It's a cute quaint restaurant and recently updated look. The music in the background was popping though!

This is a new location for this chain. We came on a Saturday and it was packed, sadly it was also a training day for the team, so service was not good. BUT the food is wonderful! The exterior is mirrored and the signage is a temp one, so it was hard to tell if we were in the right place. Once inside, we sat at one of the high top tables and got water. Disposable cups and we had to repeatedly ask for refills during our stay. But that food! We ordered 2 different appetizers and a pizza. Only 1 app came out and the pizza showed up soon after. Both were flavorful and spicy! We had to ask for cutlery and then ordered a rose boba tea to try and have something to drink. (Again, water refills were tough to get, they were running around very busy!) Turns out the rose and strawberry boba are the same, which was a surprise. Bill came out eventually and we paid at the table. Suggestions to the owners/managers! If you remove the high top table by the door (the one directly in the air vent that can't balance right) and added a station for people to get their own water, to go boxes and cutlery, you would save your team a lot of running around and let the customers handle it for them. I'd also suggest having 1 person dedicated as the food runner/dining room attendant, 1 on orders and everyone else in the kitchen. Food was great and with a little training and tweets, this place will be around and successful for a long time! Menu had all kinds of stuff to try, looking forward to another visit!

One of the strangest menus I've ever encountered. Usually, when a restaurant offers too eclectic a diversity of dishes they don't do any of the choices well. Here's the exception, they have 5 Indian entrees three of them chicken each comes with rice and would be good for one or two people. They have some fried appetizers, only two of which are Indian. I think maybe only one tikka dish and it's not chicken tikka. The Spicy chicken is good, so is the channa massala. The falafel, which is not South Asian, is not served to share, comes on a bed of Middle Eastern style rice and is very good. The masala pizza, the very thought of which previously caused me to avoid entire restaurants and even whole neighborhoods, was ordered by a tween in my group who insisted it was good and talked me into trying a piece. Well really more of a dare. And to my enormous surprise, I really liked it. This is not an Indian restaurant, it's not a fusion restaurant, it's not authentic in the conventional culinary geography sense, but it really is quite good. They serve metal utensils, ceramic dishes, Indian serving bowls, all good. Beverages come in plastic, with plastic straws, not good. Service is accurate and efficient.

I was looking at new places to try and decided to give Tikka Tangy a go because I was very interested in the Indian pizza fusion! We ordered two pizzas (around 12-13" each) and I really enjoyed the Masala pizza with chicken. You get to pick your own toppings but the butter masala base was very flavorful and tasted like a combination of cheesy naan and butter chicken. The pizzas are a little pricey but can easily feed 2 people. I look forward to going back and trying some of their shawarma options as well!

Staff was SO nice, could tell they were trying their best to serve everyone at lunchtime quickly. Food was worth it-- delicious. The cauliflower bites had this cilantro sauce that we ended up putting on everything. Game changer! The spicy schezwan pizza was my favorite! So many flavors, and super cheesy; I loveee spicy things and this delivered for me. Yummy teas, too, that they serve you in nice containers. Pretty small place inside, but they have a cute little patio that overlooks the scenic cwe streets (and Jenni's right across, so save room for dessert).

My wife wanted Indian cuisine for her birthday so we decide on Tikka Tangy. These guys didn't disappoint. Food was great. I had the lamb and chicken mix with rice. My wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer. I had a taste of hers and it was great. Customer service was impeccable. It was a very quiet cozy place. Not a very busy place as far as indoor dining. We did come on a Sunday so it could be different. However, they did receive a lot of DoorDash Uber Eats orders. I would visit again.

Samosa chaat (make sure to get spicy) is solid but gets soggy quick. Lamb over rice and curries were solid as well.

I read other reviews and immediately that I wanted to try their lemonade with mint, which was heavenly. It was extremely refreshing, not too sweet, not too sour, tiny chopped leaves of mint floating around like confetti. I ordered the lamb shank, a plate of pickles, and also ordered falafel and avocado dip to go. The lamb was very well seasoned and fall of the bone tender. The accompanying cucumber bits in yogurt sauce was refreshing. The side of mushrooms with carrots and corn kernels that came with the dish was mediocre, particularly since the consistency and look of the mushrooms looked like they came from a can, but I may be wrong. The plate of pickles was delightful. I will admit that I was very disappointed because I had read that lentil soup would be complementary with main dishes when anyone dined in until 4 PM, but I'd never had any lentil soup at all, unless I am mistaken about the offer. Service was fast, even though there was only one server, who was, by the way, very polite and attentive. All in all, I will be back and I might actually end up being regular here.

The ambiance inside was like a cozy cafe with Mediterranean vibes, especially at the register. We were seated and already knew what we wanted. I ordered an Arnold Palmer, and the mint in the lemonade was refreshingly delicious. For my meal, I opted for the Chicken and Beef Combo. The grilled chicken kabob was incredibly tasty, and the beef kabob was bursting with flavor. It was served with rice, grilled tomato, and a cucumber and tomato salad, all of which complemented the main dishes beautifully. The tzatziki sauce was some of the best I've had in the city. This place is always bustling, and I can see why. The food was absolutely delicious, and my leftovers were just as good as they were when I first ate them. I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu on my next visit, which will be sooner rather than later since every dish I saw looked mouthwatering. We waited around 20-30 minutes to get a table to accommodate the 7 people in our party. We stood around by the entrance while we waited. When we were finally seated, they put us on the second dining room which has a better ambiance and much more quieter than the main dining room. Someone brought us a pitcher of water which fell slightly short of giving all 7 of us full glasses. Some of us ordered their lemonade mix. I had the one with pomegranate which tasted fresh and made in house. We shared 3 different appetizers: babaganoush, hummus and saksuka. They brought us a basket of naan. They were huge and still warm. The only thing I would have asked for would have been that the naans be cut into smaller pieces so people are not touching naans that others will have to eat. Our appetizers were all excellent. The babaganoush, specifically has fantastic flavors. This might have been the best babaganoush I have ever tasted! For my entree, I ordered the lamb kabob served with some dressed rice and salad. Okay, usually I don't care for rice. It's bland and pretty boring but they actually seasoned their rice here so well that I've completely forgotten I was eating rice. The kabob was so flavorful like it has been marinating for a while. The meat was tender and juicy. We didn't do any dessert as we were all very full in the end. At least 4 out of 7 brought home leftovers. My one friend had made a comment about his pilau being larger than his head! Service was good. You pay up front. If you come in with a large party and ask to split the check, they charge $1 per card. We asked to have our bill split 7 ways and then 2, 2, 2 and 1. She said she understood but then did the math wrong anyway. We didn't bother and just paid the even quarter split and my friends refunded me the difference. Other than a few nuisances, it was a great dining experience. No joke, this place has some seriously good eats. And to be honest, I can't wait to come back!

The server seemed annoyed with being there, never asked my husband if he wanted a refill, took forever to check on us, and messed up the bill, which I didn't catch until after signing it. I've been to plenty of fine dining restaurants where our server has introduced themselves and asked about the occasion, and this place did none of that. Esca has the service of a fast casual restaurant- zero rapport with the customer. Oh and I was charged a 20% service fee. Super tacky to do that for a table of two at a nice restaurant. Bruschetta was such a small portion and flavorless. The artichokes claimed to have anchovy but my husband said he couldn't taste any, so he essentially got a tiny $20 artichoke as an appetizer. My $16 spritz was so loaded with ice I had maybe three sips of the actual drink. I noticed every other table had bread service but we weren't offered any. Our dinner was finished and I finally asked our server for bread. The best part of my meal was the gelato with olive oil, that's it. I don't think I'll spend the $$ again at this place. It's such a bummer because I had high hopes for a stellar Mediterranean meal.
