Yeah it's pretty good pizza and would definitely come back again. Definitely a unique pizza worth trying. Service is pretty bad.

We've been meaning to give Tikka Pizza Kitchen a try for quite a while, and so glad we finally did! Wow, so unique and yummy. The butter chicken pizza is a MUST; it's absolutely packed with flavor! We also got a surpreme pizza, which was still tasty, but wish we would've gotten a second Indian-fusion pizza instead. Ordered a potato bun/ pastry, and they must've been out of those, because they substituted for these onion pastries, which were surprisingly sweet and super delicious! Can't wait to go dine inside and try more of their specialties!

Food (5/5 stars): Tikka Pizza Kitchen in Escondido fuses pizza and Indian flavors and it's brilliant. We got a Tikka Masala pizza with chicken and paneer and I loved the flavors from the sauce. I'll be back to try their other pizzas! Experience (4/5 stars): * Price: a little pricey * Wait Time: minimal on a weekday evening * Service: pretty good. They gave us the wrong size though * Parking: there's a parking lot * Ambiance: it's a small, simple shop with some outdoor seating

I'm no expert in Indian-inspired pizza but we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food. We are not from the area but was nearby and craving pizza, this looked the most appealing from photos. Located in a quiet plaza (at least on a Sunday afternoon) with plenty of parking. The shop is small with very limited seating. We ordered two 14" pizzas - the butter chicken that was most recommended by staff and the saag paneer. Both were packed with flavor and had a nice thin and crispy crust. We all liked the saag a tad more because it was brighter and lighter. I also had a mango lassi and it paired perfectly with the food - not too sweet and not too thick. We shared one order of samosas (comes with 2) and my goodness, the sauces were bomb. I wanted to drink them. Portions were very fair for the price as well. The two pizzas we got were enough to serve 6 (and maybe more depending on how much you eat). I'm very glad we chose to try this place and I hope it attracts more attention!

My friends and I figured that pizza was the easiest thing for a group, and since we didn't really feel like going to a chain shop, we just looked on yelp to see what was nearby. This place came up, and we were down to try something new. We walked in and there's just a counter right at the door, so it's definitely a place where you just order and take it out. There are tables outside if you do want to sit down to eat right then and there, but it won't be ideal especially when it's raining. We ordered a Chicken Tikka Pizza and a Butter Chicken Pizza, both mediums ($24 each) at 14". The pizzas took about 20-25 minutes so we walked around the plaza for a bit and came back to pick them up. The pizzas were piping hot right when we got them. You could definitely smell the chicken tikka and the butter chicken as soon as you open the box and it really filled up the car. Personally I liked the Chicken Tikka more than the butter chicken, only because it had a little bit of spice to it so it had some kick that they butter chicken was missing. I believe the chicken tikka is the one with the darker sauce, so it also had a bit more earthy flavor profile to it. Both pizzas were still very good in their own way though. I'm glad that we found this place by chance. It's a unique concept to put Indian dishes on pizza but it really works! We're never going back to a chain pizza store again since we've found this one now.

I've been wanting to try this place out and when I finally had their Butter Chicken pizza - it met all my expectations. The pizza is delicious! I will go back and try their tikka masala pizza next. I had their samosas as well and they really also tasty. I didn't have to wait too long when I walked in and ordered the pizza to go. The cashier was friendly. The restaurant is small there are a few tables and seats inside and outside.

Super happy to find out there are easy vegan options here. We live right up the street and have anticipated the opening of this very cool pizza place. We had the Achari Gobi made vegan, which was very fresh and well seasoned. Looking forward to trying more options and adding this to an easy dinner rotation.

We tried the Tandoori Kebab, which was supposed to come with a house salad and basmati rice. Instead of rice, we got French fries and instead of a house salad, we got a mixture of different vegetables such as slices of red onion, peppers, and slices of tomatoes with lemon wedges. Not a piece of lettuce! I would only recommend their pizzas.

We have been wanting to visit Tikka Pizza Kitchen for a long time because we love Indian food and we enjoy Pizza. When we pulled up outside we weren't sure if it was open because the glass is dark and there was a bunch of stacked furniture outside. The guy who served us was polite and gave us a couple of recommendations which we chose all three. The kitchen looks messy and unorganized which sort of put us off, but our pizzas came out quickly and were piping hot. In the car ride home the aroma was amazing. We loved the Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken, both were hot and delicious. The Paneer was good, but we didn't like the added ricotta cheese, it would have been better with just Paneer. Overall we highly recommend Tikka Pizza kitchen, can't wait to try the other Indian offerings.

Great Indian flavors in a pizza! The fries here are super crispy and seasoned. The dipping sauce was very tasty too. It's on a the sweeter side but I enjoyed it. We made the order on Uber Eats and our order came out in a timely manner to pick up. This pizza satisfied our cravings.

Small 8 slices Saag and Paneer pizza

We are not big pizza eaters but after talking about this place for a year ( previously went to their full service place in San Marcos now closed) tonight was the night. We ordered what we thought was a pepperoni and mushroom calzone and a small Saag and paneer pizza. The calzone delivered actually was a pizza, oh well mistake. But same thing just not folded and I think larger. They were both fresh and tasty with quality toppings. My pizza the Indian style, had green pepper on it which I did not expect but it was fine. It had great flavor, with saag, cilantro, cheese and paneer. If I ordered this again, I might ask for no peppers, but more saag. My husband had the pepperoni and mushroom. Again, fresh sliced mushrooms not slimy canned ones. Great crust, with a nice chew and crunch. The Indian items are what I am most interested as there are no Indian places in Escondido. But that is what makes this place unique. I am looking forward to trying more flavors and menu items, like the samosas and biryani.

We got the chicken tikka pizza. I've never had this type of pizza before, and it was amazing!! So much flavor and the pieces were huge! I loved it and will definitely be back to try more flavors.

Food: we ordered rolls, ramen, and tonkatsu. When each of us took a bite we all were incredibly shocked by the flavor and quality. Everyone loved the broths and especially noted the chashu. The rolls were also really well made, preserving the textures of each ingredient (meaning it was all fresh). Now for my fav... this tonkatsu. Flavor yes texture yes, now what really got me was under that first layer of cutlet THERES ANOTHER ONE. WHATTTTT !!! It was like Christmas Day opening gifts when I moved one of the pieces over and noticed a whole other cutlet underneath. Insane portion size for the bowl I had to take leftovers and that itself filled a whole Togo bowl. Service: the service was adorable and so attentive. One of my favorite things about this place is how easy it is. You order on the kiosk, grab a seat, and your food usually comes out within like 10-15 minutes. The inside has a lot of seating and even games like Jenga which makes it feel like a fun spot to hang out for lunch. I didn't interact much with service since I used the kiosk, but the worker upfront was really friendly and even brought my takeout to my table. This time I tried the Dynamite Crawfish Bowl and the Dynamite Fries. The bowl comes with crawfish, rice, dynamite sauce, eel sauce, seaweed, sesame seeds, and pickled radish on top. The fries normally come with sweet potato fries but I swapped mine for regular fries because I just wasn't feeling sweet potato that day. The fries were honestly kind of underwhelming. It was basically fries with dynamite sauce and only a few pieces of garlic confit, which was the part I was most excited for. They weren't bad, just really underwhelming. I honestly think the sweet potato fries probably would've worked better with the flavors. The crawfish bowl though was really good. The crawfish had this slight smoky flavor to it like it was lightly torched and they give you a lot in each bite. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly and the pickled radish on top helped cut through all the richness from the sauces. Everything worked really well together flavor wise. My only complaint is that halfway through the bowl the flavors started blending together a little too much and it gets boring, but overall it was still super satisfying and filling. Definitely still one of my favorite quick lunch spots in Carmel Mountain and somewhere I'd bring friends because the menu has so many good options. Their dessert menu also sounds insane so I already know I'll be back.
