Im a Visually Influenced Foodie. Although their menu isn't very enticing the stores banners make up for it! :)

Hard to believe this place has been open for seven months and I hadn't heard about it until last week! So far what I've tried is Super Delicious! A +++ Can't wait to try some of their other offerings. :)

Tried out this newish place with my Mom. She was asking for Mediterranean so I said let's go. It's conveniently located next to Vons on Center City Parkway. Order at the counter they bring you your freshly prepared food. We shared the combo Shawarma Gyro platter plenty of food to share. Salad, rice, lamb gyro meat and chicken, with a healthyportion of hummos, pita and two sauces. The chicken was flavorful a tad bit dry but still tasty. I did not see that hummos was on the platter, so ordered a extra side of it. We got a piece of baklava to go. Definetly will be back to try the falafel another favorite of mine.

Escondido has way too many Starbucks, Car washes, and kabob shops. Luckily for Bros Kabob they're worth a visit. The food is good but the guy at the front should more welcoming. His daughter should be working as the cashier. - They specialize in chicken kabobs, duh.. - Portions are small when considering the price. - No soda machine.

Newly opened and went to check it out. Tucked away in the corner. Basic entry nothing fancy with some seating. Very clean establishment! Menu was well lit and had a variety. We ordered the grilled chicken kabob plate. Drink options very limited. Lady behind the counter was very nice. Food was a large portion and came with chicken, rice, cucumber salad, fresh hummus and pita bread- all VERY good! Well flavored and filled you up. We will definitely return!! Bonus - customer service. A man behind the counter - walked over to open the door for a customer who placed a large order and had a child. Now that's an establishment that is warming and worth going to.

Saw a banner outside of the shopping center one day and had to stop and try this place out. I'm always looking for new Mediterranean places to check out and this was definitely a place I recommend! Service was a bit slow, but regardless still a pleasant experience. Ordered my usual chicken shawarma bowl thay I get at every Mediterranean place and it was so good! The bowl was packed with so many well balanced flavors, though no cucumbers. I probably should have ordered cucumbers, but didn't realize the listed did not include cucumbers in the bowl. The pickled turnips however were a great surprise. I've never had these before and they were amazing! It adds the same texture as cucumbers, with a pleasant twist. I did order a side of tzatziki sauce as the pepper sauce that came with the bowl was a bit spicy to me, and it worked just as well. Definitely recommend coming by if you like Mediterranean food and supporting small businesses!

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place after noticing it earlier in the week, and it definitely did not disappoint! I really appreciate how family-oriented the business is--the gentleman who helped us provided excellent customer service. The food was fresh and bursting with flavor, and we absolutely loved everything on both plates. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot!

This place just opened and the inside is clean and freshly remodeled but not very welcoming. There are a few tables but I recommend just taking it to go. There is no drink machine and there are very limited beverage options in a small cooler. No option for a water cup. We ordered a gyro wrap and a gyro plate. The man taking orders was really distracted and seemed disinterested in actually helping us. I originally wanted the chicken shawarma and they said they had just turned the chicken on and it would be 15 minutes until it was ready. I went with gyro meat because I didn't have much time to wait. Well the wait was over 30 minutes anyway. There was only one person taking and preparing orders and he seemed like he was in outer space. We also ordered fries and I asked for a side of feta with my plate. The fries were undercooked and soggy and a tiny portion. Very disappointing. They forgot the feta I ordered and when I asked him for it, he argued with me that I didn't order it. He finally gave me some but when I got home, discovered that they forgot my pita that was supposed to come with my plate. After all of this - the food was actually really good (besides the fries). I will go back in a couple months and give this place another shot because hopefully it is just new restaurant jitters. Some recommendations: 1. Either get a drink fountain or a well stocked beverage fridge with multiple options. 2. For a lunch rush, please have one person running the cash register and one person prepping orders. There were 7 people waiting for their food at noon - all of us waited over 30 minutes. 3. Pack the fries in a paper bag or some way that they don't immediately get steamed and soggy like they did in the plastic to go container. 4. Remove the 15%,20%, and 25% default tip prompt. For a counter service place that doesn't even have a drink machine, this is insane.

So I will first say that the prices are decent. The fries were $2 and crispy/fresh tasting so the portion felt fair. The chicken shawarma was really good with the rice and some of the spicy (tapatio?) sauce they give you. I really enjoyed the flavor. The rice by itself wasn't as moist as other middle eastern style rices that I've had. It did feel like the salad and hummus were not super fresh, but I still enjoyed them and ate it all. The service was fine. I didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. Hopefully they put some signs out for their grand opening. I think this spot has a lot of potential so I'll be returning to try other dishes! So happy to have Bros Kabob nearby!

Best Mediterranean food I've had in a LONG time. Super clean taste, portions are very appropriate for a lunch meal. Their Hummus and Kefta Kabob were top tier. Needless to say we devoured every square inch of our plate. Glad Esco has a solid spot. Restaurant is very clean and sleek. Was not packed on a Sunday either.

    Falafel (Vegetarian) Bowl was delicious!

This place is amazing! The grilled chicken kabob plate is so yummy And the hummus that comes with the plate is truly the best hummus I have ever had. Please come support this small business in Escondido. The owner is kind and even remember us when we came to visit the second time. Overall a great experience here.

Didn't have time to go back and share with staff.

Why did I come here?…read more With a hunger for mediterranean and the worry that nearby Aria may be a bit too pricey for a quick meal, I brought my son out to The Pita Guys for some gyro or shawarma. What we found were limited options, higher than expected prices, less than helpful staff, and not the best of food. Being my first time, I had questions about the menu. The young pair behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were serving, as they kept looking at one another for guidance with little ability to give me much relevant info on anything other than what types or protein they had. Once I finally ordered, they started to taking and filling the orders of people behind me. It wasn't until a much older woman came in from the back before my own dinner started being prepared. Seriously, it was a pretty weird setup. The food was served Subway style, where they go down the line asking what you wanted added to your wrap. Shawarma meat is minced, staying warm in a tub, and scooped to order by a spoon resting in a bin of cloudy water. Not only did it feel a bit gross, but it also seemed that the bulk of the juice in the meat came from that watery spoon, as the shawarma I ate was very dry. When it came to my son's Shawarma Plate, the menu stated that it came with two sides. What they don't tell you is that the only choices on the 'sides' menu open to you are Hummus and a Salad. The much more desired sides of Falafel, Baba Ghanoush, or even kid friendly Fries, were not offered. Needless to say, my son ate his chicken and rice, but wouldn't touch his hummus. So, a Shawarma Plate and a Shawarma wrap ... dinner for two, not a ton of food, neither of us were all that impressed ... and it cost us over $40. Needless to say, with how everything tasted and what it took to get ... we won't be coming back. For the price it cost us, I think we'll stick with the far superior Aria up the street. Or, at the very least, try the Kebab Shop down the block.

Parking was easy, although the shopping center itself is very busy. The restaurant was clean, bright, and open with plenty of seating (inside and outside). The staff was friendly, and the line moved fairly quickly. The setup reminded me of a Mediterranean version of Chipotle where you move down the line and customize your bowl. My favorite part was definitely the sauces and dips. The Crazy Feta was so good that I would honestly buy a jar of it if I could. I also liked having black lentils as an option since that's not something I've seen anywhere else. Overall, I thought the flavors were good, but there were a few things that missed the mark for me. The falafel had great flavor, but the texture was very doughy and not my favorite. The lamb meatballs were also on the dry side. I also found myself wishing they offered gyro meat. I'm glad I tried it and can see why it's popular. While I'm not rushing back, I'd definitely give it another chance and try some different menu items next time.
