The main reason I'm leaving this review, though, is to give a heads-up about their 0-10 spice scale. I ordered a level 3, and it had me sweating! If you enjoy spicy food, I'd still suggest starting at a 2 and working your way up on your next visit. Their spice levels seem much hotter than you might expect. This place is ok. We gave it a shot because this is what everyone in the group was going for. The place was empty when we came in. I was able to get the pad thai and on a 5 level spicy. It was not too bad, but at the end of finishing my meal, I was still hungry. Flavour was okay. Everyone else boasted that their meals were good and it was the best thing since sliced bread and that they'll be coming back. I'm sure they would (in a sarcastic tone). I give it a three stars because the staff was very friendly and accommodating to our very large group. I don't think I'll be coming back. I rather would drive somewhere else for better pad thai. Don't mind my terrible photo as I started eating and then took a picture since it was worth sharing! I tried the Pad See Ew with Duck and it was so delicious! The duck skin was so crispy and the meat was so good. The noodles were well seasoned and delicious I did the level 5 spicy and it was the perfect amount of spicy where you get the kick but aren't suffering the consequences. I would recommend this place to anyone and definitely plan on bringing my wife's and friends here. Also, I did go during the week at dinner time and they only had take out that day but it was still worth taking it home The place seems family run and I would want to continue going here so please check this place out. The new owner is family of the previous owner who still comes in to help from time to time, after chitchatting with the current owner now. The chef and our server (Ken?) were amazing! I've been here many times and the food is always good except for a couple days ago when I ordered take out for a birthday and the food was bland and colorless. We all ordered pad Thai with chicken level 3 spice and the lady on the phone was rude and seemed to be in a rush. When we got the food the pad Thai was a light yellow with no flavor and no spice level! I don't understand the point of ordering ahead if the food is going to be given like they made it in 3 mins. I decided to try out a new Thai restaurant since I love Thai food so much, so I decided on doing a pick up order here since I was in the area. I was in and out super quick, as the door said closed and I was worried I would be locked out, but it seems they are open for online orders during their "closed" hour. The 2 people at the counter quickly greeted me and pointed me to the table up front where my order was, no contact pickup which was nice. We used to love this place and had been going here for last few years but with new owners the food is no comparison. We ordered larb which had little to no basil. The Thai style papaya salad had no green beans and used withered/over-ripe regular tomatoes vs cherry tomatoes. The Lao papaya salad was ok but also used old tomatoes. The sticky rice we ordered was not sticky rice but seemed to be steamed rice or a mix of the two. Lastly the panang chicken curry was very watery and had little to no coconut milk or chicken. Sadly the on floor manager, Nick, now claiming to be the owner in today's conversation, will not honor a gift card our friend bought for us a few months back. Nick is very agressive, harsh, and sadly not a good face for this amazing restaurant. Our family has been eatting here for 3 generations ever since they opened. We have watched several sets of family member take over operating this family business, and have loved ever member prior. However, Nick is an unfortunate one. With a gift card receipt stating Nick's name, he denies selling a gift card to anyone but one person. Nick has unfortunately ruined our favorite family restaurant.
