First visit was great, two large specialty pizzas, loaded with fresh toppings and rich red sauce. Worth the higher prices. Second visit a couple weeks later, skimpy toppings and thin red sauce. Definitely disappointed and not worth the $$. Not sure why the difference, but it was 3 guys working the pizzas the first time, and 2 or 3 ladies the second time. I only noticed because I didn't recognize anyone working that I saw there just a couple weeks prior. I used the app both times, full price. As a mixed Italian who loves her cheese and has a 2 year old son who is 100% honest/picky about real ingredients and good food this pizza spot is top tier compared to all the others. I tried all the locals and popular spots none serve you real mozzarella or baked ingredients on your pizza, the craftsmanship is impeccable everytime. People have long days especially in the food industry so I'm sure if you communicate and give nothing but great energy it can change your bad experiences. My family and I love pizza guys and we hope and pray they never change their ways to suit or fit all the other food chains. The pizza seemed unbalanced. I think if there was more sauce, it would balance the amount of dough. The garlic rolls also seemed unbalanced - it wasn't as soft and moist as I had hoped. It was more dry and bulky. The muncheez, which are potato poppers with cheddar and jalapenos, had a mealy texture to it. Pizza Guys text notifications had notified me much faster than I was quoted (quoted 20-25 min, but rhe pizza was ready for pick up in about 10 min). Arrived and picked up a piping hot large pizza and garlic cheese bread for $27 with one of their current promotions. Staff was also extremely polite and attentive. The pizza was soft and chewy with ample toppings. The online ordering system allows for easy creation even with half and half options. The cheesy bread was loaded with cheese and garlic flavors. My review is heavily based on the amazing customer service I received from KAYLUB. I've been to this location several times sometimes the pizza is good sometimes it's ok. When I was speaking to Kaylub I had a few kids coming over for a party and I needed very specific pizza, one kid could only eat gluten free, another had a pork allergy, another wanted pepperoni . The way Kaylub was able to help me and organize my pizzas in a way where it worked for all my problems was amazing. The pizzas were absolutely delicious a huge hit and everyone was happy. The Cheeze Garlic Rolls (warm, creamy, garlicy goodness) and Muncheez (potato cheesy jalapeno poppers) are our favorite appetizers (so far!). Their Signature Ranch is delicious (even the non-ranch fans loved it) and their Signature White Garlic Sauce is tasty, too. The prices are a little steep, but the food is quality. I appreciate the Specials tab on their page where you can find some deals to bring the prices down. Ordering online for pickup is easy on their website. The staff has always been great, too. They kinda skimp on the toppings especially when I order a triple topping but get what's equivalent to other chain's double topping. **1-Star service** Seriously, I don't get where these guys heads are. Been here the last two times to pick up my order (at the time given) and paid for my order just to wait in the lobby. Then after five minutes or so, I go up to tell them that I think my order's ready and they look and find my order sitting in the warming bags. Literally happened the last two visits. Moreover, they have a drink special where if you spend $25 or more for carry out, you get a 2-liter and they forgot both times as well. Had to remind them. I'm a pizza girl! I love my pizza, so I was excited to see that the Pizza Guys opened up nearby so of course, I had to give it a try. I give the pizza a solid 4/5. I ordered the Cup & Crisp Pepperoni Duo and it was exactly as described... the crunch of the pepperonis was chef's kiss. And I didn't find it very greasy at all which I'm ecstatic over especially since pepperoni pizzas tend to be sloppy greasy. Because who likes a soggy pepperoni? Pizza Guys really nailed this one!!! The only reason it's not a 5/5 is I felt the crust left something to be desired as if it needed seasoning, tasted pretty plain. Perhaps next time I'll try the stuffed crust and that could remedy it. I also ordered the boneless wings for my boyfriend. They ended up giving me regular bone-in wings which I didn't realize until I arrived back home. Luckily, my boyfriend was out and about and could stop by on his way home to pick up the correct order of boneless wings. The staff was very apologetic when I called and informed them of the oopsie and agreed to get the correct order of boneless wings ready and they even threw in a free soda for the mistake. Although after all that trouble, I'm not a fan of either of their wings. Pretty disappointed they don't sauce any of them, they just provide "dipping" sauce of your choosing on the side. Their boneless wings were too breaded for my liking, I felt them to be more of a chicken nugget consistency on the outside although the chicken was juicy on the inside. However, I'm not a big chicken wing fan so this doesn't stop me from trying more of their pizzas. The salad didn't wow my tastebuds either, but again, it's a pizza place, I'm not here to order a salad. Can't wait for another pizza night so I can try more of their mouthwatering pizzas! read more

This place is my new favorite choice for pizza in Escondido. The food is fresh, the staff is super nice and helpful and they have huge menu of options for all dietary needs. We got the buffalo chicken, all meat, combo, and stuffed crust cheese pizzas, the garden salad and the jalapeño cheesee bread. Food was made right when I showed up, they gave us crushed red pepper and Parmesan and 2 free large sodas with our order.
