    Fried Deviled Eggs

It is definitely a hidden gem. We were staying in the hotel area in Fort Payne to visit the parks over the weekend. I wanted to try a local place on our way to DeSoto Falls and this place got my attention. During my visit, I noticed many places were either closed or had very different business hours for the weekends. That's the reason I wanted to call beforehand to make sure they were open. They did open on Sunday until 2pm. Perfect! Tiger's Inn is a small, cute, and very cozy restaurant. The people were very friendly. The price was very affordable. We got cups of coffee to start with. Our sweet server mentioned to us their special of the day, which was free Fried Deviled Eggs. We also ordered Shrimp and Grits for my partner, and I got the Steak and Potato Skillet. The steak came with biscuits and gravy on the side. Everything was amazing, so yummy, cooked to perfection. Portions were quite big. We were so full that we got leftovers. I loved the deviled eggs. They were my favorite. Idk how they made it, but I would like to know :) Must try place!

Try the fried deviled eggs...you're welcome! No, seriously they were awesome and everything we got was very good. We stopped in here for dinner while we were staying in Mentone for the night. It's just a couple of miles away and worth a visit.

Fried Deviled Eggs pulled straight from the depths of hades with a creamy, flavor full filling, and eggs crisped to the right temperature.

In the valley is a gem that reflects the goodness, hospitality, and great southern cooking that can only be found in rural America. The service was great and the chef did an amazing job with our meals. Probably, the best home town restaurant in this part of Alabama. Plus, veterans and first responder discount!

You get 4 of the fried deviled eggs, this was just the last one before I devoured it!

The food was delicious!! My husband and I were in town on a weekend getaway and tried the Tigers Inn. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Everything thing we ate was delicious!! You have to try the Fried deviled eggs - Yum! And do not leave without trying the Apple fritter with a scoop of vanilla ice cream....oh my goodness!?! To die for!!

And no joke, they looked super delicious. Cheesy, creamy, meat and carbs: omg. Lots of wine and beer. Tons and tons of gifts and trinkets to take home and commemorate your mountain visit. I didn't photograph much of it but they had great items. There's a bar to eat or sip your coffee right near the front or a large side room with ample seating. The breakfast biscuit sandwiches were off the chart! If they weren't homemade biscuits, I don't want to know because they were delicious. Definitely stop in here. I got the cold Cessear salad wrap with chicken and it was very tasty! Limited seating so our party of 12 had to split up. The gift shop had lots of local nick nack stuff too! You can also get things to go in the grocery market store like deli meats and cheeses. I saw some people buying eggs and bread. Greta place! Would highly recommend if you need a light lunch!

The food here is exceptional. In my opinion I would never try to compare this to Cracker Barrel,…read moreother than the eclectic collection of rustic antiques maybe and the small gift shop from local craftsman. I was able to enjoy the breakfast brunch sampler which included ham and cheese quiche, a tomato pie, and a strawberry crêpe with fresh fruit. I appreciated the selection of quality teas, locally made dessert options also a plus. Not sure why yelpers have been so up appreciate this locally owned business. So I do hope that you guys will read through some these reviews with an open mind. We waited, probably about 20 minutes to be seated, which isn't too bad, especially without reservations and as another yelper mentioned wait times. The prices were very reasonable compared to some of the mass chain restaurants you find or even other spots outside of Mentone. The only critique I have would be for our server savanah. She kind of rushed us a little bit with bringing us a check before we were quite finished. I chalk it up to her being young and maybe not as experienced, but she was very friendly.
