There were a couple of long & particularly thin yet nevertheless unbreakably flat pieces of metal that were each individually coiled into the meat of my sesame chicken dish which I had delivered to my home last night. Beyond appalled by the careless handling of my chicken presumably before it was even cooked as apparently raw vegetables come in with this particular kind of wire that ties then all together in bulk before they are aptly separated in order to be prepared for each salad &/or dish smh never ever again UNLESS they can fix this potential safety hazard tbh:S

13. Sesame Chicken Lunch Special

RESTAURANT REVIEW Tiger Bowl- Southport, CT Tiger Bowl is a small, intricately designed Chinese Restaurant located on the Southport-Westport border on Post Rd next to Michael's and Village Bagels. The service is impeccable service is unmatched but the food is what takes this place to the next level. There are dozens of Asian Restaurants in the area, but the freshness, and unique combination of herbs, spices and cooking techniques makes Tiger Bowl stand out. The fried chicken delights(IE Sesame, General Tso, Lemon, Orange, etc) are unlike your standard chinese fair. Unlike other restaurants the crispy fried chicken is crispy on the outside, but magically soft in texture on the inside. There is a certain fluff to the inside of the chicken, almost similar to a corn dog batter. The soups are perfect for a cold winter's day, and the beef dishes shine as well. My only critique is with the bonelesss ribs and spare ribs. Thought cooked nicely the sauce is a bit heavy and way too sweet. In an area oversaturated with restaurants this is THE Go-To for delicious Chinese food for the whole family. They currently do not allow guests to dine in(thanks Covid) but are available for takeout and delivery 7 days a week. #chinesefood #food #foodporn #foodie #foodphotography #instafood #foodstagram #foodblogger #chinese #asianfood #yummy #homemade #foodlover #noodles #delicious #foodgasm #foodies #dimsum #chinesecuisine #homecooking #dinner #china #foodiesofinstagram #dumplings #streetfood #foodpics #indianfood #chicken #tasty #bhfyp

Chicken and broccoli

Favorite Chinese food take out. People who answer phone speak English well and place is very clean. Steamed pork dumplings were delicious; They are are thicker than most, but very flavorful. I loved their egg drop soup as well. We liked the chicken and broccoli because that broccoli wasn't over cooked as it sometimes can be soft and soupy. We also enjoyed the spare ribs. Portions are decent and prices are reasonable. It is now our go-to Westport Chinese take out. Will likely return to dine in.

Found this in my chicken and cashew tonight. Will NEVER order Tiger Bowl again. Yuck!!!!

Food is good, just really greasy and all the dishes taste the same. They do give you big portions tho.

Good Chinese food. It's our go to choice for delivery. I recommend Double Happy. Crab Rangoon is a good choice for an appetizer.

They make sure your glass is always full and check in regularly to make sure everything is just right. For appetizers, we had the KFC Bao and the Vietnamese crispy rolls both were delicious! We also tried the Udon Supreme with seafood. The noodles were nice and thick, with a satisfying chew, and the sauce had great flavor. My brother had the Kon Loh Mee, a.k.a. KLM noodles, which he really enjoyed. Great food, warm hospitality, and wonderful service. This place is definitely worth coming back to!

Pretty bland decor. There are at most 11 tables plus a small counter style area for another half dozen patrons The chairs are also not that great but that is a matter of preference. Personally I hate those half back designs with cheap metal and plastic MENU - it's not that large for lunch and frankly my friend did the ordering so I didn't really see it SERVICE - this was 5 star for me. Both the waitress and bus lady were attentive and congenital APPETIZERS - we experimented with the dumplings (fried in spicy oil) they were terrific We tried their chicken wings, they were good. They came with only 4 per serving and had a lollipop cut in an unusual more vinegar tasting sauce Tried their chicken wings spare ribs that were decent but over cooked. Even though the seasoning was different and tasty ENTREES - we tried their special fried rice which was excellent. I liked the whole fried egg on top as a unique garnish LIBATIONS - not a lot of variety but the Sapporo beer in the big cans were Muy bueno PRICE - hard to say because beer was probably more than food. The bill for two people with a 20% tip was $120
