Deeply disappointed with this location. I dropped off 3 blouses and 2 pants, flagged makeup stains on the collars, and noted that my pants should have no creases, (which is also tagged on my bag). The employee (who turned out to be the manager) told me not to bother pointing out the stains and that she would handle it. She didn't. Every stain was still there when I got home, and my pants had creases. I called the store and was told the manager would call me back Monday. Instead, an employee called back minutes later to relay that I could bring the clothes in again, but they couldn't guarantee the stains would come out. These are standard makeup stains on collars. I've had them removed at other cleaners without issue. This wasn't a disclaimer about difficult stains, it was a deflection. Monday came and went. No call from the manager. No refund. I paid for a service that wasn't performed, flagged it in real time, and was met with indifference at every step. I will be following up and will update this review accordingly. read more

I had a HORRIBLE experience with TIDE cleaners on Eldridge! They were highly recommended for wedding gowns and I was so extremely upset and disappointed. I was willing to pay the high price because they came so recommended! I waited over three weeks, which was fine- only to pick up a dress that NOTHING had been done to- completely soiled at the bottom!!! Nobody took responsibility for it and I even filled out a complaint form online- nobody had contacted me at all! Doesn't even deserve ONE STAR read more

Ridiculous. I dropped off two comforters over a month ago and I still do not have the second one. They lost it and didn't inform me until I picked the other one up. I called customer service and they shared that the supervisor was going to call me and I was entitled to reimbursement of the item as long as I had a receipt, it was no more than a year old, and didn't exceed $100. Well the supervisor never called so I had to show up in store and ask employees for it and of course they have no ability to do it without the supervisor present. I didn't expect them to but I did expect more initiative on their part on resolving the matter as they misplaced my items. They ended up texting her and she informed them to tell me to return in the morning. Unacceptable and I will never do business with them again. read more

This is not a Dry Clean service, this is just a drop off service. They do not follow instructions, just do whatever they think/want to do. It is very slow because they need to wait for the truck, and very expensive. Will not come back. read more

Was informed three weeks ago that one shirt was damaged by Tide and someone would be calling to discuss a remedy, credit or something similar. After visiting location three times since, on site staff gave me supervisors contact number. No response whatsoever when I left a message. Extremely unhappy. read more

Tide Cleaners--one of the most expensive dry cleaners in Houston--is showing a great deal of carelessness with shirts, frequently breaking buttons. However, the most serious issue is that they lose garments. For the second time, I am experiencing problems for this very reason. I recently dropped off a pair of Robert Graham jeans; more than a month has passed since then, yet the employee at the pickup location has taken no action. For this reason, I decided today to contact you via your official website. read more

We just moved here from Chicago and noticed several Tide vans riding around. We were curious because Tide is our go to laundry detergent. Turns out that when we moved to Houston, this location was about 2 miles from us so we thought we'd give them a try. They have an app you can download that's basically just a gui for the website and doesn't really track orders very well. Not all that user friendly or helpful either. I placed an order online to have them come pick up our laundry. We got it back in about 3 days delivered right to our front door. We had a lot of stuff since we just moved in and wanted to wash up everything. It was probably 2 standard laundry bags full all together. It was $155!!! That is the most expensive laundry I've ever paid for! Juan called me after placing my order online to introduce himself, follow up on any questions and advised what I could expect next. Super nice guy and good customer service. The clothes were clean, smelled good, and folded perfectly. Undergarments are put in their own separate bags and the laundry is folded in shrink wrap and then put in Tide branded laundry bags that were very durable. The whites could have been whiter but you can definitely tell they were washed. I don't think they used bleach. Overall, Tide cleaners service should be able to attract business off the strength of its popular name. Customer service was solid, clothes were professionally cleaned and delivery turnaround time is fair. My only issues are the prices and improving the intuitiveness of the app. I am sure labor, delivery and brand all play a part in how expensive it is, but they might want to keep prices within the range of competitors. read more

this is the worst cleaners ever . they wasted our time and money , we had to request our clothes to be redone 3 times after the third time they say our starch doesn't take to your clothes . it was initially pick up service but we had to stop in twice . just annoying and waste of time forsure, just go somewhere else for the price you pay you will not be satisfied. nothing had a crease. read more

This is a good dry cleaner that cares for the community. I was able to drop off my clothes and pick them up from their drive through. It was an efficient way to drop off and pick up my laundry and dry cleaning. I'm a first responder and their Loads of Hope really helped out me and my family. They did an excellent job and I appreciate what they do. The total would have been $149.15 for dry cleaning 43 pieces. That's about $3.50 an article. The quality they delivered exceeds the price. I would pay that price even without the special offer. read more

First time customer. Dropped off 8 suits- was not given a total price at drop off. At time of pick up everything came out to $130. Extremely mediocre dry cleaning for the price. Can't even get the Tide scent? Or at least a clean scent? What's the point? I'll stick to a family owned dry cleaner for 1/3 of the price and will get much better results. My regular dry cleaner was closed due to power issues. I gave this location on Eldridge Pkwy a shot on Friday 11/10 because I had heard great things about them and had been wanting to try their service. Dropped off 14 dress shirts around 8:40 am and was told I could pick up at 3pm. Never received a call for pick up....so I went by to pick up close to closing time (7pm). Only 12 of my shirts were ready...apparently because they took it upon themselves to hold my 2 missing shirts at whatever facility they send the clothes to for additional cleaning. Nobody called to notify me that this is what they were doing nor was I told until I asked upon my arrival. I shouldn't have had to ask. The supervisor on duty had a bit of an attitude stating that "they were doing me a favor" which would have been fine had I been properly informed before the decision was made. I was told that my missing garments would be delivered to me free of charge the following Monday. The other employee on duty took down the delivery address. I wasn't entirely happy, but I made my peace and agreed with the Monday delivery. Monday came and went... then Tuesday... then Wednesday... I finally called today almost a week later to be told that the address had "accidentally" been thrown away... Mind you the delivery location was my place of business which is a very specific well known business in the area (keep in mind our address is also in the name of our business). I was told that they tried to call Wednesday, but I checked my logs and have no missed calls from them...and why did you wait until Wednesday to try and call? Long story short I ended up having to go in to pick up my shirts myself this evening after work. I was not charged for the two shirts and the associate who initially took down the address did apologize, but in my opinion the experience up to this point warranted a free service so forgive me for not being gracious. To add insult to injury several of my shirts (that I forgot to mention are required work attire) had fine wrinkles pressed into the shoulders and neckline which doesn't really fall in line with the appearance I must maintain at work. I say all of that to say this...NEVER AGAIN!!! My mom and pop dry cleaner down the street that I usually go to does far more superior work and their customer service is unparalleled. To think with a name brand like TIDE things would be more streamlined, but hey... What's in a name? In this case certainly not quality or care... AAAAAND on top of all of this they have been blowing me up via text and email all week requesting a review...so here it is!!! Once more I say... NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Price on shirts is amazing, pant prices for dry cleaning seem high but still within range and quality and they are quick. Tide does charge to clean the laundry bag they provide too. I tried to do the drop off at the boxes but it can take one-two weeks for returns at the ConocoPhillips office and little communication. With that I went to the closest cleaner to drop off my laundry in person, walked in after lunch to drop off and one younger front personnel shouted "well" after I asked if I could drop off. There is a sweet older lady though that takes the best care if I was dealing with just here I'd stick with Tide. Personnel seem to be quite temperamental. read more

I took my wedding dress to this location on January 27 in a garment bag as protection to have it cleaned . It was a large, very expensive custom gown. I explained that to the rep prior to dropping it off and at drop off. I was told no problem, they would take care of it as they were experienced in those kind of gowns. A rep telephoned & sent pictures of my gown the next day stating it needed 2 things repaired and they found repair it. I agreed to repairs since they offered and I never asked for the service. She stated it would take about 3 weeks. I called mid March since no one had contacted me to check on my gown. I was told it would be back from the wedding preservation location & ready March 23rd and a text would be sent. I received a call on March 31st, 2 months from drop off date, stating that my dress could not be cleaned because it was too big. I went in a week later to pick my dress up and it was thrown on the floor in a corner of a high traffic area, no longer in the garment/dress bag that I brought it in. It was damaged from being hauled from place to place with no protection. There were rips in the body from the train, broken pieces of the rhinestone detail, material barely attached to the body and as stated, it wasn't cleaned nor repaired after having 2 months. I requested a manager's contact information and was given Christy Baker whom I spoke to & she promised to call me back within a day. I waited one week, no phone call. I called the regional office and left s complaint. Shawn Peck called me back and was extremely rude and refused to accept a claim. He stated that they did not damage my wedding dress because no one touched it and he had no clue how it was damaged. He never asked me for any pictures, which confirms he already knew what I was talking about. He had no explanation for my dress. Although, he told me it was shipped to the heirloom department and then shipped back to them and the garment bag is completely missing. My dress was removed from the bag, transported to another location, transported back and in their possession for 2 months. However, I'm being told a blatant lie that it was never touched our damaged by them. This is a $17,000 dress and veil that was DESTROYED BY YOUR COMPANY. You clearly had possession, removed from the garment bag, transported it to other locations, DAMAGED, threw it on the floor in the corner UNPROTECTED for 2 WHOLE MONTHS but REFUSING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGING MY DRESS nor offer any type of compensation, assistance or customer care for your actions is despicable as a company. I will never ever do business with this company and I'll be sure to tell my colleagues, friends and family the same. DISGUSTING to say the least. read more

So we had a coupon for 25% off and thought we would give this place a try. One simple woman's blouse and a simple (no pleats) pair of pants and the charge was $15.79.....WITH THE DISCOUNT of 20%! I went in to discuss this with the employee, who was pleasant, and she called her boss. She had asked if we had been told the cost in advance and I said no we had not or we would not have left the items. After about 20 minutes, she said she would give me another discount which would deduct about $3.00 more. Okay, still high but a bit better. I asked for a price list as nothing is posted and the rep told me they don't have the prices in writing as they constantly change! Excuse me? Needless to say, we will not return and will just stick with our regular cleaners that charges $3.85 for pants, not over $10. read more
