They will not pay you for the clothes value that they ruined, only the service they charged. After coming here for years and having several issues with them like making holes on some of our items, or even leaving stains on them, they have reached the limit with this. And just FYI they kept my clothes for almost a week to "fix" the issue. After trying to pick them up twice, I decided to just take them as they are and took the money back for the service. But now I need to see to fix the items myself or once again have to buy them. DON'T come here. The owners are rude and will not help when problems like this happen. I laugh about it now, but she went as far as to call me ugly for telling her that this was too much and I find it unfair to not take responsibility for the ruined clothes. Horrible service.

I have been back once more since then and the service was just as excellent as is the care they show my garments. Two starts for the fact that I brought my clothes to the dry cleaner for almost a year before…read morehaving any issue. Otherwise, there would be one star for how the issue was handled. The man was condescending, argued with me about the incredibly vague rules that they had when it came to damage clothing. After a year of using this cleaner, I have decided to find another cleaner because of how they handle problems. They told me that my clothing would not get damaged and then when it did, they told me that "all dry cleaners are like this/do this" and that they would not reimburse me. They also quoted their policies that are on the wall, which also happened to be incredibly vague and could mean just about anything. From the conversation we had, he was making up rules as he went. The only point I attempted to get across is that if they are going to tell me, they are capable of doing something and then they do not do it, and what they did leads to damaging my clothes, they should be able to reimburse me as quoted in their policies. There was no integrity on their end.

Turns out that when we moved to Houston, this location was about 2 miles from us so we thought we'd give them a try. They have an app you can download that's basically just a gui for the website and doesn't really track orders very well. Not all that user friendly or helpful either. I placed an order online to have them come pick up our laundry. We got it back in about 3 days delivered right to our front door. We had a lot of stuff since we just moved in and wanted to wash up everything. It was probably 2 standard laundry bags full all together. It was $155!!! That is the most expensive laundry I've ever paid for! Juan called me after placing my order online to introduce himself, follow up on any questions and advised what I could expect next. Super nice guy and good customer service. The clothes were clean, smelled good, and folded perfectly. Undergarments are put in their own separate bags and the laundry is folded in shrink wrap and then put in Tide branded laundry bags that were very durable. The whites could have been whiter but you can definitely tell they were washed. I don't think they used bleach. Overall, Tide cleaners service should be able to attract business off the strength of its popular name. Customer service was solid, clothes were professionally cleaned and delivery turnaround time is fair. My only issues are the prices and improving the intuitiveness of the app. I am sure labor, delivery and brand all play a part in how expensive it is, but they might want to keep prices within the range of competitors.

The employee (who turned out to be the manager) told me not to bother pointing out the stains and that she would handle it. She didn't. Every stain was still there when I got home, and my pants had creases. I called the store and was told the manager would call me back Monday. Instead, an employee called back minutes later to relay that I could bring the clothes in again, but they couldn't guarantee the stains would come out. These are standard makeup stains on collars. I've had them removed at other cleaners without issue. This wasn't a disclaimer about difficult stains, it was a deflection. Monday came and went. No call from the manager. No refund. I paid for a service that wasn't performed, flagged it in real time, and was met with indifference at every step. I will be following up and will update this review accordingly.

At Family Cleaners the front counter staff is always nice and polite, knows me by name and greets me accordingly. I had a little issue once and the owner stepped in an made things right immediately no problem. Since then I've been coming and will continue to patronize their family owned business. I often see his children helping out around the store which tells me he's teaching his children how to carry on the family business. I admire that.
