I called these business and even went there to get a belt cut and add holes. The only person there was sitting in the back doing nothing.

Needed some pants altered and they did a great job with a quick turnaround. Love having a reliable tailor in the neighborhood (Heights).

They asked me to leave the dress to finish, but I needed to get it to the steaming place. I gave them an hour to complete it as that was as long as the dry cleaners was open to steam it. I put the dress on 30 minutes before my pre ceremony pictures to find the second set of alterations were still not correct and the dress was too loose. 15 minutes later, the dress ripped at the zipper that was fixed at Amy's alterations. This had to be fixed on the spot with a home hem gun as the wedding has to go on. I later had to be cut out of the dress since it was no longer together by a zipper. I get back from a honeymoon and call to find out what I need to do for a partial refund and am told I needed to call immediately when this happened to tell them and they could have came to me to fix it (keep in mind this was 15 minutes before pictures and 5 hours away from Amy). When I explained this, he said I should have called anyway ( because I was thinking to call the place minutes before getting married). He proceeded to tell me that I did not pick up the dress the day I did because he would have been working, that i probably didn't even get the dress altered at Amy's because they make sure weddings and specials events are done right, and the person who zipped me up at the event messed up the zipper. Keep in mind he did not even ask my name to check for the order because "they don't keep records passed two weeks". I will never go back because the work was not done right, expensive, and was not cared for as a customer.

Let me start by saying I have had multiple pieces of clothing tailored from here and have…read morerecommended it a dozen times as well. However, this last experience left a sour taste. While the work was well it's more about the customer service and the lack of common courtesy I was met with. I had multiple pieces that needed to be tailored and I was told I would be texted before they started to tailor any pieces to make sure I was in agreement with the price - totally fine. They did text and I confirmed to move forward with the alterations. Fast forward to my pick up date, everything is great until one of the girls that works there rings me up. She charged me over $300. I let her know that I was quoted something else and I am trying to look up the text and sure enough she says "oh yeah I see you were quoted this amount but they left out the hem on a dress". While I understand that we all make mistakes I wasn't mad that they did that but was confused why they didn't reach back out and let me know? So then she proceeds to cop an attitude and says "well the work is already done" - yes I can see that. Keep in mind I never said I wouldn't pay. At this point I just wanted to leave because honestly she was so unpleasant to interact with. She rings me up and charges me $336 - okay fine but now we are at a $90 difference than what I was originally quoted. Attitude is taken up a notch when I say "hey for future reference yall should have reached out because now we are sitting at almost $100 difference than what I was told" she proceeds to talk back with the most disrespectful tone and goes "I'm telling you it's $65 how did you get $90? That's the tax" - yes i know the tax wasn't included, but again this was their fault and truth be told it's not my fault they left that quote out and then decided to not communicate and let me know. I just agree to pay and leave because again so unkind and so unfriendly. I let her know I wasn't mad because I wasn't, it was more about the principal that this was their mistake and they should have been kinder about their incorrect quote + not following up that they got it wrong. Would it have been someone else they would have argued to not pay the difference and demand the original quote. Flash forward to today - I see she charged me $350 not the $336 I was told. So now I am $110 over what I was quoted. Keep in mind I never said I wasn't gonna pay and wasn't rude back. I was just blindsided by the difference of price that we had agreed upon. But the lack of customer service, the tone, delivery and straight up demeanor of this girl was unacceptable. What kind of person works in customer service and doesn't know how to be polite at the bare minimum. This is a business and at the least common courtesy and professionalism is expected. I am so disappointed with this service and tried to call today and of course no answer. Again the work is great, but I sadly won't be back and I will be informing those whom I have recommend about this experience because a little kindness and politeness goes a long way and sadly the girl that helped is going to quickly run people off.
