I walked in with 2 shirts to get cleaned, the employees were so stoned, with the place smelling of weed. One hid behind a wall ,while the other could hardly talk or walk. All in all I had a very poor experience at this tide location. I dropped off five nice dress shirts. When I return to pick up I was told I only dropped off two - but was requested to pay for five. Following this I called multiple times to try and track down my shirts and constantly got hung up on and told I would be called back (that never happened). When going to pick up the shirts after they were found a few months later, I was told to go to a different location. Those shirts were not at that location. When I went to pick up the shirts from the right location, they only had two out of my three missing shirts. I would not trust his place. It was my first time getting dry cleaning here. First of all, I have never had the need or desire to write a review about a dry cleaner before, because, for the most part, I have never had an issue with a dry cleaner before. I only visit the cleaners about twice a month and I started frequenting Tide in Avon because of their convenient location, drive up service, speedy service, and coupons. While their service is not so speedy right now due to Covid, I was generally satisfied with their service until a couple of incidents occurred over the past several months, the most recent, last night, that has made me decide that I will not return to Tide cleaners in Avon. The first issue I experienced with this location was from a couple of months ago. I arrived at the location, gave the attendant my bag and presented her with my on line coupon. She told me she didn't need to scan it, she said she would apply the coupon when she processed my order and I drove away. Several days later, I went to pick up my order and only discovered, when I returned home, the coupon had not been applied. I called the store and spoke with the attendant who had given me my order (she was the only one working that evening) and told her I had presented the on line coupon when I dropped off my cleaning and it was not applied. She told me that she could not honor my coupon because I did not originally present it upon dropping off my cleaning! So, was she not listening to what I just said or did she think I was lying? (BTW, this also happened to me a couple of months ago when I tried to apply a Groupon to an order at another store) The next day I called the store again, and asked to speak with the manager and was told to call another location. I ended up speaking with a manager who was able to assist me and credited my account (she was very kind and understanding). She told me that there was a way the attendant could have honored my coupon but she didn't take the time and effort to call to find out. Then, last night, I stopped to pick up my cleaning and had one of the strangest customer service experiences ever. First, I pulled into the drive in and waited in my car and no one came out. Guessing they were busy with another order, I entered the store to see an attendant sitting behind the desk, she told me it was o.k. to come in (she had no mask on). I told her I was picking up my order and dropping off an order. During the entire transaction, she hardly spoke with me, and just stuck her hand out for my credit card and stuck her hand out to give me the receipts. She appeared to be very angry about something. She was the only attendant at that location. I know it is a challenge to find good employees and then train them, but after last night's episode, I will return to my neighborhood cleaner or another Tide location, at least for now. Last but not least, I found used kleenex in my jacket that had just been dry cleaned. It is important to check pockets. read more

This is a terrible company, the quality is pathetic, and the management is hugely incompetent. "Done right or it's done for free," outright lie or they are not collecting any revenue. They don't press much of the dry cleaning and much of what is is done poorly. Damages are hidden and passed off, on several instances employees have been reduced to tears because of the treatment by their managers, even not being payed by Tide for services rendered. The Sherman family should be ashamed of their handling of their company. read more

0 out 5 Stars. Dropped off my wedding dress for cleaning and preservation. After showing Robin at the front desk my dress stained, she said the cleaners are really good, and the stains shouldn't be a problem. The dress was retuned boxed up in the same stained condition I dropped it off in. Tide doesn't physically clean the wedding dress. They false promise, outsource the cleaning, and take zero accountability for the poor work. Francis Diamond the manager is incredibly rude and provided the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Her options for resolutions included paying $230 to get the stained dress back or they would donate it. The dress is still filthy so has zero resale value and cannot be worn again. A shame they cannot return it to me for the sentimental value it holds. Brides stay as far as you can away from this place! Stick to professionals who take more pride in their work. read more

Great customer service and very fast service. The 24 hour drop off is great, and the 24 hour pick up is a game changer. It's finally a dry cleaner that understands customers need that flexibility with pick up. Pricing is great, and every time I pull up I am greeted by a smiling staff member who is ready to help. They splashed some kind of liquid on two of my brand new dress shirts which left spots on them. They put one of those "Sorry" tags on my shirts as if the spots were on the shirts when they came in. They were not. They were new shirts; Tide Cleaners ruined them; and they charged me full price for the laundry. I will never go back there again. Let the buyer beware! Update 5/19/19: One week later I discovered that another new shirt also got ruined. They didn't bother to tag this one. Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice it. Never again! I really wanted to love this place. I was hoping for great work, which I did receive; I was not hoping to be robbed. I was charged $32 for 4 little sweaters. I was floored. The staff was nice and very apologetic, but come on, that is ridiculous. Sadly, I will not be back. Sorry, I can't support this local establishment. read more
