I have used Sun Brite for years and I am finally switching cleaners. Reasons: - Horrible customer service. Very nice and professional upon drop off but very rude at pick up (the elderly woman). Here are 2 tales of my last 2 visits to Sun Brite Clearners: - 3 weeks ago, I dropped off a suit and paid a little extra to have in done in 2 days, no problem. When I went to pick up my suit they could not find it. While inconvenient for me, not a big issue. It took about 20 minutes but two young men worked together and did find my suit for me. The problem is that someone took it upon themselves to re-sew the jacket buttons on. I have no idea why, I did not request or mention anything about the buttons. When they did this they moved the buttons and the suit did not fit and the crease lines didn't lay right anymore. I had to have a tailor cut the buttons off and fix the jacket. This was quite bothersome. - This week I dropped off my Pea Coat. When I went to pick it up the elderly woman could not find it. I gave her my full name and the ticket number. She was very rude and kept telling me " I don't see it. I don't know what to tell you ". I waited over 20 minutes while she took other customers and continued to look. I noticed she kept passing the first letter of my last name on the clothes rack. I spoke up a number of times but she ignored me and muttered at me. After the last time I saw "O" coming, I said loudly just stop the rack and look under O! She did and there it was! There was my pea coat. This was such a rude and frustrating experience that I will never use Sun Brite again. read more

I've been going to this dry cleaners as long as I can remember and I'm proud to say there's not one better than this amazing costumer service, cleans clothes great (amazing considering their prices are so reasonable), the owner is very sweet and takes time to get to know his costumers, you can really tell he's a caring guy read more

I had a terrible experience with this place. They actually lost an enormous comforter cover. At first they didnt believe me then, when I produced the receipt, became very defensive. I was never compensated nor did they apologize. Thats a bad place. read more

Honestly, they clean your clothes well, but the guy that owns the place is a complete jerk. If you don't care about good customer service, or a clean shop, this is the dry cleaner for you! If you like a smiling face, and a tidy store, skip Sun Brite and head somewhere else. read more

PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!! We brought 2-3 shirts in for dry cleaning. When we picked them up 2 shirts had brown/black burn marks on them not previously there. When we pointed this out to the man (who happens to be the owner) he completely denied it happened with them and then proceeded to physically and verbally threaten my father calling him "little man, get out of here! I can take you!" This bigot continued yelling other racial slurs (which I will not repeat here) as we walked out the store. They have a huge sign in the front window that says "Shirts $1.09 with any dry cleaning", but they won't actually honor their own sign. I brought in 16 shirts and a suit and when I picked up they charged $1.59 a shirt. When I pointed it out they said they couldn't do $1.09. They dropped it it $1.39. I told them to take down the sign, but it's still there. read more

I didn't even go to this place, i just called to get a price quote and since i wasn't using proper terminology or whatever, the guy was being a complete dick. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. Customer Service goes a long way and obviously this guy never caught that memo. read more

It takes a lot for me to bother writing an online review, I either need to be extremely satisfied with a product or service - or completely dissatisfied. Unfortunately in this particular case it is the latter of the two. I'm not surprised to see other negative reviews for this place.. They must a have strong local customer base that keeps them in business, because it is clear they don;t care about customer service or attracting and retaining new customers. Perhaps they have just been around too long and don;t care anymore. I moved back to the area last October, and sought out a dry cleaners for my dress shirts and other odds and ends. I have been there I think 5 times now, and only once did I not have an issue with the service (curtains ironed - satisfactory job but not great job) . One time I dropped off a suit jacket and pants.. I told the gentleman I wanted the hole by the pocket sewn, and then the pants and jacket dry cleaned. When I picked up the pants they were dry cleaned but the hole was not sewn at all. Another time I picked up my dress shirts and when I got home, I found that most of the dozen or so shirts I took in had wrinkles pressed into them which made them look like shit. Just on Monday I took in a suit to be drycleaned, and about ten shirts, and a hoodie that has a tear across the chest - I asked them to sew it for me. So I go to pick up my stuff today, the shirts look okay (I inspected them before I left) but they decided not to sew my hoodie at all. The young lady (who is friendly and beautiful) asks me if this upcoming Friday is good to pick up the hoodie, and I said yes, but mentioned it was already supposed to have been done yesterday Friday. So I'm on my last leg with this place.. I'm going to go to Fairview Dry Cleaners or maybe even give Pat's Cleaners a try... Also yes, the older lady is not welcoming or friendly at all.. Time for the young lady to take over the family business or sell. At least she is cute, smart, and friendly read more
