To be honest I stopped in here because I heard that had $2 oysters on the happy hour menu. Came Friday at 5:30 and they were "out" for the day. That's fine. I had previously checked out the simple yet complicated menu if that's possible, and had been wanting to try the happy hour fried chicken. SO I stuck it out and something came out of the kitchen that smelled wonderful, that was the potatoes fondue. Fantastic! Great service! I prefer my food to be local and it did not disappoint. I've seen some people complain about the prices. $25 for the 1/2 local chicken prepared to perfection is not a bad deal and it all fed 3 people. Service was great. If you have questions bout the menu just ask. It's artwork tonight they should be busier. The music was interesting for Anacortes. That may be a turn off for some over 45ish. I don't mind it. I will be back for the oysters.

Pork ribs, generous portion and yummy glaze

Gorgeous dining room, gorgeous food and darling hostess/owner. I am delighted on every level for Anacortes to have this terrific new option for a date night. Happy hour from 2-5(?) that works! Pork ribs fall off the bone, crab pasta is delicious and delicate.

Really looking forward to the opening of this new restaurant. The dining room is very long and narrow, intimate setting with the kitchen full visible on one side. The reception when we arrived by Cami was pleasant and friendly. The waitress appeared quickly and we asked for the focaccia bread to start. The bread was very soft almost cake like in density with a hint of salt. The honey butter was whipped and very light in flavor. It was good. They don't have their liquor license yet and offered complimentary wine. Very nice touch. Our waitress had to be new to waiting tables and needs some training. We ordered our meals the Oysters and sunchoke soup (be very aware of sunchokes) for my husband. The soup was creamy and had great flavor but was barely warm. It should be hot. The oysters were delicious; the mignonette was too bright with red wine vinegar, too much vinegar, needed to be toned way down. We got the oysters and then nothing else came. We had to ask the other waiter for more wine and to get our waitress or owner to see where the rest of order was. I'm not sure if she ever put it in. They then brought a second order of oysters, oops. We told them we already those. We needed the soup and my order of the Albacore. The balance came shortly after. Still unsure what happened. My albacore was ok. The radish on top was a lot for such a delicate fish. It had too much Kosho and was a bit fishy, not too bad but enough that I didn't finish my dish. I'm sure they will work through some kinks in service and delivery, it was opening weekend. Make a note when you tip that your bill includes a 20% gratuity already added. There are so many great restaurants in Anacortes Tide & Taste will have to increase their menu and fix their service to compete. It is a pricey menu so be prepared.

Fabulous new restaurant with a wonderful dining experience. Our family had an amazing evening. We ordered dishes to share and each one was exquisite - the most amazing focaccia bread with butter flavored with orange zest; albacore dip with house made potato chips, red prawn ceviche, outstanding beet salad, savory cod croquettes with a zesty sauce, and more. Our server Kami was exceptional - warm, personable and charming. We are so happy to have found this wonderful restaurant and will be back!

We had the best experience at Tide and Taste. The food was delicious, and beautifully prepared. We started with the oysters, the best we have had in the longest time. I enjoyed the pappardelle Dungeness crab pasta, it was creamy but very light and delicious. My husband had the striploin steak with tempora squash rings. What an amazing and creative combo. The staff were attentive and the ambiance was great. Loved the music too. T&T is a welcome addition to the food scene in Anacortes.

    Gnocchi

Everything was delicious. We ordered the Octopus and the gnocchi. The vibe of the restaurant was very nice too.

Features a full bar with cocktails and a great beer selection. Ambiance is fantastic, with dark wood and interesting lighting and decorations. I'll be honest - it smells like dirty bar from time to time, so I'd say cleaning could be improved. The menu has something for everyone. Their burgers are awesome, the tater tots are creative and delicious. I tried the steak tacos the recently and they were very tasty, although the tortillas were slightly over toasted, resulting in a bit more crunch than you'd expect. Service is usually good. The bartenders handle table service, so you could end up with more than one person waiting on you rather than having a dedicated server. This can result in slower service times when it's busy, but that's the nature of the beast.

We received friendly service throughout our visit and the food was delicious as well, especially the onion rings. We especially enjoyed the fish and chips along with a few other dishes we ordered. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. They also have outdoor patio seating, which is perfect during the summer and makes the experience even better on a nice day. The only downside for me was that I found it a little pricey for the portion sizes. Still, overall it was a good dining experience and definitely a nice place to visit while in Anacortes.

The entrance is delightfully well-done, and our faces lit up when we walked into the bar - intricately detailed and authentic enough that a '20s dress code could be reasonably enforced. We were seated immediately, and the cadence of service was immaculate: our appetizer came out just after our drinks, and the entrees appeared as we were taking the last bites of the appetizer. But I wasn't thrilled with my selections. The Rum Punch was served at room temperature and the jalapeño popper chicken sandwich was drier than the description suggested. My partner got the Jalisco Fizz, which she says paired well with the mushroom pasta, and really enjoyed the salmon deviled eggs. At $11-14, the drinks are priced well, but the food is overpriced. The jalapeño chicken sandwich was not a $23 sandwich, and a tempting lobster/shrimp roll was listed at $35. Overall Speakeasy Saloon is worth making an evening of. Dress up and sip on whiskey drinks in the low light with loved ones.

I really liked The In Between's logo and interior design, it felt like stepping into the Prohibition era. We ordered a drink each from the Seasonal Summer Menu and shared a hummus plate. The drinks were nothing extraordinary but pretty good, and the hummus plate was a great shareable snack for the two of us. However, the service was super slow and frustrating. The staff were overextended since they were taking on both the bartender and server roles, so it was very difficult to catch their attention. We ended up having to approach them while they were in the middle of making a drink after trying to flag them down for 20 minutes and failing. We were in a bit of a rush towards the end so this was not the best experience, but definitely a bar worth checking out if you're not in a rush and have a lot of patience!
