After my last review, Tico team has reached out and correct the issue. Their service is fast and punctual.

I was finally able to try their coffee fresh. I had received a bag of cafe de olla as a gift. I noticed that they are located in Campbell, which is only a 15 drive. Since they aren't open on the weekends, I went today (Tuesday). It's more of a warehouse, where they roast and bag the different blends. Not really a coffee shop. There's a small mobile coffee stand in front where I was able to purchase a latte. I was also able to pick up a bag of beans from the warehouse.

I came across this while searching for local small batch coffee roasters. Got "Finca San Luis", excellent beans, espresso shot was perfect and I could test the flavor notes.

    My latte at work!

The staff member who made my latte was very nice. Only $5 which is better that any chain. And they don't add sugar so you can control how sweet you want it! My only complaint is it is a little tricky to find. It's a trailer in the back of a parking lot. Maybe more signage?

Seen them at the garden at the flea and wanted to try their hot chocolate. Was hoping they had other speciality type of drinks but not so much just a peppermint one. Tried the hot chocolate and it was okay not much to it just your regular hot chocolate drink. This place is more for those into coffee since they have your normal variety of them! Cushioned service was friendly.

The definition of a hole in the wall. If you don't know where it is, you'll probably miss it. My best suggestion is to turn where the flags say coffee, and then just keep going down that small lane past the random garages. Here they sell whole beans as well, so if you like grinding your own coffee it might be a nice place to check out new blends and flavors. I had a black Americano and it was just what I needed to get through the rest of the day. I think I would definitely come here more if I was a coffee connoisseur, instead of being like me who just drinks coffee for caffeine. One cool thing I heard is that a local school came to this shop to learn about coffee production. So if you are in education, that may be an easy field trip to look into.

Worth the hunt! Great to-go coffee.

Google Maps came up with Tico Coffee Roasters as a non- Starbucks option, so we went to check it out. When we arrived, we drove down an alley with industrial shops and I thought, dang, it's just the warehouse where they roast coffee. You don't notice at first, but they have a little coffee trailer where they serve coffee, latte's tea, etc. The latte was a smooth, great tasting cup of coffee. Was nice to try a non-chain for once and the gal was very nice serving us.

There was a mix of people studying, working, and chatting with friends; it's a very lively community spot. Despite how chaotic it was, the space was generally clean and the service was great. The cashier made sure to get our names and address us by them. The decor is beautiful, feeling intentionally designed. I thought it was really cool that they have a slow coffee bar area specifically for pour overs (I think) where tech isn't allowed, so people are just supposed to sit and enjoy their coffee. I've never seen that before in a coffee shop. The menu is extensive. Since it was later in the day, the baked goods were half off, which was a nice surprise. I got a blueberry latte and an Asian fusion focaccia bread. Blueberry latte - I liked this! The blueberry flavor was subtle and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. It added a light fruity note to the coffee without overpowering it. Fusion focaccia bread - This was tasty, but I felt the original price was steep ($12). My piece was around 6" x 3". The shiitake mushroom flavor was strong and I loved the addition of scallions and Chinese sausage sprinkled throughout the bread. Overall, this is such a cool addition to coffee culture in the South Bay. It feels like shop from a big city like SF, NYC, or Chicago instead of little ol' SJ. The ambiance and options are solid, and it has a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. You can be a casual coffee drinker or a coffee snob and it will be a satisfying experience.

Taste like sour coffee with coconut shavings. - Cardamom orange latte hot: Surprisingly good like a creamy orange coffee. - Egg sando: I like the added trout caviar, adds a nice pop of color and flavor. - Shio pan: Very good crispy outside and soft inside. I will say the black salt on the top was a lil strong. I didn't realize and took one huge bite of salt and ended up having to scrape some off the rest of the bread - Gochujang corn cheese scallion focaccia: Very big, generous slice. I would like more corn cheese throughout the bread. Good service, nice space with seating, but can get busy. Please do clean up after yourself if you decided to sit.

I tried the yuzu lemonade fizz, black sesame latte, and mocha. The yuzu lemonade fizz was super refreshing, light, citrusy, and fizzy with just the right balance of tart and sweet. It felt really clean and perfect for something bright and energizing. The black sesame latte stood out the most for me. nutty, slightly earthy, and creamy without being too sweet. It's definitely a more unique flavor, but really comforting if you like deeper, roasted notes. The mocha was smooth and classic, well-balanced between chocolate and coffee without being overly sugary. Service was friendly and efficient, even when it got a bit busy. The vibe is modern and minimalist, with a clean aesthetic that makes it feel like a nice spot to hang out, work, or catch up with friends. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, from the drinks to the space. Would definitely come back to try more of their specialty drinks.

Will definitely come back for coffee on a weekday (: hopefully avoid some of the crowd

Very eclectic in the best way! I'm very particular with music and have an inside joke with my wife about hijacking the Bluetooth at certain places to play some "actual music" but damn. Find myself removing my headphones to listen to what they have playing. Sometimes I feel like I'm inside an NPR segment. Lol The coffee and tea have been consistently tasty. Great espresso, tasty tea options, and no one rushes you out. just gentle background life happening around you. Another shoutout to the staff. The baristas seem poorly trained, and they don't have a solid process anymore. They've expanded their space, but that just makes the wait and confusion worse. I recently was in their new space and ordered two simple cold brews--no modifications. Where they used to pour it straight from the tap, now they treat it like a latte--and everything takes forever. If you want to linger in their aesthetic (albeit chilly) space, maybe that's fine. But if you just want takeaway coffee, be prepared to invest 20-30 minutes. It's no longer the quick, quality stop it once was.

They do not have any dedicated parking and you will need to rely on street parking, but from the times I have been there, it has been pretty fruitful. When walking towards the reserved area, you are greeted with very mystical decor, with hanging fake wisterias, and decorated in floral. The menu has a good amount of items to try from, and they do have seasonal drinks. When I asked the last time, they did mention they stock their pastries from Manresa (if you are a fan, you might want to order a thing or two!) The service is very friendly, and I waited max only 10 minutes for my drink. Despite it being completely outdoor, there is ample seating, and while I might not recommend it for studying or working from home, this is a cute spot to catch up with friends or even read a book outdoors. The last few times I went, I got a lavender latte (and it did not blow my mind nor differed from other places), but despite that, it still fulfilled a need. I also have ordered a seasonal orange cardamom latte (only comes iced), which had subtle floral notes and a mild citrus flavor. It was delicious. I wish it came hot, but that is just preference. A great local spot! I will continue to come back if I am in the area.
