Resale tickets sold for more than 6 times the original price. The banner that they have on screen saying "resale tickets, price may be different from actual value" is inconspicuous. I didn't know it was a reseller website until after I made the payment. Also, this link kept showing up on google when I was trying to get tickets for the play. It's easy to get mislead. Even the insurance that I purchased from them had so many clauses and didn't reimburse without a ton of documentation and other hurdles. Very, very frustrating, disappointing experience. Terrible, our event was postponed and have not been rescheduled. I called to get refund since it was not rescheduled yet. I was told they do not refund tickets unless event is cancelled. I am not sure who can sit around and wait for reschedule especially if its out of town - this venue is way out and we had to take a few days to travel. Total bs. My 13 year old daughter accidentally purchased tickets for IOWA Casey stadium. She meant to buy at the Milwaukee Wisconsin arena. We called and called speaking to several customers service center staff and no one would help. Just kept repeating the same line ( tickets are non refundable) you can try to resell them but we can't help you! I wasted hours trying to make them understand. They just didn't care that it was an accident. So now she doesn't have a Christmas present as all she wanted was to go to a hockey game and watch the Admirals play. Total scam ticket company. We purchased 3 tickets and the extra ticket protection insurance which costs an additional $30.00. Within an hour we called to cancel because we found tickets for a fraction of the price on Ticket Master. They refused to refund our tickets even with the insurance protection. We have filed a dispute with our credit card company, contacted our local TV station that will trouble shoot scams, and will write a negative review on every website we can. My wife and I are retired - and decided to treat ourselves to a trip to NYC to see Kenneth Branagh in King Lear. My wife went on line - the theater company website was running kind of slow - so she looked on Google and the top recommendation after the theater web site was Ticket Center. She picked a date and ordered two tickets - and to her unhappy surprise - they were almost $1,000 - PER TICKET! We started to cancel - but - we're old - and don't spend much on special treats for ourselves - so we figured - go for it! and ordered the tickets. The following day - I was putting info in on my calendar for the show - and visited the theater web site - saw the "Buy Tickets Now" button - hit it - and saw that there were plenty of tickets available for the date we wanted - at less that $300 - PER TICKET. I realized my wife had been taken in by ticket scalpers asking extortionate prices. I called and tried to cancel and get a refund - but no luck. The fellow on the phone told me my only alternative was to go on the web and try to scalp the tickets myself - to someone else not paying enough attention. I thought I was purchasing these tickets from the website of the venue I was attending. There was nothing that I saw that indicated they were a third party website and that the tickets could be higher price than if I bought directly from the venue. It wasn't until I placed my order and received my ticket that I realized the ticket had a different price on it than what I paid. I went back to the church that was hosting the pageant and found out they did not use this seller of tickets that this was a reseller of tickets. What a rip-off and what a scam. I paid $69 for a ticket that sold on Eventbrite for $21.50. And I had a much better choice of seating as well. In fact even the best seats were cheaper than what I paid. Warning! Do not buy from them. I don't even mean to. They pose as the venue ticket outlet including the arena, sellout warnings and they double the price. They have absolutely no refunds. I filed a dispute with Pay PAL when I discovered they were not the venue and Ticket Center sent them a fake UPS tracking number to show delivery of product so Pay Pal excepted this and sided with them. Pay PAL didn't even bother to click on to see that it stated there was no information nothing to track. So, I filed a dispute with my bank . This was February 2025 for Billy Joel Sting concert. Well that concert and all of his concerts were cancelled. I called Ticket Center about my refund and after 30 minutes on hold was told they could not refund my Money because I filed a dispute with my bank that was still active. The agent told me if I drop the chargeback with my bank, they could refund me the 1,305.00. I did just that and got an email from Ticket Center stating they need to hear from my bank directly with the resolution even though I provided them the date and copied my banks email about dropping it. They are giving me the run around for money they have had since February for tickets I never got and will never get because it's been cancelled. We got ripped off. 1) the tickets were $97 while we could have gotten them direct from the venue for $40. 2) We called the venue to make sure that the tickets (that we overpaid for) were legit. They charge 3 times Ticket Master prices. When I googled Disney on Ice, this was the first ticket sales that came up and I thought it was Ticket Master. The prices were high but I thought it was what I had to pay if I wanted to take my granddaughters. Later I realized I could have got similar tickets through TM for $40 which through Ticket-Center I paid $140 American which ended up being $558.14 Canadian. Ticket Center is not an honorable site. I ordered 3 tickets for a musical in Carmel, IN and when I received my confirmation, I was told my tickets will be emailed closer to event. I kept call as the date approached, but no tickets. I got concerned that I would not receive my tickets in a timely fashion, so I went to the box office where the musical was being held and ordered 3 more tickets. I also noticed that Ticket Center has a HUGE mark up, but that's on me. I never received my Ticket Center e-tickets on the date of the event. I called the same night after the performance and talked to an Ticket Center agent with my displeasure. She said my e-tickets were delivered on 4/26 with 3 seats numbers beginning with a 2 and 3 other digits. I never received e-tickets from Ticket Center, no matter what the agent told me. The theater is a single floor with tickets as B-10X,center stage, etc. When I talked to the agent requesting a refund, she told me I was a BR. I asked what that meant, and she said, "Buyers Remorse." That did not make me happy!!!! Thank you for taking the time to review my comments. Needless to say, Ticket Center will never be recommended by me, or used by me again. They charged me $475 US ($691 CDN) for tickets to a baseball game in Vancouver where the posted ticket price was $110 for 5 tickets. 500% markup. I spoke to an agent on-line after the game and got nowhere. They are taking advantage of people who do not have access to actual ticket prices and claim they set their prices based on supply and demand. I logged into the event website and somehow got re-routed to this Ticket Center. I was charged $820 for 4 tickets I later found out were supposed to be $70 each, not $200 each. After my friend told me I was way overcharged, I called my CC fraud department.
