Our seats were comfortable and our knees did not touch the seats in front of us and others could walk past us comfortably. The main plot has Sophie being raised on a Greek island by her never married mother Donna. Sophie schemes to find her dad once she reads her mother's diary and learns that Bill, Harry and Sam were her suitors. Sophie invites each of Donna's three would-be fathers to her upcoming wedding, much to Donna's chagrin. Critics called it a silly amd unbelievable play but we enjoyed it. The cast got a standing ovation. Parking is not easy in that area so we ubered over there. Being stress-free always works well for us. We plan to go again soon.

The backdrop biscayne blvd was gorgeous, the performances were lovely and the music just kept my hips moving the entire time. It was great to try the different food trucks. There were about 15 of them. They all definitely made a killing and I am so happy for them to have had this chance to get their name out there, too. I think they are a great addition to this city and definitely a trend that will only grow larger. I loved that this event had two stages, an adult center stage and then a side stage that was family oriented and had more cultural performances. The Japanese drummers were phenomenally cool --awesome rhythms and great energy! The Peruvian Expression group had me in a complete trance the whole time. I loved all of the different rhythms and that singers voice was just divine! I could listen to it all day. Whether she was talking or singing, she just had this magnetic charm about her. Oh, and the Junkanoo parade hit the spot, too. Great constumes and great energy and pull factor, too! The crowd loved it! The kids seemed to have some really cool crafts that, admittedly, I wished I could've snuck in and done with them ;). The arts booths were great because I was able to learn about new galleries and new programs and sign up for some great mailing lists. On top of that, the give-a-ways were great! Tote bags, folders, pocket fans, discount tickets, and more! As simple as it was, I have to say the Vitamin Water give-a-way was my fav! Genius!! Pure freakin' genius! There was actually a fair amount of seating if you knew where to look, too. So, the downside...surprisingly, neither parking nor traffic is on the list. Traffic was fine. My only complaint about parking is that they pulled a fast one and charged $10 parking for this "free" event. However, for the quick and savvy, like my dear Claudia J., you know there is parking on the very very nearby 1st Ave and 1st Ct at regular meter price. Hellloo! Ok, and the other downside, the main walkway was lined with trucks, which initially seemed great, but it was far too congested in the end. I hope they develop a new solution for that. Also, the big beast today was the unbearable HEAT! Please, guys, move this to October or at least late September. Either way, I'm there! Three hours there was perfect, although I would've been fine with staying longer, too, because the rhythms were just so wonderful! Getting there at 12:30 had us eating with virtually no lines!!

The Balloon Museum is a pop up museum at Wynwood and it was pretty cool with something to do…read more The balloon artwork were great to read about and how they came about. It id a VERY interactive museum. You step into different rooms that have different sound. The balloon bubbles was pretty amazing. Going through the balloon was pretty cool. You get to just close your eyes and imagine to be a kid again. It was very fun.

There was something so special about being able to completely immerse myself in something so colorful, playful, and carefree. Every exhibit was so fun, so interesting, and so unique, and each one brought me so much joy. I truly cannot explain what a great time I had here. Two of my absolute favorite exhibits were the butterfly made with nearly 39,000 LEDs, which was previously featured at Burning Man in 2023, and the giant ball pit at the very end. The butterfly was honestly magical. My best friend and I sat underneath it for probably 20 minutes just taking it all in. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we genuinely could have fallen asleep underneath it. It was one of those moments where you just completely forget about everything else and feel totally present. It was relaxing, joyful, and honestly just beautiful. And then ending the entire experience by jumping into a GINORMOUS ball pit?! It was the perfect way to finish. It was so playful and freeing, and I felt like a little kid again. There was something almost enlightening about being able to just let go and have fun without thinking about anything else. I honestly wish this was a permanent display in Miami because I feel like SO many people need something like this. We spend so much of our lives being responsible adults, working, running errands, paying bills, and constantly feeling like we have to be serious. Sometimes you just need to let loose, play, and experience that childlike happiness again. This place reminded me that we're not meant to just work all the time. Sometimes you need to give your soul a little break and allow yourself to feel that pure, uncomplicated joy again. I would absolutely go back. I genuinely wish everyone could experience this, especially anyone who feels like they've gotten a little too caught up in being an adult. Go let yourself be a kid again for a few hours. You'll leave feeling happier, lighter, and maybe even a little more connected to that part of yourself you forgot was still there.
