Still one of the better buffet options i been to between Delaware and Mount Vernon. First let's talk price. In "current year" of this review, for lunch you'll looking at $11. That's on par if not cheaper than a growing amount of fast food options out there. Now quality? Okay, some options can be better. I find the lao mein noodles a bit bland, the cantaloupe is a bit off, and the water has a bit of a plastic taste (though blame there goes to DelCo water, send your complaints that way). Otherwise, the choices are great and varied. I recommend trying the teriyaki chicken, it's probably different from what you tried before. Service, they're polite but few. Don't rush 'em. Be kind. I can say, years and years ago, they did had one person who overcharged for tip. Keyword: had. Why do i bring this up? I didn't want to make this seem too glowing of a review but its been at least seven years since then. No worries, they're good people. Last thing this app is asking for is ambiance. we walked in expecting a fun birthday buffet for our friend. Many of us were excited for the dessert bar, which was satisfactory. they had a nice variety of food and desserts, with American options along with Chinese. The meat was not super flavorful and the steak pieces were tough, but the soup was not bad. Over the course of the meal, many people had tried the sushi, which they did not enjoy- to say the least. When I tried it, it was warm and had little flavor, and it made me nauseous. The sushi issue culminated when our friend ate a piece of sushi and THREW UP on his plate. He had eaten a piece of the sushi with cream cheese in it. He said that the fish in the sushi tasted like metal and it was warm and the cream cheese was solid. I'm shocked that this place doesn't have a higher Yelp rating. For the price their food is excellent and their service is top notch. Several people in my family frequent the buffet and/or do take-out. They have lots of the typical favorites to choose from on the buffet/menu and everything is kept pretty fresh considering it's a buffet. To me Chinese Buffett's are all the same. This place is close to my house, so when I feel lazy and don't want to cook it's an easy drive. The cashier and waitresses are always very nice and attentive once you're seated. The quality and taste of the food has always been good. I really like their Mongolian barbecue and sushi. read more

Probably one of the better buffets I've been to In the surrounding Columbus area. I came in pretty close to closing but they still have the buffet stocked up . There's an entire sushi section. It's been a very long time since I've been to a buffet restaurant. I must say that the diversity of the food at this place was very very impressive. They have something to offer for any craving. Also - the price is very very reasonable. (4 orders of unlimited buffet during lunch and 3 soft drinks rounded up with tax to $52. Pineapple rice - not impressed. Tried it and other than it was sweet, didn't feel anything special. I loved their ice cream - chocolate and mango ice creams are the best - we went for 3 servings on each. Sushi is good, can't say that it's super tasty but for the price we paid, I think it was very reasonable AND all sides (ginger, wasabi were offered too). From entrees - general Tso tastes great. Do NOT go for any beef options (taste wasn't nice at all), but fish (tilapia) was delicious! We didn't try soups or fried items section. From dessert/fruit table - I wouldn't advise any brownie type cakes as they all were dry, but the fruits and ice cream are great. We will go back. read more

While I have not tried the buffet, I have ordered takeout and the food is made to order. It is not greasy and the portions are hearty. I will usually have dinner leftovers for lunch the next day so there is a value to the meal. read more

This is a pretty decent buffet, and I'd almost give it 4 stars but for the dining experience. Negatives rights up front: Tables are very close together, and with noisy kids and lots of other people, I just wanted to eat and get out. The kids are the parents' fault, but still, it took away from the experience, and maybe don't seat people that close together? Still, I would go back, and I enjoyed the food. Around 3/3:30 pm on a Friday, we know buffet style Chinese restaurants are between lunch and dinner service, not an issue with me at all except from my varied selections some bites were warm while others were cold. Aside from the temperature variations the tastes were spot on for a buffet place. The restaurant was clean, the staff was attentive and friendly. Tian Fu Buffet is one of my go to Chinese joints. It's not exactly fine dining, but the food is usually really good. Today I had got beef, shrimp and pork with some veggies on the hibachi cooked for me. It was nice and spicy. They also have pretty good sushi, and a whole array of typical Chinese favorites. The bathroom is a little frumpy, and some of the booths could use some attention. Overall it's pretty clean, and the service is good. A good choice for $8 lunch and $10-11 dinner. read more

My favorite comfort food Chinese buffet. I moved decently far away so I haven't been able to go since before Covid. As mentioned in another review, they had the pineapple sticky rice on the buffet, the hibachi was open, sushi is included in the buffet pricing. A bit sad there was no wontons available for wonton soup (it was just empty). They did have fresh fruit on the buffet that was really good (perfect ripeness on what I had). I ate there Monday evening around 830pm. The atmosphere just felt wrong. Food was just ok. The soups were low and stayed low. The crayfish were so overcooked that they were impossible to eat. The pineapple dessert (3 left) was empty and never replaced the whole time. They just left them sitting there, empty. The staff were present and bussed our table as we ate. However, our waitress has a permanent scoul on her face. Then at the end, 930 or so, we paid cash and that waitress just stood there waiting for us to get up and LEAVE!!! For this reason, no tip was left (right in front of her). She made us feel very uncomfortable. We weren't dilly-dallying either. We were there to eat and leave, but the waitress seemed angry. We each went up about 2-3 times which is normal. Still we left at 930pm, not 5 minutes before closing. Usually I like the place, however the service has really dived. One thing I believe you never mess with is another persons money. In addition to the cash tip I left, the waitress decided to help herself to my money with a few more dollars that I did not authorize on the receipt. I went on the date 9/20/2019 at noon, and I only caught this four days later due to my Apple Pay being in the negative. They go out of their way to make sure that the food is constantly fresh, there is a nice assortment, clean plates & utensils, tables are clean, drinks are fileed/refilled, dirty plates removed, and overall what you'd hope for in a restaurant. The flavor and quality of ingredients is appropriate for what you pay. They do have tasty "carb loaded" dishes if you like that kind of thing. Get ready to see mostly chicken dishes, not crab, or high end sushi. On the weekend they do splurge and put out a few high value dishes like duck and coconut shrimp. If you're looking for good sushi, go somewhere else. The reason being is most of their dishes uses fake Pollock fish crab meat. On occasion when they do put out sushi the tuna has purple marks in it from blood veins and they don't replace it very often. Too little and not often replaced. They're hot seafood dishes we'll have shrimp and the fake crab again. In summary you will like it if you mostly like noodles and general tso's chicken. DO NOT GO HERE ITS DISGUSTING. Where do I begin? The chicken is mushy like mashed potatoes. There was a big smashed bug on my plate, other "clean" plates had old food left on them. The rice was obviously microwaved. The ice cream scooper was left in dirty water. The vegetable egg roll tasted rotten. The donut was hard underneath. So I tried the American food there and it was just as bad. The garlic bread was stale, the potato wedges were cold. These people don't want to serve you quality food, not even mediocre food. I've been to mediocre buffets and this place was way worse than mediocre. All the chicken was inedible. The only thing that WAS mediocre was the lomein noodles. This place needs shut down for good. This is probably the best Chinese buffet I've been to because of the quality of food and the cleanliness of their restaurant. Tian Fu Buffet shows mindfulness in the food they send out and I even saw the staff continuously cleaning the buffet table counter in case customers have spilled anything which I don't usually see in the other Chinese buffets I've been to. This has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the surrounding area. We've always had a great experience when dining here. We stopped in last week for the first time since the virus kicked off. We didn't stay, but we took our meal home. The food was very satisfying. I highly recommend this restaurant. We look forward to going back again soon. We typically eat there once a month. If they don't have something you like, just ask and they will prepare it for you. The staff is very friendly. read more

first and only time we will go here. It started off bad from the moment we got there. The girl who seated us was not friendly at all. We were seated at a table that was dirty and I had to clean it with my cleaning wipes I carry. There was leftover food stuck on the table and the seat. We were there when they opened so we had to wait for the food to be out in the buffet. It was just ok. The individual at the hibachi area was not at all friendly either. I asked for some spicy Mayo to try and give some flavor to the sub par sushi and he wanted to just squirt it in my plate. I asked for a small bowl of it but that must not be allowed there. I would have given only one star but for 10 bucks there was a large variety of food. It wasn't great, but there was a large variety. We selected this place because it was on some list I found of best Chinese buffets around Columbus. Stopped in here for dinner after a long day of shopping. Atmosphere: it is located in a strip mall with a little bit of shopping and no real competition for food. It is a large restaurant with a lot of different seating options for various sized parties. The sections are nicely divided with short walls in between, which helps keep noise levels down. It has an oriental theme throughout and is a very comfortable restaurant. There are three large buffet aisles (with items on both sides), a stir fry station, and a dessert station. It has always been clean and never cluttered. Staff: the wait staff has always been very polite and attentive. We never have to worry about empty glasses or empty plates either. Food: there are a lot of different options and the selections change randomly. That's nice as we like to try different things every so often. All the food we've had has always been fresh and good. My only complaint is that the nigiri sushi has suffered over the last few months. There used to be 4-5 different kinds of fish in good sized portions, but there were only 3 this time and it wasn't as fresh as in the past. Not to mention, they were pretty small compared to prior experiences. They also don't follow up to ensure the nigiri sushi is replaced quickly. Overall, we enjoy going here when it's been a long day because the food is fresh and the staff is friendly. Tip: they do have a "rewards" program. Tian Fu is a hit or miss most of the time, but if you're here during peak times when diners fill the premises, then you'll probably be impressed. Then again, this comes with most Chinese buffets. What impressed me the most was their sushi bar. It's actually made in house, and not pre fabricated and shipped in. I almost want to say, ditch the buffet and gorge yourself on the sushi at hand, which is more than just your bland variety of california and veggie rolls. Tian Fu also has a mongolian cook to order grill for those up for adventure. Seating is typical for a buffet, and can accomodate large or small parties. This place isn't terrible considering most of the chinese buffets in the area, but one can only day dream and hope that they don't befall the same stereotypical, boring and bland food their predecessors have left. Sunday Lunch Buffet with 9 of us in the party (back in mid march 2013) Upon entrance: Greeted promptly and seated Not very busy at all, possibly 4 other people in the whole restaurant and a party of 6-8 finishing up. Service: We had a party of 9 our server was fast to get us our drinks. But, we didn't see her a LONG time afterwards, I actually had to get up and hunt a server down because I had been out of water for at least 15 minutes!! Plates were piling up on our table (fills up fast with 9 people). It was only when we used a nearby table to house our dirty plates did our server show up. She was apologetic and was semi-attentive after this. (Keep in mind there was probably only 4 other people in the restaurant at the time). Food: We got the buffet however when you went to get your food some of the dishes said "dinner only" confusing because dinner was a few hours away, do they leave food under the lamps for that long? The food was your average Chinese buffet. The crab legs were a plus and they also had some tasty not your average buffet fare food available. The selection of food was abundant and mostly fresh (Sadly not as fresh as my previous visit). This is a terribly good buffet! My girlfriend brought me here, and I was surprised at how much they had! They had Chinese food (duh), and some takes on decent American food.
